Ridmark has liberated Cintarra from the dark legions of the Heptarchy. But the Heralds of Ruin now march upon Cathair Kaldran, which holds a source of unimaginable power.
And if the Heralds claim that power, countless worlds will burn to ashes.
To defeat them, Ridmark must take up a weapon that might consume him.
Once again he must wield the Sword of the Dragon Knight...
Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
So we come to the end of one of the greatest character that ever lived Ridmark The Dragon Knight. It has been a pleasure to have read these amazing stories. The journey you get pulled in every read. All I can say is Thank you Jonathan Moeller for the wonderful stories. For all the great characters in every read. Damn fine job Sir!!!!
The Warden is dead at last! The way he was killed was cool too, and further proved why his plan to reshape the cosmos was utter folly.
There were parts in this book that repeated information from previous books, and it was a little tedious. But given how long the Dragontiarna series is, it was probably a good idea to repeat the information.
The shadow of Rhoanna’s future self going back in time to warn/guide Ridmark was a little odd (it has been odd in previous books too), and felt a little bit like cheating. But Jonathan Moeller made sure it was very clear why she was able to do it, which was good.
One question I have is why were Rosalynn and Aelianna able to create shadow wings and fly with their dark soulblades during the final battle? I thought that power was specific to the dark soulblade Ricatus carried. If the dark soulblades can all do the same things as each other, then shouldn’t they all have been able to create the armor of the Blood Knight, and control others? Or were the shadow wings unlocked when the full power of the dark soulblades was unlocked?
Hooked like a carp! 😁 Incredible, masterful story telling from Mr. Moeller. It needed to be, for a fan to stay with a series 37 books later. Bought the first Dragonskull book, straight after I finished the last Dragontiarna.
Wow, what a great book to finish this series. More epic battles, lots of action. It was wonderful. I am sad that the adventures of Ridmark and his friends have come to an end but have enjoyed every minute of them
Jonathan Moeller writes another excellent book and ties up the ending quite well o I'll have to admit. Especially the final major battle. One of which was the ending of a traitor to the realm and one was a woman who was power hungry and wanted revenge on Ridmark for wellkilling of her father earlier. Their was some who had babies and even one friend and ally That stayed in the Frankish realm due to finally finding love. But all in all a great read.
A great ending to the series. Rid ark fights with his friends as he once again becomes the dragon knight in order to stop the heralds of ruin. All the different kingdoms of man come to the defense of Cathiar Kaplan to stop the heptarchy from getting into the tower of the ascendant dragon. It will be interesting to see if there are any more stories of Rid ark Seven and his friends
I absolutely loved this series. Jonathan Moeller spins tales of magic, dragons, dwarves and elves. They all help the champions of humanity fight against the evils of every planet. The characters come to life and you find yourself rooting for them, and humbled by their amazing personalities. I shed tears of joy for the characters when they find love and families. I highly reccomend every book Jonathan has written.
Jonathan can always surprise me even after all the books of him I have read. Epic fantasy it has it all a fitting ending. He knows about keeping his fans interested and does not disappoint he will be already working hard on a new book in one of his other series of books.
I have grown to love and /or respect Ridmark and his friends and the stories of their lives. Him saying goodbye to Third in this last book broke my heart but that’s the emotional investment one gets in reading this and the other Ridmark-centric book series.
Absolutely stunning end to this fantastic series. The battle scenes are epic and rival Game of Thrones easily. I highly recommend this series to any fans of science fantasy. Thankyou Jonathon Moeller for your amazing imagination.
I have read the entire series from the beginning and loved every tale. What a joy to read an ending so well-wrought. Thanks to Jonathan Moeller for bring Ridmark and Third and so many others into my life. Worth every penny, and I am grateful. Time to begin again.
This book was a fun read and had a lot of errors. The characters and plot have developed well over this series and I hope the author writes more. The book seemed rushed at times and the plot was predictable.
This is the final chapter of the series and I have enjoyed reading about Ridmark and his friends all through this and the other two series. This book does not fail to entertain as there are twists and turns, battles and stories a plenty to be told and enjoyed.
Ridmark has become a favorite character of mine and my wife. I have to say that his adventures have been amazing reminding me of the Belgariad and other books by David Eddings. Looking forward to the new series set in Andomhaim
The storyline grabs you from the start and keeps moving on. Ridmark Aban is a really good character. Unfortunately the transcription from print to ebook leaves a lot to be desired. But over two series the group come together like a well drilled team.
Great reading, but in the last 2 or 3 books in the series, there happen to be quite a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, I also noticed that some of the named weapons had changed hands. On the whole, very good reading
Brilliant ending to a magnificent series. Incredible action scenes edge of the seat stuff. Really enjoyed the whole series and this finale was the best of the lot. Definitely recommend
