Oh Wow!!! I had to read it twice to try to come up with what i wanted to say about this book and Oh Wow is about as close as I could get! I know that i say that the last book I reviewed was my favorite but I say with true honesty that Lopez ranked to the top spot. It had the shock and wow factor that we all love about Maddies books but it had so much more also. I love the story about Addie and Lopez and I can not say enough about all the Eidolon series. I urge you to read the series cause I know you will be hooked. Great job Maddie Wade.

Javier Lopez and Adeline Lasson meet in a very unique way. She is on the run from people who want her dead. Javier and his team find her unconscious and badly beaten. He stays by Adeline's side day after day. She is family and they take care of their own. After weeks of waiting and hoping, Adeline wakes up. Confused and scared, she tries to put the pieces of what happened together. All she knows is her daughter has been taken and she will do anything to get her back. First, she has to build her strength back up. Lots of physical training ensues. Adeline and Javier find themselves growing closer every day. They are definitely attracted to each other. In spite of the feelings growing between them, they are determined to get Addie's daughter back. A plan is put in place and the rescue attempt is on. What follows is an exercise in suspense, drama and pulse pounding action. Will Javier and Adeline survive the danger ahead to get the HEA they deserve? Get this book ASAP and find out. Wow this series just keeps getting better end better!!
Lopez is an alpha man with a beautiful soul and is, without doubt, the perfect mat. For Adeline. Their chemistry is instant and so tangible you could almost touch it. Watching the men of Eidolon work together is almost poetry in motion, they flow and work together like a well oiled machine. It’s a thing of beauty. Great to see new characters introduced.
Maddie had once again knocked it out of the park. This book ticks all the boxes; suspense, chemistry, tactical manoeuvres, pain, family and love. What more could you ask for?
You can read lots of books with brilliant stories but Maddie’s are in a class of their own. They are written with love and magic that pulls you in, invites you to pull up a chair and stay awhile. Could not recommend highly enough. Thankyou Maddie

I loved this one. You’ve got to love a hunky alpha nerd and Javier Lopez is all of that. He also has secrets. He’s been sitting by Adeline Larson’s bedside every spare moment for months watching and waiting for her to wake from her coma. At first he just needed information from her but the more time he observed and soothed her during nightmares he starts to feel different. When she finally does wake they learn her 4 year old daughter, Payton, is missing. The Eidolon Team gets to work finding her. As she heals Adeline draws comfort from Lopez and the two are definitely developing feelings. This book is action packed, suspenseful, has lots of hunky protective men and the women they love, a rogue CIA agent, a nasty dangerous cartel leader, a new ghost group that Jack has created, a new baby, dogs, kids, a wedding, love and family, blood and chosen.

I borrowed Lopez ~ An Eidolon Black Ops Novel ~ Book 9 from the Kindle Unlimited Program.

Javier Lopez, is the communication expert for the Eidolon team and when he helps find Adeline Lasson, she has just been beaten and is put into a coma that last several months. He knows she may have the answers to the mystery about his mother's disappearance and his father's part in it. He sits with her and as he watches her he realizes that he is more interested in her than in what she knows.

When she wakes up the team and especially Lopez helps with her recovery and finding her missing four-year-old daughter, Payton. The Mexican cartel has her, her former CIA handler is involved in a dishonest relationship with the cartel leader and the attacks just keep coming, along with revelations that are unexpected too. Lopez is another great story about the guys in the Eidolon Black Ops group and how they find love with hot and dangerous women.

This was a brilliant book. So good. 
Adeline had her daughter stolen from her and beaten,  only to wake five months from a coma. Lopez had been by her bedside the whole time keeping a vigil.
I adored the chemistry between Addie and Lopez.  He was so enraptured by her from the start,  yes he had his reasons but that was beside how he felt. 
I also loved the fellowship and support of the team at Eiloden and hope they all had each other's back,  and the support was practically unconditional. 
So well written,  I just had to fly through the book,  not being able to leave it alive for long.  But it's been that way for all the other books in the series.  I love the characters,  all come to life,  and great to read about.  I just love these books!

Oh Maddie! You outdo yourself with every book! I thought I loved Jack and Astrid, which I still do! But Javier and Adeline, OMG! This book grabbed my heart and nerves from page one! And I LOVE the English! I’ve been watching mostly British television and have fallen in love with the nuances of the British language and story telling. So I LOVE reading it in your books, Maddie! Your story telling mind is phenomenal! Simply cannot wait for DECKER and everything else you will be writing. Very highly recommend not only this book but absolutely everything written by Maddie Wade!

This latest story in the Eidolon series is about Javier Lopez, the tech wizard, meeting Addie, who is Astride's sister. Both worked for the CIA, both burned by their handler, with one exception, Addie has precious cargo she must get back.Lopez will do all in his power to help because he has fallen for her!! Again, we meet all the men and women of Eidolon Security as they work together to save Addie. Maddie's stories are always suspenseful and expertly written. This one is no exception. I LOVED it and give it 5 stars!!!! I highly recommend this book!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Fabulous

Welcome back to Eildon everyone!!! So we left Javiar sitting by Addies bedside......so how are they linked. Well we found out our resident tech has a secret, and we all know how secrets go?? Right... Anyway dive into this book where we find put why Addie faked her death and Lopez needs her. And of course the guys have his back especially our resident broody profiler.. So grab your favorite drink and blanket , make sure your kindle is charged because eildon is back.

Wow, what a suspense. I was on edge the whole story and my eyes were devouring every word. Addie and Lopez story is awesome because it made my heart race with excitement. I don’t want to say too much because everything I want to tell is spoiling. So I say to my opinion this is one of the best books in this series. I highly recommend, can’t wait for the next one.

Each time I read one of the Eidolon books I am convinced they can't get any better and I think I have found my favourite book but once again Maddie Wade has proved me wrong. This book was exciting with a brilliant story line and Addie and Lopez were a fantastic couple. I absolutely devoured this book then had to read it immediately again to pick up anything I had missed. I cannot praise this book (or the series) highly enough and eagerly await the next one in the series.

Another great read by Maddie. She has a way of getting you hooked immediately into her storyline and characters.

This story is about Javier Lopez and Adeline Lasson who have a past that ties them together even though they have never met.

Adeline Lasson is undercover from the CIA at a Mexican drug lords mansion. She is out of her element as Juan Ravelino is getting more and more brutal towards here and she is afraid for both her life and the life of her unborn child.

She contacts her handler and asks for an extract but he denies it so she contacts her old friends from a Seal team and them come to the rescue. Unfortunately, she then must make the decision to give up her family and friends and disappear.

Years later Addie is found beaten and in a coma. The Eidolon team is taking turns sitting at her bedside for months until one day she wakes up and looks into Javier's eyes scared at first until he assures her she is safe and he is a friend of her sister Astrid.

When Astrid and Jack arrive she tells them she has a daughter and she believes that Ravelino has taken her in order to get back at Addie for escaping years before.

Throughout, Javier is by her side helping her regain her strength so they can go find her daughter.

This book has lots of twists and turns and is another must read from Maddie and I can't wait for her next book on Decker.

Maddie Wade pens another twisting and turning episode of the Eidolon Black Ops! This one is so good as we get to spend a lot of time not only with our main characters Addie and Javier, but Addie's sister Astrid and Jack! Addie is in a coma, and her daughter has been kidnapped. Javier Lopez has been by her side in hopes of her waking up soon. She may hold some answers he is searching for regarding his own parents. But when she does come to, something he doesn't plan for happens. A soul biting attraction that will not let him go draws him to the brilliant woman. Addie is focused on the saving of her daughter, but she too is realizing just what she wants in her life. Will the two find what they are looking for and be able to mesh it into a happily ever after? I loved these two. the chemistry is strong, but the friendship they forge is even stronger. It's full of secrets and surprises which make it always a fun journey! It's a fun listen and great addition to this series.

Christopher Harbour gives us a fabulous narration bringing all the characters to life. He is able to go from Addie to Javier, to Peyton, a child to Mia an older woman! It's always a pleasure to enjoy a narrator with a great range and he brings them all to life. Give this one a listen!

Lopez is already the ninth book in Maddie Wade’s mind-blowing Eidolon Black Ops series! I do not know how she does it but it gets better and better with every single book AND I absolutely love how we get a glimpse into the next book at the end of the one we just finished AND how the leading lady is someone who has some sort of connection to the guys and/or WAGS (wives and girlfriends). Please do not start with this book, you absolutely need to read the stories in the order AND I suggest you also read the Fortis Securities series as those guys pop up in this series!
Javier Lopez and Adeline Lasson have a connection that neither of them is fully aware of. Both of them think that they have the full picture and surprise surprise, the way Maddie weaves her stories, that is not the case! The trust that Addie has when it comes to Lopez, the depth of feelings that Lopez develops, the attraction that does not have an end … the old enemies and the new ones AND the glimpse we get into the Shadows that we get and … I am left speechless! A masterpiece! I wonder how Maddie does it every time. You get everything you can wish for in her writing – suspense, pain, family, forgiveness, brotherhood, chemistry … I hope that she keeps on giving and I cannot wait for Decker AND for the Shadows!

What a great story I have just read as I turn the last page. A love story filled with tough sexy men and a crime story with a kidnapped child who is with a drug dealer.
It all started with Adeline lying in a coma after being brutally assaulted, almost to the point of death. Lopez, one of those beautiful men I mentioned earlier, is part of Team Eidolon, a Black Ops team that just barely move inside the lines of the law. He and his teammates try to find Payton, Adeline's daughter, and get her back. Along the way, he loses his heart to Addie.
Addie living in constant suspense while her daughter is gone, she learns to trust Lopez. He gives her a sense of security that she has never found in a man before. Her body, soul and heart let her know that he is the man she sees herself growing old with. Lopez does everything for her, even taking bullets meant for Addie and Payton. Fortunately, they reach the end of the story together with a touching marriage proposal.

Beautifully intertwined story of crime and romance. A HEA. Highly recommended

When Adeline Lasson awakes from her coma, Eidolon IT Tech, Javier Lopez is at her side, holding her hand but soon her sister Astrid and Jack arrive and Addie tells her story. Addie and Astrid lives were surprisingly parallel with CIA, Hanson and Ravelino… except Addie had a daughter that’s been kidnapped! Javier knew Addie’s CIA work got his father imprisoned and he thinks she can help locate his mother’s body. It’s all muddled because he fell in love while she was in a coma!

Thankfully, while linked, referencing Jack and paralleling Astrid’s tale, Addie’s story didn’t regurgitate The team and story worked great. That said, this reader liked but didn’t love the outing; tor my taste, the romance was weak and lacked and the end too predictable. Again, to my taste, it felt like ‘ok, happy ending for you because so much so far sucked.’.

Adeline was beaten and had her daughter stolen from her, only to wake five months from a coma. She knew that Lopez had been by her bedside the whole time keeping vigil. (It would be a good idea to read the previous book to find out why Adeline has gotten into this situation). The reasons why Lopez stayed only become apparent further into this story....but the couple’s chemistry quickly escalates and alongside the support of the team the suspense builds. Lopez stays by Adeline's side while working to make her stronger as the team put a plan is put in place to start the rescue. Will everything go according to plan?
As with all of the stories that Maddie creates within this series there are many twists and turns and am really looking forward to the next one in the series. Definitely recommend you read the books in order to get the full benefits of the characters and continuing storylines.

A kidnapping, rogue CIA operator, a drug cartel and so much more make Lopez a must read. It's dramatic, exciting and has some significant fast paced action. Oh and don''t forget the chemistry between Javier Lopez and Adeline Lasson...hot! Eidolon is front and center in an all out effort to rescue a four year old and take down a vicious drug lord.

Javier is just your every day nerdy hunk; tall, lean, muscled and gorgeous. He starts to fall for a comatose Addie as he sits by her bedside for months waiting for her to wake up. He may have started out with ulterior motives but this woman captivated him. Awakening with Lopez by her side abated some of her fear but she had but one goal; find and rescue her daughter. Regaining her strength, gathering intel and planning the rescue with Lopez by her side has her falling for this man. She's not alone, he's falling too.

Absolutely Outstanding .
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of LOPEZ . This is book nine in The Eidolon Black Ops series .
This is one of my favorite series . Javier Lopez is a computer expert for Eidolon . After they rescued Adeline Lasson he has sat by her side while she recovered . He believes she has answers he needs . Eidolon swear that they will help Addie rescue her young daughter . She's been taken by an enemy of both Addie and Eidolon . Javier and Addie spend time together their attraction and feelings grows more intense . They will have to fight their pasts and secrets if they hope to have a future . This story
is action packed and Suspenseful all out intriguing . I read this story in one evening cause I couldn't put it down . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Amazing read, gripping and lots of suspense but also a lot of love. There is also loads of pain from both characters as they work through getting to know each other's pasts and events leading to the now. The team are expanding in more ways than one but family and friendship always come first, they support each other but won't hesitate to give a kick up the a.. if they feel it's deserved, I see a lot of that coming in Decker's book lol. This is a fast flowing pace and well written, characters to love and want to know for real. I read well over half this in just a short time before forcing myself to put it down and sleep, I could easily have stayed up to finish it. There is a small amount of violence, which had me on the edge of my seat and a few twists. The teaser at the end though wow... I already feel the pain that's coming from that. Another gripping story line from Maddie Wade to continue the twists and turns of the Eidolon series.
Lopez has waited, patiently, for Addie to wake up and reveal her secrets but, as Maddie, does so well, the attraction is tangible. We already know that Lopez is the looking for answers, but does Addie have them? Along with the usual drama, action and of course, hot Alpha males this team go from strength to strength along with the partnerships with the women they adore.
Well written, some new characters to start world building the next series (I hope), a solid story and all our favourite members of the team make this a perfect link to Decker’s book. (Teaser at the end…priceless and how can you make us wait??)

With each book we get in this series, it seems to just get better and better. Along with more clues as to what might be going on in the long run. But this one with Javier and Addie just made my heart melt. The things she had to go through and what she for back was so much more. She got her baby back, the man of her dreams and a mother-in-law to boot. What Lopez got was a woman who loves him unconditional, a daughter who gives him life and his mom back. They made this story so good and I just loved it. I can't wait to read the next one in this series. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

Muscles and brains are my new kryptonite!

More secrets....secrets almost destroyed Eidolon once and Lopez knows he has to come clean, but that may just cost him his future with the woman who owns his heart. He may not know her but she completes his soul in a way he didn't know was possible. Lopez is laid bare for us here, we see his geeky side, his protective Alpha side and his slightly insecure, abandoned son side....all of which have him burrowing deep into your heart.
Another fantastic visit to Eidolon, with Decker's book following in October...expect fireworks! I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Keeps the feels flowing

Adeline, former CIA, and Lopez, an Eidolon tech operative, have a past that is intertwined even though they have never met. As the story progresses a connection is felt, obstacles are created by each of them, and when the chips start to fall the danger may tear them apart. Maddie Wade keeps the feels flowing and the steam rolling in Lopez. Once again Ms. Wade set a perfectly imperfect couple on the road to happiness. Now there are only two single men left to fall from the Eidolon team and I have a feeling that the next one will have a long way to get there.

I listened to the audiobook of Lopez. One way I judge good narration is when I can lose myself in the story and I am not overly aware of the narrator being male or female. By that I mean that I am not listening to a narrator struggling to read the parts of the other gender.

I completely lost myself in Lopez and Addie's story. Addie needed to heal on both a physical and emotional level . Lopez was right by her side as she did it.

There were a couple of unexpected twists toward the end. There was also the introduction of the Shadow group. This book had danger, suspense, mystery, and a nice amount of heat. A 4.5 listen.

I voluntarily listened to and reviewed this audiobook.

A very entertaining book. I was pulled in from the start. We finally get to learn about Adeline and everything she's endured. She's such a strong woman for all she's been through. Lopez is drawn to her while she's recovering hoping to find answers, but when she wakes he soon realizes it's more than wanting answers. He wants the woman herself. With the CIA and a drug cartel threatening their happiness and Addie's daughter's life, they find strength in each other to face the challenges ahead. I received this book as an ARC.

This is a must read!!
Maddie Wade, you are absolutely wonderful! Lopez is mentioned as part of the Eidolon family throughout this series until you just can't wait for his story. Lopez does not disappoint. As the series developed, Lopez is portrayed as the computer geek which he is, but oh my he's so much more. He has secrets as well and when he meets Adeline, he knows it's time to tell all. I love books that grab your attention right away but it doesn't stop there, you're so caught up in the story and all the characters that you hate to see it end. Maddie even leaves us with a teaser for Decker and it's a doozy too.
