She wasn't the first woman to hurt him, but she'll be the last...
Centuries-old vampire Ethan Chambers is hellbent on exacting revenge on the woman who orchestrated his attack and torture four years ago. Tracking her at an elite vampire party in Vegas stirs his deep-seated hatred and desire for the only woman he's ever truly loved. But his thirst for vengeance only intensifies when another man has already staked his claim.
Former art teacher and callow vampire, Genevieve Althoff longs for the days when she felt safe and secure in the arms of her first love, Ethan, the vampire who turned her. Years after his death, Gen's finally able to find strength and courage in herself—until her protector and friend winds up dead. Now, someone clearly wants Gen dead—and will stop at nothing until she's destroyed.
Torn between his desire and detestation, Ethan struggles with his feelings for Gen. He can't possibly turn away when her life is in peril. But, she's resistant to his charms and tricks. Gen wants nothing to do with the finer side of the vampire world; she wants quiet, calm, and cozy. Ethan wants passion, pleasure, and pain. Together, they battle for control.
Can Ethan swallow his deepest rage to protect the only woman he's ever loved?
This is a dark paranormal romance. Due to adult themes, language, and steamy scenes this book is recommended for 18+
*spoilers* We start with Ethan watching Gen with another man, furious that she left him to be attacked and tortured. The story slowly unfurls... Gen was made by Ethan and after years of thinking him dead sees him in the middle of las Vegas. He thinks she is to blame for his attack and has since moved on... Little does he know that she actually felt their bond vanish which usually means he must be dead... In her devastation, she herself was rescued by the vampire she currently lives with. An incident with Vince (the one she lives with) leaves her scared and confused as they have only always been friends. Gen is convinced to go to one last party but would prefer nothing more than returning to quiet life in London.. However Ethan has requested a claim form from the vampire council with proof that Gen is his... How will this benefit his vengeance? When Gen finds Vincent dead, she assumes Ethan has killed him but he was more interested in getting her out of there before she also was a victim. Ethan proceeds to teach Gen how to be a vampire and constantly wars with himself over his feelings for the one he thinks betrayed him. Sorting out a funeral for a vampire and receiving little gifts takes the threat to another level... The trouble is Ethan thinks she left him to die so she could leave and Gen thinks he left her for a meeting and never came back. Can Ethan see through his anger and pain long enough to find out the truth? Will they find out who killed Vincent and has acquired a new target?
I enjoyed this book in every way.. Parts of it did frustrate me but only because I was so sucked into the story. I wanted him to listen to her and believe in love. This book had everything necessary to make it one of my new favourites.. This well written and well paced book kept me entertained for hours and yes I did read it all in one day... How could I put it down? There was too much going on to think of taking breaks.

It's been a while since i picked up a new author and this seemed like it might be a good read. However, I nearly gave up at chapter 25.It was so slow and to a degree, repetitive. Also, Gen was just plain annoying. She had no real oomph to her and what she had was just a simpering dull woman. Ethan was only slightly better, but I thought Rachel might turn in to interesting character. It maybe because in most pnr books, the female leads are generally strong, sarcastic witty, and whilst they can have low points or horrible back stories, they grow through the story. As I'm on the stubborn side, I read a few more chapters before giving up. It really wasn't until about 28 that it picked up both in Gens character becoming more interesting and standing up to Ethan and the pace of the writing. I'm weighing up giving the next book a try. I also notice that Widen seems about to have a series too, which might be good as he's fairly well written in this and comes across as a character with depth.
As soon as I read the first chapter from Ethan's perspective I was hooked! Ethan is a very dark and sexy hero, which I love. The Las Vegas setting was so fun, especially as someone who has lived all over the Southwest myself. It's not often you get to read about vampires in the desert! Overall the world Eve Bale builds is a fresh take on vampires living alongside humans. There was also a good balance of steamy scenes and plot, with plenty of questions to keep you guessing.
I did not see the ending coming -- it is a cliffhanger, so I'm happy it won't be too long before I can read the next installment! I was also excited to see there is a prequel available about Aidan since he was my absolute favorite side character, and I really wanted to learn more about him.
I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves dark paranormal romance!
I loved this book! It was sometimes dark, sometimes sweet and it had quite a few unexpected turns. The main male character isn't like the ordinary super-hero vamp with power to turn the whole world upside down if he feels like it. He is scarred, a bit emotionally unstable and even a bit reckless and distracted, but you still love him. This book had a lot of heart, intensity and excitement and I can't wait to read the next one in this series!
This was a good story, but way too long winded 😕. I'm a speed reader, if the story is great then I read every word, but if I just can't get into the story cuz of too many details or bad editing, or other problems, I tend to skim through it and I found myself skimming way too much to really enjoy this one, which bummed me out 😪. So Thank you Eve, I appreciate the opportunity to read this story, but it's not worth more money to me to read the next book 🤓.
The first book in the Voracious Vampires of Las Vegas series a story of suspense, drama, danger, a villain, murder, lies, surprises, twists, and turns. This story ends on a cliff-hanger. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow what can I say. Deeply sinful with dark sizzling chapters. Characters were amazing and fun and the storyline was thrilling and exciting throughout. Fantastic read I recieved a free copy via Booksprout and I’m giving my review freely and honestly
4 1/2 stars An intriguing storyline with a very wonderful delivery. The characters are fascinating as was the suspenseful and well written storyline. The intensity of the drama grew as the story progressed.

I liked this book immensely, but don't particularly like cliffhangers. I will be waiting to read the next book impatiently. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampire romance.
Holy shiznet!!! What a gr8 story. Or I should say, start to a story. Unfortunately it ends in a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
This book is well written, with very good characters and pacing . The story is very interesting. I enjoyed mlyself immensely, until the last few pages.
Take my rating with a grain of salt, as I hate cliffhangers.
Well written book with complex engaging characters with plenty of plot and suspense. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tbh this was a difficult read and it definitely left a cheesy cliffhanger. Wish it had a more interesting story line and a great deal of character development.
First things first: Miss Eve, why you gotta left me hanging with my mouth open... like, literally?
This is the first of Eve Bale's books that I read (and there will be more in the coming weeks). I was supposed to finish JR Ward's books first (I'm more than halfway through, doncha worry) before delving into another vampire universe, but I couldn't say no to this sweet woman and I finally finish it after four whooping days! *pats my shoulder for a job well done*
If you want a slow burn filled with sexual tension, urban fantasy/paranormal romance, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU. If you enjoy revenge, angry sex, second chance romance, READ THIS BOOK AND LET'S BE FRIENDS. If you're okay with cliff-hangers and nail-biters, THEN WELCOME AND ENJOY THE RIDE.
And if you're not any of the three I mentioned above, I believe this book is not for you.
I won't be spoiling anything because I want to prepare you for this book because THIS. IS. EVERYTHING. I was honestly at the brink of closing my Kindle and setting it aside because it was too much of a slow burn for me (and I'm not a fan of slow burn romances), but thank goodness that I gave it a chance and made it until the end AND NOW I'M BEGGING FOR MORE. I can't wait for the next book because I need answers and I need Miss Eve to fix my shattered heart. I was gutting for Ethan and Genevieve. They need to end up together.
So there you have it. I'm just here to commend Eve and convince her to release the next book ASAP. I'm also here to encourage you guys to buy "Deepest Rage." I swear you won't be disappointed.
Thank you to the author for providing free e-book in exchange for an honest review.
The story starts innocuous enough. Genevieve is still pining over her lost love, but suddenly she sees him at a party. How is he alive? Why hasn't he contacted her?
Deepest Rage is essentially a story about a serious misunderstanding. This is not me trivializing torture. But I do find it funny how many books have something like this, and how easily it could all be resolved if only the characters learned how to communicate.
We are not served answers on the plate, Eve Bale teases tantalizingly to give us crumbs while we wait to see what happens, who is doing it and why.
There are some sex scenes, but overall spice level is at around 2/5. That is not a bad thing, though. I believe that, had the author tried to put more, whole thing would have felt forced. This way it is natural, characters telling us when they are ready for more.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars mostly because of the ending. While I am all for cliffhangers to entice us to read the sequel, this ending didn't really feel like a cliffhanger. More like we were cut off mid-scene with no desirable resolution. I hope we find out more in the sequel.
