Azalea As a respected event planner, my social life has never been busier. I get to travel and throw larger-than-life parties. But as much as I love the party life, I’d give it all up to have a family of my own. Luckily, my research for fertility options is successful, and I’m prepared to move forward with or without a partner. But when a sexy animal doctor and I bond over a sweet pup, I need another dose of him. Ken is tall, strong, and makes my heart skip a beat. But can I love him without holding him back?
Ken My job as a veterinarian is everything I hoped it to be, rewarding and it pays well. But as I adjust to life as a single dad, the busy schedule can be challenging most days. It’s my dream to find a woman to love my daughter and me, but dating isn’t what it used to be. So I stopped looking to focus on raising my daughter. When a gorgeous woman brings in an adorable pup, she changes my plan. Azalea is curvy, sexy, and I want to examine every inch of her. Can I convince her that she’s enough?
I thought this was an okay read. This is the second book in a row I've read where the woman couldn't have children and I found this one a little less interesting. I thought the entire story was just okay, nothing I would go out of my way to read again.
This was an awesome quick read. There was an instant attraction between Ken and Azalea and Emily was a sweetheart. There were lots of emotions and some misunderstandings in this sweet fast paced read. The characters were genuine and had a sizzling chemistry. I must read! I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Azalea Sparks is an event planner. Dr. Ken Powers is a veterinarian. But Ken and Azalea both love family. Azalea would love to have a child and is exploring options. Ken would love to find a special someone who could love him and his wonderful daughter, Emily.
At the current puppy-themed baby shower that she is setting up, one of her employees is in a panic. The event is in 40 minutes, but the puppies have ruined their outfits. She sends Sherry off to buy the biggest flashy bows she can find while she cleans the puppies up and gets things finished up. Everything was going perfectly until someone in a panic said she thought a puppy just ate a chocolate cupcake! Azalea takes the puppy to the nearest animal hospital. A sweet little girl asks her the puppy’s name, but she doesn’t know. So the girl suggests “Sunflower” because the puppy is golden like the sun and pretty as a flower. They join each other playing with blocks on the table as Azalea waits. By the time the vet comes out to talk to her, Azalea and Emily are the best of friends.
The next day, when Azalea is picking up the puppy, Ken slips his phone number in the collar, hoping she will see it and call him. But she sees him as perfect for her in every way -- and someone she does not deserve. Will they find a way to get together and claim their HEA? Or will they both remain quiet and let the chance for love and happiness just pass them by?

Fix Me Up with the Girl Dad by Scarlett Woods is part of the multi-author Girl Dad series. This is a charming and sweet romance story. Actually it reminded me of a Hallmark movie that you watch on a rainy afternoon. The story is about Azalea Sparks, an event planner who owns Events 4 U, and Dr. Ken Powers, a veterinarian who owns the Swell Animal Hospital. They meet when Azalea rushes a puppy to the hospital because it is believed he ate a chocolate cupcake. The puppy actually belongs to a client who was in the middle of a baby shower, both for the woman/client who is pregnant but also for her new puppies. While Azalea is waiting there is a young girl building a tower with blocks who starts chatting with her. She is a cute and sweet girl named Emily and they hit it off chatting away and building together. But the big connection is between Azalea and Ken who both feel a spark of chemistry between them. As it turns out Ken is Emily's father so there is a package deal. But both Ken and Azalea have baggage which initially stops them from pursuing anything and then when they do finally there is more than one misunderstanding that stops them for a while. But in the end Azalea and Ben, and also Emily, make a very happy family.

Trigger warnings Infertility issue
Azalea is an event planner. Ken is a veterinarian. They meet because she has to rush a puppy to his clinic that are chocolate during one of the parties she planned. In the waiting room is a cute little girl who engages in conversation with her. That girl is Ken's daughter. Then there's a date, followed by adult time. Then the fight. Who's going to fix it?
There was one confusing sentence where it appeared the PoV changed and the switched right back. Then he calls his daughter by the name of the mfc. It was a good story. It just really needed to be read through again. Also, I liked how the author addressed the fertility issue without magically fixing it, but also not saying exactly what was wrong. That made it more relatable.
This a cute fast paced easy read with wonderful characters giving great advise to both Ken and Azalea. and eight-year Emily is Ken 8-year-old daughter wanting a mommy and gives her dad Ken who a veterinarian advise about to convince Azalea who is an event planner to be a part of their family. Azalea is at one of her events when one of the puppies eats a chocolate cupcake and she take the puppy to the nearest veterinarian and meets Emily and her dad Ken. Ken is smitten with Azalea and Emily takes to her very easily.
This novella moved rather fast and ended before it began. Loved it looking forward to reading the remaining books in the daddy girl book series.

Love it - The Vet and The Planner. This is about Azalea and Ken. Azalea is working on an event and one of the puppies ate chocolate, so she had to rush him to the vet. Ken has a daughter, Emily, who keeps her entertained while her daddy looks over the puppy that they both decided to name Sunflower. When Dr. Ken comes out he enjoys seeing his daughter so captivated with Azalea and when they shake hands the sparks are there!
The next day she goes to pick up the puppy to return to her client and he slips her his number for a date. Well after having a great date a secret comes out that can destroy everything - can this work out for them?

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Fix me up with the girl dad is a novella in the ‘’girl dad’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I loved the bond Azalea had with Emily. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
This is my first book by Ms. Scarlett and I really liked her writing style. I thought that this was really sweet book. Azalea and Ken were a great couple. These two were drawn to each other and stop their feelings from growing very fast and unexpectedly. A misunderstanding forces these two apart but these two can't stay away for long and they make their way back to each other and have a really sweet HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

This was such a good book. Brings a tear to your eyes knowing there are so many women and couples who have difficulties having children. Azalea wants children but couldn't. She's a professional events planner and at one of her parties a puppy needed a vet. Enters Ken and his daughter, Emily She plays with her while Dad takes care of the puppy. The adults ended up on a date...You'll have to read the book to see what happens. It's soooo good!! :)
Azalea is a party planner who has always wanted children. Ken is a veterinarian and the single dad of Emily. Azalea and Ken meet when an event she is holding ends up with a sick dog. This was a quick but enjoyable story. I adored all three characters. This is an insta-love romance. There is one scene that may offend some but it isn't very graphic in nature just a quick sexy one. That being said, I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18.
This is a first time read from this author for me and I really enjoyed it!!! Azalea, Ken and the ever sassy Emily are the main characters in this fantastic short read. The plot line was very well done and the meet-cute was adorable. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Another fabulous addition to the Girl Dad series. However it's yet another book in this series that requires you to sign up for a newsletter in order to get the last chapter of the book.
Completely safe and free of abuse and cheating. No ow/om drama, no others after meeting, celibate hero and heroine. A very Happily Ever After
This was a cute single dad story. I liked Ken and Azalea together they had really good chemistry. I also liked that this story was linked to other Scarlett Woods books I like books that are interconnected like that. A good short read.
This quick read had some really sweet moments and flowed well. The characters were likeable and had believable connection and chemistry. Their journey had a few bumps but they finally got to their HEA.
