What constitutes ethical business behavior? What does it mean to do the right thing ? In a world that regularly stretches the limits of truth and fairness, these questions hold the key to personal and professional success. The Trusted Way is the story of Brad Parsons and the unexpected mentors he meets on his journey from morally challenged entrepreneur to trusted advisor and friend. Along the way, he learns about The Four-Way Test , a simple yet powerful yardstick that can be used to measure the impact of a person’s thoughts, words, and deeds toward 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
The Trusted Way is a compelling and accessible guide for building stronger relationships and making the world a better place.

This was a good book with good principles. I am partial to it because I am a Rotarian and try to live by the Four Way Test as well. I have read quite a few of these parable style business books and this one was pretty good, I think better than his first book. They are always a little cheesy and the stories formulaic, but there are still important lessons to be learned that can be applied to your life and your work. It is a fast read, less than 2 hours, so worth reading if you are a business person and are able to pull the nuggets of wisdom out and apply them.
The author, Patrick Galvin, is a fantastic storyteller. I enjoyed this book so much that we invited Oatrick to speak to our Rotary Club. We bought a few dozen copies and handed the out. Is a quick and easy read- perfect for all ages and can be read in an hour or two!
