When a Maid Captivates His Heart
Rose, even as a young child, often aspired to achieve a lifestyle beyond her social class, but as a lady's maid, she could only dream of it. That all changes when her mistress, Lady Montague, sends her on a secret mission to infiltrate nobility in her place. A very touching regency romance
This book begins with a young lady that was supposed to be married but at the last minute she finds that he has married his first love. She sets out to find what the other lady had that she didn’t. Since she is talked about by society she sends her on personal maid to dress up and attend balls to spy on her former boyfriend and his new wife. While the young maid is just observing the dancing a young Lord comes over to talk and ask her to dance. They become fast friends until her mistress is told at a tea what has been going on. Must read to see what becomes of them

Clean romance read
As the preview states this story involves a maid, Rose, who under threat from her mistress, goes to a ball to see what she can find out about her mistress’s former betrothed. Well things get complicated and a bit ugly before all gets untangled. A little too much and lengthy in some parts but overall I found the plot a bit different and the story was a very easy and simple read. It was a fast and light read.

When a Maid Captivates His Heart
Wonderful storyline and story had a few turns in it where poor ladies maid took a nasty turn for following her mistresses orders.It would have been extremely good read,if so many thoughts were not it.It was just repeating same thing over again.Which made me skim over said parts.Overall the book was a good read.The Extended Epilogue was a great finish to this story.

This story was excellent and one of a kind! I love how detailed she made the point of view of both main characters throughout the book, except the ending. The author was so detailed in all the story but the ending seemed rushed and I would have like to have a more completed ending that included Rose’s point of view and not just Edward’s. (You can have this option if you go find the extended ending, it is worth it!). Overall it was a good read.

This is a great story that tells a tale of deceit, undeserved punishment, and breaching the social barriers. This clean and sweet plot has the two main characters having to navigate one or two trials, before they can claim their future. The extended epilogue is used brilliantly to tie up any loose ends. I read an ARC copy.

Rose is a Lady’s Maid but her employer sends her on a mission disguised as a Lady to a Ball where she meets Lord Davenport. This story tugs at your heart strings as two kindred spirits forms a special bond to each other. A must read as to where their journey takes them. There is deceit, misunderstanding, heartache, heartbreak, lies, love and romance.

Too long
The story dragged on too long. The repetition was subtle, but it was there.
While I don't believe a servant would actually be able to mix almost seamlessly with the Ton...let alone marry a noble..the concept was intriguing. The story just dragged on too long.

Absolutely fabulous read!
This is an amazing story with fantastic characters! So very good I had to stop at 3am and sleep (even though I did not want to) and finish it this morning! I cannot find the right words to actually describe how much I loved this book!
