Hunter Michaels has watched both of his brothers find their place and their wives at REAPER-Patriots. He has zero interest to follow in their footsteps, but he is committed to protecting them all. When a suspicious woman steps foot in the compound asking for protection, he doesn't believe a word of it. Worse, she's gorgeous and makes his body feel things he shouldn't! Finding her voluptuous body naked in front of him was the worst possible thing that could happen to him. Or maybe, it was the best.

Megan Scott is out to avenge the death of her sister and to bring down the motorcycle club with ties to the KKK and the Nazi party. The problem is she's so over her head even an Olympic swimmer couldn't help her backstroke her way out. When she goes one step too far and finds herself beaten and near death, she's shocked to wake in the house of the handsome Hunter Michaels. Now, she has to learn to trust Hunter. More than that, she has to earn his trust and in the process find the lost artworks, put her sister's killer behind bars, and not lose her heart to Hunter. Good luck with that.

Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. With events in the last book, you knew how this one was going to start. I knew Megan was hurt bad, but holy cow, they were brutal with her. I'm glad that some of the guys were there to save her from more and get her help quickly.

Megan fit in with everyone at the compound well, listened to what they all had to say and even wanted to do a little matchmaking of her own with some of the guys.

They did get to the bottom of things and it was crazy who was involved, especially as you learned of the things they did in their lifestyle. So glad that they all were taken care of and that brand of evil is gone.

On a side note, how much fun was it to see the other MC come at the restaurant and firmly be put in their place, not once, but twice and realize despite being a 1%er they were totally out classed.

Another one bits the dust

Mama Irene and George strike again with Megan and Hunter. Instant love. Ms Kennedy gas formed a series of books that you immediately fall in love with all the characters. The story lines are easy to fall based I feel that we read about in the news. I personally will never get sick of this series. Megan placed herself in danger by trying to get to her sister's murder and to find the stolen art. REAPERS-Patriots to the rescue. The history of the Nazi stealing precious art from families that died at their hands. Excellent story.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great. I really enjoyed most of the characters. But a couple of was really questionable. This was a book of compassion, kindness, protection, revenge, and coming into yourself. I really enjoy hunter and Megan story. I think they really deserved each other because they both went through some not so nice things and their lives. Great read! I recommended book to all romance readers. Now on to the next book in this series.

Second part of the story started in Jax

Another great story in the REAPER-Patriot world. Though sad to say the issues her characters face are real world issues. Looking forward to the next installment.

Very good

This one might cause triggers. It's pretty graphic in places with beatings and rape. But overall a great book. I'd recommend it to anyone. Enjoy!

Ugh

The fact that the main heroine is a size12 and referred to multiple times as big is beyond ridiculous! Nowhere should a 12 ever be referred to as big.
