Matthew is the author of the Florida Keys Adventure Series and the Jason Wake Novels. He's always had a deep rooted love for adventure and the ocean. He loves traveling, diving, rock climbing and writing adventure novels.
Lots of action! Well developed story and characters. One aspect I did not liked is the outcome of the Charlotte character. It would be nice if the main character was allowed some happiness in his personal life. It gets old when their love interests always end up in tragedy! Other than that great story!
Suggest your heroes do more grip workouts. Each book has the hero’s gun knocked out of his hands during a fight. Every time, book after book. Also, it is very possible to fire a gun twice and hit two targets before they can react. Again, in every book, the hero fires his gun and the second target evades him and either escapes or a fist fight ensues. Change it up a bit, please. Otherwise, fun reads.
Matthew Rief is one of my favorite authors. I like the Jason Wake series, but near as much as I like the the Logan Dodge series. This one may have been a little better than the first three, but (to me) it still doesn't quite measure up. As long as I can get these on Kindle Unlimited, I will probably continue to read them.
Be true or even possible. Fast paced, action packed, brutal to say the least. But, once again, in need of good proof readers. Some continuity hiccups, some lapses in information, etc. But still a really good read. Again...time for a nap.
