View the world through the eyes of an odd boy and his forever companion who see things very differently, and follow a couple as they make a few improvised explosives to get back at a pet store. The result is the Spot and Smudge series; Horror/Thriller/Genetic Engineering Sci-fi that one reviewer called "a deliciously twisted, darkly humorous tail".

Amazing
I have read six of these in the series. This one gets four stars instead of five like the rest because there were a few stories that fell flat for me. But overall, this series is amazing wonderful awesome!

I discovered the series One Paw in the Grave on Kindle Unlimited I love dogs I love mystery but these books are so much more! Robert Usual itch is such a gifted writer that I was drawn in to each story and book. Robert Udulutch is gifted with the magic vision and wonder of Ray Bradbury,The sly humor of Rod Sterling and a beautiful insight of the the human and canine soul. I found each story built on it self and the next was even better than the last. I just devoted Book One and Book Two. I read them both in marathon sessions taking them every where with me I can't wait to start Book Three. What an absolutely GREAT Writer Read Robert Uldulultch's books You'll be better for it.I think he is one of the very best writers I have encountered in years.

loved these stories
I read the first book and left a review and said I would be reading number 2 which I now have done. Again it would’ve gotten 5 stars if not for the glaring spelling mistakes I realise this is probably a trivial thing to most people but it’s important to me. When I’m reading the story and immersed in its content, that spelling mistake really spoils the flow of it and is quite disappointing. Apart from that loved these stories and might go for the next one now.

Another delight!
There are short stories you finish with an eye roll and then there are ones where you raise an eyebrow and say WTF! Robert writes the latter and very well too. There are favorites for me too. I loved Albie's story best as I did not see that ending coming!

2 down, 7 to go!
I hope you read this review, and I really hope you will read this totally Awesome series. Bought 1 to start, just finished the 2nd, and I've already got the rest of them in my library. I'll sleep next week, (I've been up most nights this week.) 5 stars just aren't really enough.

And I thought I didn't like short stories.
Such fun. I am a dog lover and it's really easy to become an observer of these worlds R.U creates
It's like a Westworld experience in Book form.
And I named my dog Smudge.

most short story collection are not that good but all these stories ae winners

Love the short stories wish some would be a full length book, would love to see some backstory on some of those.
