Josef owns and manages a caravan park in NSW, Australia with his wife, Sandy. Born in Germany, he emigrated to Australia in 1964 with his parents and two brothers. He began writing at an early age, but only became serious about producing a self-published work recently. He writes for the pure enjoyment of it and will not be quitting his day job any time soon. He has written in many genres, producing a biographical account and a fiction novel, but is passionate about science-fiction.
Other worlds and particularly, other sentient species, holds a profound interest for the author; a subject he hopes to include in upcoming novels.

I loved this novel set in a post covid/nuclear attack disaster time in Australia.
A beautiful country that was hit with the covid pandemic then attacked by China with nuclear weaponry.
Two survivors, who have been raised underground by their parent(s). one believing that she was part a Mars colonisation, one brought up by a dad who educated him well but at the same time using him as a 'guinea' pig for saving the human race from the devastation of a virus that originated in China that was then made into a super virus by chinese nuclear weapon attacks.
'Endure, Hope rises from the ashes' had a believable (but hopefully not true) storyline. Written by an emigrant from Germany at the tender age of 4 yrs old, an Australian citizen, since he was 18yrs old.
Sadly there was a lot of US American thoughts, themes and words used throughout this thought provoking novel. US American spelling and grammar - eg: 'gotten hold of' should be 'got hold of.
veranda instead of verandah!
This novel also ended abruptly without any ending, very, very disappointing as I was very engrossed in the story, as to how these two adults who were still juveniles in life and emotions would navigate this post pandemic/nuclear disaster.

Down the rabbit hole

Interesting read with some very unexpected turns bad daddy and foolish son who takes twenty five years to learn the truth, and a young girl who can't believe the truth in a world gone mad. Read it.
