I loved this book. It got me hooked from the start and kept me entertained and glued to it until the end. It was tragic and painful at times but it also gave me all the warm and cosy feels. I could very much relate to Cho and Bear for losing track of each other in their long relationship. It’s quite an effort to always keep working on a relationship, not taking the other person for granted, and not drown in your daily routine. They were dramatic but that’s what you do when you see your relationship turn into a mess.
I loved that their bond was strong enough to wade through a valley of tears and how much stronger and better they came out of it. At times I wasn’t sure they would make it.
The only thing that interrupted my reading flow slightly was the smut. Honestly, I just don’t care about it so much anymore and on top of that the (fan translation) felt a bit wonky so I mostly skimmed them.
Anyway, I had a wonderful time. And I haven’t finished a book in a single day in ages.
Now that I’m done with it I’m even more eager to see the live action version in its full glory.
