After being roommates for a year, Leah and Andy get a lot more quality time together when COVID forces them into lockdown. They got along fine before, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?
Limited access to the apartment complex's laundry room leads to an unorthodox method to lighten the load: nudism. Hijinks ensue.
Guy White is a writer, journalist, ghostwriter, and author. He pens erotic romance that leans towards the sweet as well as the steamy and has characters who come with at least some baggage. He enjoys characters that grow over the course of a story, more so if intimate acts lead to them learning about themselves or their partners.
Guy likes writing, gaming, and all things nerdy and geeky. He would never have published his stories without his wife's encouragement. He lives with his family in the Pacific Northwest, where he writes his stories and tries to be a decent Guy.

Flatmates Leah and Andy find themselves stuck together, each working from home through the COVID pandemic.
One day Leah suggests they stop wearing clothes around the flat, to save the time and energy needed to do laundry.
And it works. Author Guy White writes his characters well. Leah is cute and likeable and Andy (great name!) is desperate, tortured and respectful at all times. For a story of this length, the build-up is slow, the sex is hot when it happens and everything wraps up nicely.
This is a friends-to-lovers/forced proximity story with elements of exhibitionism and voyeurism. If any of these peak your interest then it's a fine, fun way to pass the time - maybe while waiting for your laundry to be ready...
I loved the slow sexy steamy seductive climb of this story, with a delicious satisfying end. A delicate balance that teased to a rage between the two, yet took its time to full volition. It all seemed so right for them. Loved it! Perfect read!
I wasn't expecting straight up erotica to be so sweet and romantic! Not my usual read but the author is such a genuine, nice dude that I wanted to give it a go. I loved that it's written from the male's perspective and that he was sweet and very respectful. With that being said, the story is also super spicy so you get the smut payout and all the feels too!
If you like genre and plot, this is a well written book.
I’m going to start by saying, I have absolutely no business reviewing a book in this genre. I don’t read erotica, or have any interest in voyeurism or exhibitonism. Why the hell did I read it? Because the author is really pleasant to interact with, and it made me very curious what sort of book he would write.
I can’t comment on how well the erotica bit is written… I have minimal basis for comparison to advise you in whether or not it meets its mark there.
(I’m sorry… honestly I scanned over quite a lot… which means if this is your thing I’m happy to report you will enjoy the detail. If not… pass on this one—, reading a book with your eyes closed for most of it is really difficult. Def can’t recommend the experience.)
I can say, I read a lot of romance and this is written better than most of it. The internal dialogue is funny and (I imagine) realistic. The writing style itself would be something I’d happily read again if it wasn’t entire not my genre. There was a very healthy dose of consent which was shocking and good to see.
I took a star off only because if you removed the genre itself I struggled with the leap the character made from shy and not sure how to start a relationship to kicking it off with well… no spoilers since that’s the entire point of the book.
Basically, if you like this stuff it’s surprisingly well written and I am guessing that’s probably difficult to find in the genre in general, which is my only true motivation for reviewing.
If you don’t like the genre, skip. Unless you’re like me and prone to deadly curiosity….
This story started out innocent enough but boy did it take a turn. I was super stoked for the Leah's transformation and her discovering her desires with Andy. Their characters were relatable and the scenes were smoking hot. It was everything I could want from a lockdown story and more.
This short story was the perfect read for folks ready to dip their toes into pandemic stories without too much focus on the pandemic itself. Forced proximity, roommates-to-lovers, some voyeurism all make for a hot and sexy read.
Love the male perspective and that this guy, in particular, was a normal, happy, giving, and caring man. Good guys can be just as hot as bad boy alphas. Well written erotica is difficult to come by and always fun to find!
Great for just a short. A little more than just smut, yet simple and incensing. It was especially enjoyable to read from a male author's creative well in the genre.
I loved the push and pull of the undeniable sexual attraction between Andy and his new roommate Leah. The sexual tension between them played out so excruciatingly erotic and sensual that I was chanting for them to do it already! But when that sweet release comes, it’s nothing but divine. I am a new fan of Guy White and I cannot wait to read more!
This is an incredible story. Many times erotica writers focus on fantasies that will likely never happen. This is the opposite. We can all put ourselves into this story because we can relate on some level. I look forward to reading more of Guy White's work.
This read was light, playful, and a good use of "lockdown" story line. The female main is shy and seems to need to control how and when she engages in sex acts with the male lead, and anticipation builds from that alone. The story is told from the entirely male perspective, but he is particularly attune to where she may or may not be interested in sex. Sometimes in male POV there's the insensitivity to that, so I make it a point to the reader that this is a gentle, non-triggering read, that anyone who enjoys dirty sex will be happy with. Yes, there is voyeurism but it's like super friendly and moves the plot forward in some key ways. A good short read for a week-day evening.
"Lockdown and Dirty" is a sweet and spicy friends-to-lovers erotic romance short. I saw it right after I'd finished writing my own MF roommates spicy romance, so I had to read this one. I'm a bit envious that Guy White did something (no spoilers) sweeter than my own book had. It's very spicy, and a nice and fun read.
This book was cute, funny, and incredibly, increasingly HOT. An interesting, if not loose, plot. Realistic and relatable characters. And enough budding tension to keep me nibbling my lip and turning the page. Highly recommend.
Wow! This was SPICY and I loved every minute of it. It was a novella, so I was able to finish in one sitting. I loved how creative the roommates got during the lockdown for Covid. Lord knows if I didn’t have kids, my hubby and I would have been doing the same thing! I will definitely be checking out other works from this author!
