Jimmy, Hayley, MJ, and Katarina have returned to school, but their lives have changed irrevocably with the discovery of Jimmy’s true identity as the dream child of the Breamstone Collective. Yet many questions remain unresolved.
The search for answers sends them deeper into Jimmy’s dream world and further into his past in an attempt to unravel the plots of the demons behind the collective. Purple-haired goth girl Morrigan may be the key – or she may be the one to lead them further into the darkness.
As the greatest powers of Hell finally take notice of Jimmy’s existence, he discovers the chance to change everything, if he can only reach the solution in time.
The Breamstone Collective is the third novel in the Demon Hunter series and contains explicit adult scenes and themes of black magic and demonology.
Michael Dalton is a professional journalist and editor.
Michael wrote his first piece of fiction in third grade, for which he was immediately accused of plagiarism by his teacher. Since then, he has been writing more or less steadily, interrupted only by occasional demands of work and family.
Michael lives with his family and multiple pets in Southern California.
A good continuation of the series. The MCs coven grows and he finds out more about his past. Again the only weird thing is that he works for hell but hasn't done anything evil yet. Is he a good guy or a bad buy? I will keep rooting for him until he does something truly evil. I like the story and the relationships.
Women that are mostly attracted to women and only a little to men. It doesn't make sense for a harem book as they would mostly want to have sex with each other and not the man, especially considering the succubus gives them the best orgasms they've ever experienced (in real life).
Sex in dreams is not nearly as interesting as real sex, many pages describing dreams would be more intetesting/enjoyable describing real world sexual experiences IMO. It gets ridiculous and silly with 15" dicks and constant non-stop orgasms.
It went pretty solid overall I feel. The end was.... it's like there's the ending, then the author tacks on one more thing to put the cliffhanger, which kind of... I dunno. If you hate cliffhangers you never would have made it this far in the series anyway, it just felt less a wrap up cause of it. Smut was... well some things I never thought would be done(even if tentacles had to be used), so that's a plus. There was even a time when *gasp* A word other than butt was used! Though only once, still a ridiculously overused word. I'll keep reading just for answers. Who will be give his attention to next? How will he deal with grandma? It's still solid, and scratches my chemistry itch so I'll keep reading definitely.
This continues to be a great series. Great characters and love the storyline and the world creation. I got really invested to the story and what would happen next. The use of realistic situations with the fantasy is what keeps it interesting! ( Aside what a normal person with wealth would allow simple interest to create a wealth beyond "a few hundred thousand dollars". That felt so unreal it was disruptive.. but a minor point.) Great adult fantasy that's fast paced and easy to disappear into the story!!!
The serving fantasy was very entertaining. I like the way the story was told from the main characters viewpoint as well as from the other main characters in the story. There was a lot of action and I like the interaction between the characters in their romance with each other as well as protecting each other. The story is pretty heavy and is very mature also towards the end it gets kind of dark and twisted and makes me wonder how the story is going to progress. I am interested to see what happens next.
This book is a quite good continuation of the haremlit series. There are battles. The harem grows. There are some very creative plot element. The sex is fun. One thing... As with many harem and reverse-harem books, when a group festive sex romp is described, it gets, yeah, more than a bit logistical.
I am pleased that a very solid submissive/masochist has been added to the group. :) Sex with Morganna is certainly different.
New plot elements have been added for later. And very clearly one plot arc has been ended.
Honestly, the only thing that I could ask you to improve upon is to find a better artist. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD OR DEMONS, THOSE COVERS DO YOU NO JUSTICE. Such an incredible story, so intriguing, so friggin fantastic, and so friggin afraid I’d have missed it because the first thing I thought when I saw the cover to your story was: “Meh, doesn’t look like anything special.” Get someone to draw hotter girls for your covers man, these look so cartoony and weird.
The Breamstone Collective is actively hunting Jimmy. Together with Hayley, MJ, Katarina, and Morrigan, they have to delve deeper into the dreamworld on a dark path. There are a lot of twists and turns, and lovely steamy bits. The characters grow while you read.
Michael Dalton has written a great series, and The Breamstone Collective is an awesome addition.
Once again Michael Dalton doesn’t disappoint. The story just becomes more interesting and intricate while the spice gets spicier. Dalton does a fantastic job of balancing the story elements with the level of spice so that readers don’t feel too overwhelmed by either at a given time. So often I either get nothing but spice (which isn’t bad if that’s what I’m looking for) or the spice is few and far between. This series so far has been perfect.
Well written and edited, developed characters, great storyline. I love how the MC is able to break down and resolve issues using science, and not just " ta da " .... Magic. This helps make the fantasy seem more possible. Love this series and can't wait for the next!
In terms of story, this is the best of the series (so far). The individual books in this series are much more complete than in most series, but there is a central mystery that starts in the first book and concludes here.
The characters are really strong -- I found I really cared about the girls as people, not just as helpers and attachments of the hero.
This was a exciting, actions packed entry to the series. James continues to grow his coven and explore his origins and build his powers. Lots of action and smexy times, a rollicking good read.
Still reading this along with another series that I like that this author has written called “ The Makalang”. Editing is good and books come out at a relatively quick pace.
A solid continuation, so keep them coming. I'm interested to see the bigger picture beyond the Hell faction, and I suspect that's where this is heading. If you've read the previous books (and liked them) this one should satisfy, other than that semi-cliff-hanger ending.
I know of. The writing approaches Powers , Blaylock or Willis, and it actually has a plot. I almost wish it wasn't explicit so more people could read it!
There are beginning to be too many interwoven plots to keep track of. But instead of chasing me away from the series I find myself wanting to read more and find where all the plot threads lead. Another good book
It has all the necessary wrap ups with nothing feeling forced. The set up for the next section is interesting and leaves room for many options. All in all, one could not ask for more.
Great Story! The characters are growing and maturing, watching it has been very interesting. It seemed that we were building up to the point reached in this book but we have a new conundrum. I can't wait for book 4!
Big fan of this author and this series delivers in all the important ways. Powerful MC. Check. Powerful sexy females. Also check. Lots of what makes this series great. Another check. Just need the next one.
To me the only drawback to this story was it went too deep into chemistry for not only me,but most other readers. The characters and sittings along with their dress are wonderful!
