Jacqui Rose is a novelist who hails from Manchester and South Yorkshire, though she now lives in the South East in the countryside, surrounded by her horses and lots of animals. Jacqui first came to appreciate the power of the written word when as a child she charged her classmates a packet of sherbet dips to write their essays for them. Adopted at a young age and always a daydreamer, she felt isolated growing up in a small mining village in South Yorkshire and it was her writing which kept her company. Jacqui has written a variety of things including stand-up comedy, radio drams and screenplays. She is published by HarperCollins and Pan Macmillan and has written over 16 bestselling novels. She is also collaborating with Martina Cole on Martina's new novel, Loyalty.
Jacqui Rose also writes under the name of J P Rose (not to be confused with the American author!) and has written, The Haunting of Tyrese Walker her first teen/YA novel.
A gritty unique storyline that keeps you guessing right until the end! Read it in just under 24 hours! It's definitely a different vibe than her usual thrillers. This ine takes the reader on a mystery. You feel very engrossed and interactive in the plot line.
Thought i had the mystery figured out my about 39%, but ohhhh, it was wrong! Well done, Jacqui Rose. Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏
What a great page Turner couldn't put this book down, Jacqui Rose knows how to keep you gripped from the first page. Kept me guessing threw out all of the book till nearly the end. She such a brilliant Authour. Cannot wait for her next book. Worth so much more than 5 stars 🌟
Well that was a great book ! It had me guessing but my goodness a very hard read at times ! Poor Jo Martin was a victim not a criminal and that’s what I found so difficult to read !! She is imprisoned for allegedly killing a child . The system failed Jo she went to prison served her time and came out under an assumed identity. She throws herself into a life in Soho where she stays at Desirees night club where Barney and everyone have secrets! Ned is a horrendous human and all I can say I’m glad he got his come tuppance in the end !!
Another fantastic book by Jacqui Rose. What a read ,I have laughed , cried ,and it was definitely a rollercoaster of a book. The characters were believable and the storylines kept me reading when I should have been sleeping . I keep thinking I had worked out the people but I was surprised by that part.Definitely not to be missed .I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys gangland thrillers and sagas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
