Saving Grace: A Barrett's Bay Romance

Rate this book
To save the man I love, I had to go back to the man who claimed to love me.John’s love is toxic, poisonous. But maybe it was all someone liked me deserved.

I had escaped him once, but he found me, just like he always promised he would. I have to play nice, win his trust, pretend I’d made a mistake. It should be easy. I spent eleven years being his perfect bride, but the thought of even one more day with him is unbearable.

But I have a more terrifying secret, for the last four years I have been informing on him. Feeding evidence to the NCA in exchange for my freedom. Now the world thinks I’m dead and I don’t know what is more terrifying, his love, or the possibility of him discovering what I have done.

Hi all, Emily Stormbrook here, I am a steamy paranormal romance, romance, and dark romance author, seeking to quieten the voices in my mind one story at a time.
British born and raised, with a background in IT technical support (watching Jed's jobs was like a day in my life) I am currently a full-time carer for people with debilitating or degenerative neurological conditions and like to spend my time reading, gaming, and at the gym.
I've always felt the pull to write what I hope are stimulating and sometimes a little dark books.
I hope you'll join me on this journey.

Absolutely amazing finish to Miranda and Jesse story!

This book had me on the edge of my seat! I was rooting for Miranda the whole way. After meeting Bastian and rob I can not wait for their own stories! I am so ready for Riled Up.

This is not one of those books you skip pages because it's getting slow or boring, this baby had me unable to SLEEP because I wanted to keep reading on. Went to work with eyes like SpongeBob's snail, Gary. Coffee saves. Still, my coworkers noticed. LOL

I think this one was even better than the first book. Here we get to know more about the hero—AND THE GUY IS DREAMY AF, my fam. I like the heroine too, Grace is smart, strong, has a backbone but is still sweet. Both hero and heroine are very likable and their chemistry is liquid fire. I love the sexual tension that sparkles between them and every encounter is meaningful and HOT.

Something else that picked my attention here, you know those books in which we feel like we kind of like "belong" to the universe/community created? That's what happens here, and it's an oddly pleasant feeling. The secondary characters are interesting and you'll probably feel like you know them. I wanted to be friends with the lady who knows all the latest news about *everyone*. hahahaha

...And I'm calling dibs on the hero's brother, y'all.

Recommended.
