Kaah Maah has found his home in Deadend. He has a job he loves, a community he feels part of, people he cares about… and Jodi. When he crosses paths with Abby Da’Tweet, head of the Da’Tweet flock of powerful witches, things start to go awry. Children start vanishing, and Rork, his goblin assistant and best friend, is being framed. Can he work out who is the puppet master before Rork pays the ultimate price?Or will it be a case of biting the hand that feeds him?
Dzintra is an Australian author, living in Queensland, Australia, where the weather is always warm and sunny. She writes a perfect blend of drama, comedy and romance all mixed up in a paranormal/fantasy mash up. Her characters are addictive and her books fresh and new. Her favourite thing to do is to take beliefs aand characters you think you know and turn them upside down. Take a chance, you won't regret it.
Another terrific book by this author but this time there are some witches sweeping in to mix things up and make things very interesting.
Kaah has his work cut out for him in this book and I honestly found it difficult to see how things could be solved! The twists and turns in this story truly make it totally unpredictable, something I love in a book. This is quite a fast paced story with heaps of drama and action so there’s never a dull moment.
Be warned:—nothing is as it seems, anything could happen and a lot does happen! (I feel I should be rubbing my hands with glee because it is so good) Also, there are some very fragile moments, it’s okay it’s sorted, but wow, they pull out every emotion.
As usual the sense of humour throughout the book is fantastic and I found myself laughing out loud quite often, this balances the more series elements well.
I couldn’t hazard what Kaah and Rork will get up to in his next book but if it’s anything like this one I am ready!
Kaah is Back. This time, he's dealing with trouble on several fronts.
Kaah, our favorite Grim Reaper, is trying to retire. It isn't going according to plan. Then, there's those pesky witches in Deathwick, an idiot apprentice, and trouble with the oversight committee chair, Hans. All the while, troubles abound at home as his goblin assistant becomes a suspect in a string of brutal murders. I won't even mention his burgeoning romance. The author does a great job with all the above; weaving serious situations with dark humor. This is the third installment of Ms. Sullivan's unique presentation of the reaper.
I advise getting off your bum and getting the first two before tackling the well-written story of Witches of Deathwick.
Kaah has a big problem. Kids are being kidnapped and the UPO are trying to blame Rork. I love Dzintra Sullivan's books. Her imagination is a quirky ride to the unique and unusual universe. You always know that you'll find a mystery wrapped in there somewhere. But you also find a little humor and maybe a touch of romance! Can't wait for the next installment of Kaah's books!!
Kaah does it this time. He tries his luck. Will he lose his friends, because he has to push things to the limit? He pokes a powerful witch will he live to tell the tail? Get ready to laugh, cringe and hope for the best.
