The Heart Of A True Savage
Pushing dope through the city was an easy task with his right-hand man being the mayor of the city. Getting in the office was only something to do so that he and his best friend could succeed in the dope game. With street and book sense Major always had a plan and getting in the office was one of the main reasons he and Turk was making big moves in the game.Turk was born, raised, and still in the hood. His mother raised him and his siblings to be everything the hood said they wouldn’t be, but the hood life was just in him. With all of his siblings being successful entrepreneurs, he was the one that took the other route. With no woman on his hands and being kid free, he is living the fast life in a fast lane. That was until he met Katrina Gormez.Katrina was placed in the office as Mayor’s assistant. She was hood, professional, and everything Major knew his brother-n-law would love and need to slow him down. Falling for Katrina wasn’t in Turk’s plans, but it was beyond his control. Katrina simply made it hard for him not to.Katrina back is up against the wall when her son does the unthinkable to protect her. Turning to her little brother Jerry for help, Jerry involves his boss who has all the connections and can make their problem go away for good, which turned out to be Turk. In the midst of helping, Katrina learns that he and Major runs a big drug operation. Simplicity is how Katrina enjoyed living and she knew that would be impossible being with a guy like Turk, but being caught up with her son quickly pulled her into living a crooked life.While Major calls all the shots in his city, and in his drug business he struggles with staying fully committed to his wife which will stir up a lot of drama in their home and family. Using his power to get back at the people that has disrespected him may cause him his marriage and friendship, but it was a risk that he was willing to take.In The Heart Of A True Savage, you will get a peek of how Mayor Major and his best friend turn their city upside down right along with their lives. Talk about someone being in their feelings big time. Major dished the constant hurt and pain but couldn't handle it once it was dished back. He was moving shady and allowed Jerry to see how much he was intimidated by him. Turk had a whirlwind of things going on that seemed to be never-ending. His temper was crazy and not listening almost caused his family harm. Louis was a piece of work and I'm glad he got what he deserved. Kaylee really put up with too much but Mark leaving have her the boost needed to remove herself and the kids from their situation. I loved Butter and how she wanted nothing to come between the family. Veronica deserved that beat down but I hate how she played with Katrina because of her jealousy. Katrina and Turk's first encounter wasn't the best but I was happy for them. Jerry young behind had dudes pressed and him trying to get snitches out the way definitely led to so much more. Overall I was happy Major learned from his mistakes and was able to right some of his wrongs although some of his methods weren't ideal.

Sometimes keeping secrets does not turn out good
I thought for sure Major was being sneaky and grimy, when all along he was making sure his family was straight for life. He did go about things the wrong way and caused a lot of problems that could have been avoided, but I'm glad everything turned out for the best. That Veronica was really getting in my nerves with her scheming, sure was happy when Katrina finally whopped her butt. Major was wrong with sleeping with another woman and getting her pregnant, and Angela didn't make things better by getting back at him by doing the same thing and sleeping with Jerry. Everyone in this book had some secrets except for Butter, she was always trying to keep the peace and just make sure her kids and family was staying out of trouble. All in all this book was definitely a good read.

Good, good, all around good
This is a all around good ass book. Just like your others you out your all into this. I LOVE ME SOME JERRY. Jerry please come find me baby LOL. I couldn't put this book down if I wanted to. I felt like I was in the book with these characters. I hated how Yulana killed her niece because I wanted to see a hat she had in store for Turk. I love the fact that Katrina did whatever she had to do to make sure her son didn't go down for protecting her. Jerry & Angela...the sex scenes whewwwwww, I felt like I was there. Johnazia girl you did that. I'll be looking out for more releases from you. Love, love, love everything about you and your writing.

Love this book
First let me say I been waiting on you to rerelease and finish this book. I think they were to forgiving about what Major did he had good intentions but he just did too much. Also If I was him I wouldn't want Angela back either because she cheated with Jerry but also grown feelings for him. But overall I liked mostly all the characters besides Veronica Kaylee nor Zoey. I halfway Major lol

Bomb dropping
Where do I start I love Moma Butter and how she all about family. I could not stop reading. That Veronica was something else hate to say but she got what she deserve for being so vindictive and selfish. Turk don’t play about his family especially his sisters. All in all I love how it ended for everyone. It was like I was reading half my own life. Great work Johnazia you always giving us what we want.

Great
I enjoyed this book, as a first time reader of this author, I can say the storyline flowed with some bumps in the road,! Family, loyalty, respect and love is what mattered throughout the book. There was some.rough patches but family stood strong and relationships that were supposed to be repaired were, while ushers were dealt with appropriately!

This was really good. I love that it was a standalone that left no stone unturned. Family was the central message in this one and this family stuck together through the good and the bad.

I give this book 5 thumbs up so good and I just love how the family was so close together and never let anybody or anything come between them in till he crossed all the wrong ways you should cross family at no price family is everything

Never disappointed
The emotional rollercoaster I was on was well worth it. This book is awesome from star to finish. Definitely going to recommend this book for my friends to read.
