But Baba Yaga will do some recruiting of her own, nabbing a steampunk inventor and a voodoo practitioner to fight ninjas, robots, and even... zombie llamas? The Monstrous Witch hunt was a wonderful read with lots of adventure and mayhem. I really enjoyed the writing and the artwork of this piece. Near the end of this comic, there is a massive plot twist that you will not expect. Baba Yaga, the main character of this comic, is a stubborn old lady who has great powers. She works in mysterious ways, always getting herself into trouble. The characters throughout the comic go back and forth with each other, but learn that if they want to succeed they will have to join sides. The action nuns I thought were a really cool idea to be introduced in a comic. With comic books, you do not see a lot of them bringing the Vatican into the plot. The transitions throughout each of the four comics of this series were smooth with a good climax at the end of each one. The pet cat that was introduced at the beginning of the comic was such a great way to add character to the madness. Overall I really enjoyed this comic and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good laugh and loves action. I would rate this comic book a 4 out of 5 stars for a couple of reasons. The first reason is because of character development. The problem that I have with the comic is with how many charters were introduced at the beginning of the comic. I love all the characters and I wish that I knew more of their backstory before they were all thrown together, but I'm sure that will be revealed in later comics. Another problem that I had with the comic is that I just personally wish there was more debate back in forth about joining sides, they seem to join sides rather quickly. Again Great comic and I can't wait to read the next one.
