Hunter Evans has always had conviction. He’s reliable, the guy that gets things done. So when he takes a simple job as a personal bodyguard for rock legend Daryl Dark, he doesn't expect Daryl’s shy, mousy personal assistant, Emily Shepard, to piss him off at every turn.
The more time they spend together, the deeper she gets under his skin. The more time they spend together, the more he suspects that this anger might be another feeling—one he’s not prepared to utter or believe he could ever feel.
As the job draws to an end, Emily vanishes, leaving Hunter to decide if he’s willing to let her go and ignore his aching heart, or hunt her down and be her everything.

3,5 stars This one was a bit of disappointing, I was hoping for more. I really liked Hunter in the previous book, so when Wynters made him just a man whore (don't like this kind of labels, but really don't know how to describe him), it was kinda of down for me. Lack of chemistry between the main characters, I can't consider this a romance, but the story was nice, well written. She ruined the Hunter character, though. What saves the book, from three stars, to four (3,5), it's Wolfie, he appeared little but when he does, he left his mark, so 0,5 to Wolfie character. Feels that Wynters had to write this story (fairy tales, and so), but her heart wasn't really into it, and it shows... A lot...
