This book opens by explaining well whatbthe renal diet is. The author also looks at what the kidneys do and how ckd affects them and what the diet works on. There are diagrams pf the kidneys which help the author make her point. Then we move into the recipes. As expected they are low in sodium, phosphorus and potassium. There is also a 4 week meal plan that includes 3.meals and 1 snack per day. Overall, I thought this book was well done.
