From Moni Boyce comes a fling to forever romance packed with redemption, heat and happily ever after.
Her whole life, Lexie Campbell has played by the rules and lived up to everyone else’s expectations, never once stepping out of her comfort zone or putting her needs or wants first.
Divorced and ready for a little excitement in her life, she makes a playful bet to kiss the next guy who walks into the bar where she’s out on the town with her girlfriends. She wasn’t expecting that guy to be bad boy Erza Benedict himself.
Ezra has a reputation. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, he’s never been able to outrun his troublesome past no matter how hard he works to redeem himself. As far as relationships go? Lexie is so far out of his league, but that doesn’t stop him from wanting more than one kiss or a one-night stand.
When Lexie comes back into his life by grand design and hires him to landscape the homes she has listed on the market, Ezra knows this is his shot. Unlike their one night together before, Ezra won’t settle for hiding their relationship for long. Together they’ll have to learn to forget everyone else's expectations and live (and love) for themselves.
Welcome to Oak Bend, where these blue-collar hotties work hard and love even harder, especially when it comes to landing their happily ever after.

I liked this story a lot! My heart shattered a time or two for Ezra but when his sister was there for him, it spoke volumes. I'm thrilled that Lexi got out of her own way. I hope Ox gets a story!
Why did it bother me so damn much if he'd moved on?
Lexie is recently divorced and her ex is already engaged. Ezra is the former boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Lexie makes a pact with her friends to kiss the next man that walks into the Rox. Of course, it is hunky landscaper Ezra. What begins as a friendly fling becomes a hot and heavy relationship.
Lexie and Ezra are such a great couple with wonderful chemistry. I was so happy when Lexie acknowledged her true feelings for him. Ezra has always felt like he didn't deserve a woman like Lexie. Their road to a HEA is long and twisty but they do eventually get there.
Moni Boyce is one of my favorite authors for contemporary romance. She writes wonderfully relatable couples in believable situations. I always enjoy seeing the playlist she includes as the muse to her writing. I find myself humming along to the scenes that I think the music fits.
This is the last segment of the Blue Collar Romance series. I have so enjoyed my visits to Oak Bend. There are a number of secondary characters that I hope to see pop up in books of their own.
I look forward to seeing what is up next from Moni.
*ARC received from author in exchange for my honest review. *
The Blue Collar Romance Series has come to an end with More Than Enough by Moni Boyce, and it couldn't have been a better story to end this series on. This book was full of more emotion and raw feelings than the previous books. That really set the tone for me going forward with this book in such a good way. There is nothing I love more than being surprised but a story.
Ezra & Lexie both had things from their past that they didn't want following them into their future. As their one-night stand turns into more hookups and then eventually more we really see their insecurities coming out. Lexie had been through it with her ex-husband and with a mother who always expected her to marry the next rich man she meets it was almost impossible for her to really determine what it was she wanted. Ezra helped show her that what she wanted and who she was what really mattered but Ezra had his only family issues he was dealing with. Being the former bad boy, it is hard to overcome the past everyone sees you for but with Lexie he never felt like that guy. He just felt like a man who was falling in love with the beautiful, good girl in town.
The further I got into this story the more I loved it and Moni Boyce gave us such a beautiful story of what happens when love smacks you in the face when you least expect it.
4 star reviews More Than Enough (Blue Collar Romance #8)by Moni Boyce
It was great to be back in Oak Bend for More Than Enough which I believe is the last book in the Blue Collar series. I have enjoyed finding these new authors and will be checking out their other works as time permits.
Lexie Campbell and Ezra Benedict could not be more different, born on opposite sides of the tracks, Ezra knows that Lexie is too good for him. When a dare has Lexie kissing Ezra she sets a chain of events in play that will change their lives in ways neither of them expected. A one night stand suddenly morphs into more secret assignations and with that comes more complications.
Both Lexie and Ezra have baggage and it impacts on their blossoming relationship. More Than Enough was an emotional roller coaster of a read at times and you could feel the angst and tension as you are reading. I got a little frustrated with Lexie, she didn’t appear to know what or who she wanted. Ezra on the other hand has built himself up from nothing and I admired him.
It was well written with characters who you cannot help but be drawn to and was a fitting conclusion to the series.
Lexi and Ezra stir up emotion that is deep enough to swim in and heat, hot enough to set your senses on fire. Moni Boyce to life a tale of deep fears and fierce courage. It's broken. It's beautiful. It's frustrating. From life lessons to tough choices, More than Enough is a window into the soul. Ezra and Lexi are unforgettable.
I wanted to really like this one. I just could not get past selfish and self centered Lexie. I did however love Ezra. It took Lexie to the end of the book to realize it was herself and her desires she should please, not others. These others that judged her and others around them. She was and should have been better than that.
This was a really decent read. The reason I only gave it three stars, is because the only thing resolved from the many plot points was Ezra and Lexie's story. Why bring up the different angst's going on if you are not going to address them completely?
This is barely a story. They just have sex for the first half of this book. They don't have an actual conversation until about the 60% mark. There is an attempt at a love triangle but the other guy is quickly dismissed. Lexis has several dates with the guy but we only read about the 1st one. Ezra is a reformed bad boy, but is he? He's constantly angry and wallowing in self pity. He whines about nobody hiring his landscaping business because of his reputation but I wouldn't hire him either since he immediately begins sexually harassing Lexie when she attempts to hire him. He drinks on the job. Loses his temper constantly and trashes the yards he's working on and curses loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear. He also has a habit of treating his half sister like crap. Will never understand why authors expect me to root for a guy like that. There was no connection ever established between these 2 and the ending came suddenly with no resolution for any of the issues with the side characters. Just a poor attempt all around.
More Than Enough: A Fling to Love Romance by Moni Boyce is the eighth book in the Blue Collar Romance Series. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and Ms. Boyce gives us a sweetly sensitive story about two people who connect on a physical plane but find that they are compatible romantically and spiritually. Lexie Campbell always does the expected; she was a good daughter, a dedicated student and a great wife. She has an overbearing and dismissive mother and just divorced an uncaring husband. She is ready for some changes in her life. Erza Benedict has a reputation as a bad boy and town outcast; he is struggling to get his lawn business up and running and is alienated from his autocratic, callous father. The only family he is close to is his younger half-sister; she is determined to be a part of his life despite the roadblocks Ezra puts up. Ezra and Lexie reconnect (they attended the same high school) when she spontaneously kisses him at a bar. Their chemistry is undeniable but neither one is looking for anything permanent or real…. too bad their hearts didn’t get the message! On the surface, Ezra and Lexie have little in common…she is the strait-laced daughter of a well to do couple, while Ezra’s mother was an alcoholic and his influential father has nothing to do with him. Will this sweet couple allow their differences and the opinion of others to smother the love that is growing between them? And who says that a fling won’t fling them into love? I love the message of this story: You are more than enough, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Stephannie's 4 Star Review: Lexie Campbell has always been the good girl, the good daughter, the good student, and a good wife. But where did that get her? Nowhere. She has an overbearing and dismissive mother and just divorced an uncaring husband. She is tired of being good because it is expected of her because she isn't happy. She is ready for a little change in her life. Ezra Benedict has always been known as the bad boy and town outcast. He is a grown adult now who is struggling to get his lawn business up and running because of his teen stigma as being a bad boy aka trouble. He is still trying to deal with his callous father. He has a half-sister that is 14 yrs old who inserts herself into his life; if he likes it or not. When Ezra and Lexie reconnect after a kiss at the bar. They have hot, undeniable chemistry and give into one night. What happens when one night turns into a no-strings-attached secret hook-up? Can Lexie give in to her feelings and set aside that people might talk if she pursued a relationship with the reformed bad boy? Will Erza want more than being Lexie's dirty little secret? I really enjoyed reading this story about two opposite who attract. I loved the growth of the characters and I fell for them and was rooting for a HEA for them. One-click this one today!
I have enjoyed reading the Blue Collar Romance series so I was excited to read this one by Moni Boyce. Boy, was I disappointed. The main characters were awful. Lexie (h) was so concerned about NOT being with someone that her parents had picked out, that she had no regards for Ezra (H). The only thing she thought was that she had been divorced, she the right to have some fun - regardless of how she treated anyone else. Her mother didn't care about Lexie's feelings either. She cared about appearences only and Ezra didn't measure up. Lexie was too weak to stand up to her mother and defend Ezra. Her father was also too weak to stand up to the mother. Lexie's friends are proud of her forhaving sex with Ezra but for having dinner with Robert, someone her mother approves of. Ezra is doing the best he can given his background and he is good to his half sister, but other than that, he has no backbone. Ezra's sister and his best friend were the only redeeming people in the story. The story also didn't finished. Ox was supposed to be Ezra's best friend. His mother is dying and he is having a hard time with her illness. At one point, Ezra does realize that he needs to be a better friend to Ox. The epilogue takes place a few months later. Ox and Ezra talk, but there is no mention of his mom. It just seemed unfinished.
This is the final book in the “Blue Collar Romance Series, and I must say that have enjoyed this series. This is a sweet romance with its set of drama and happiness.
Lexie Campbell is divorced from her high school boy Daniel. Daniel is marrying again. Lexi is ready for some excitement in her good girl life. She and her friends are out at a bar; she makes a bet with her friends that the next guy that walks thru the door, she will kiss him. Erza Benedict is the alpha bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks and has made a name for himself around town. Erza is the guy who walks thru the door and Lexi kisses him and Erza kisses her right back. Erza has had a crush on Lexi since high school now he gets a kiss which turns into a one-night stand. Erza and Lexi have family issues. Erza is the product from a first marriage and he and his father are at odds, Lexi is from a prominent family, and she is expected to do all the right things and not end up with bad boy Erza.
This was great read and even with the obstacles in Erza and Lexi way the two are great together and they forge ahead.
Will Erza ever have a productive relationship with his father, will Lexi’s parents let her be?
I received an ARC via Bookfunnel from the Author Moni Boyce, and I am leaving review voluntarily.
More Than Enough The perfect end to a great series. I loved the characters of Ezra and Lexie. Lexie the good girl always doing what is expected of her. After her divorce she wanted to do something crazy and fun after being out with her friends and a few drinks Lexie did something so out of character and kissed the next man that walked in the door of the bar where she and her friends were hanging out. Ezra the bad boy who actually had a thing for Lexie in high school but never had a chance. What started out as a one night of fun eventually turned into a secret affair. Ezra had a lot of issues still being perceived as the bad boy although he was a struggling business owner and trying to build a future. Ezra non-relationship with his father kept him from feeling he was good enough and Lexie not wanting to share their relationship only added to him this perception he was not enough. Lexie wanted to be with Ezra but continued to fear disappointing her parents. There were a few things that I would have liked to see explored like the issues with Ezra and his father or Lexie need to please others but overall I loved this couple and how they resolved their issues and came together I hated to see it end.
The Blue-Collar romance series comes to an end. Lexi and Ezra are a great couple despite the social differences they face. He has been the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. She is a Black lawyer's daughter--always doing the "right" thing to please others. Her "perfect" husband divorces her to marry the other woman. Lexi and Ezra meet again when she decides to be daring and kisses him in a bar. What starts as sex turns into a lot more. She is dogged by a nasty mother who wants her to have a picture book life. She married the ex because mom thought they looked good. Ezra is the son of a first marriage who hates his father for breaking his mother and having another family in town whom he dotes on. They carry all their doubts into the relationship that forms. She finally makes a dramatic statement! The book is sweet and sexy, as well as funny. There is a lot of angst, but we know they will be okay in the end. Mona Boyce writes with ease and grace about these two beautiful souls. I received an advanced review copy from the author/publisher and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Lexie is a good girl, always has been. When she gets drunk at the local club, she promises her two besties that she's going to kiss the next guy who walks through the door. That guy is Ezra Benedict, the bad boy she knew in high school. A kiss leads to a one night stand, which leads to a fling. When feelings get involved, she is still worried about what others will think. It's a small town. People gossip. When she finally realizes she loves him, will it be too late? This book is fantastic. It's more than opposites attract, it is two people who don't feel like they are good enough being more than enough for each other. Their HEA is beautifully written, as is the rest of the story. Set in Oak Bend with the rest of the series, this one stands out, maybe because I actually teared up at the end. The whole series is gold, and this book is the perfect endcap. It's that good, and well worth the one click. While it can stand alone, do yourself a favor and read the whole series.

OMG! I absolutely loved this story!! Lexi Campbell has always been the good girl, following the rules and making sure she was doing everything that made everyone else happy. Including her judgmental mother. Four months after her divorce from Daniel she sees the announcement of his wedding to the hussy he was with while still married to Lexi. Her girlfriends talk her into going out to the bar. As soon as she arrives she’s ordering shots of tequila and makes a bet with her friends that she is going to kiss the next man that walks into the bar. Little did she know it would be the bad boy of town. Chemistry is off the charts with Ezra Benedict. They decided they will continue to sleep with one another but to keep it quiet. But can that continue as they get to know one another, no one likes to be someone’s dirty little secret. Can it work out and have a future and not worry about the rest of the town thinks. You will have to read to find out. Absolutely love the characters!! I received this advanced readers copy for my honest review
From beginning to end I was hooked and more so because of so much drama already! I felt giddy with the idea of Lexi meeting someone and quickly make babies. My vision wasn’t quite what happened but I still felt giddy for Lexi.
Although loving Lexi from the beginning quickly turned into disappointment and hurt. I felt so much hurt for the way she was being and I get at the time things didn’t seem hurtful but my goodness. Maybe it’s the fact that she’s not really dated much but I was pretty upset with all the dates she was going on.
I really loved Ezra from the beginning and while I truly think he has an anger issue, his feelings started to show very early. I loved witnessing his tender side with his sister but that anger got in the way of some important moments that could’ve been resolved differently.
I wanted so many things to happen there at the end but that’s my hopeless romantic side screaming through. I also kept wanting more and more of these characters but what I read was pretty good!
This is my favorite of the Blue Collar Romance series. I love this series and that each book is a standalone. With each book I meet new characters in the wonderful setting of Oak Bend. Check out this entire series. Every author did a great job of writing a book set in Oak Bend. They can be read in any order and share the story of two new characters in each book.
Lexie and Ezra (love that name) knew each other in high school. Lexie was the perfect student while Ezra was known as the bad boy. They never got together; they were not even really friends. Now Lexie is back in Oak Bend and Ezra has caught her attention. Their one-night stand was hot, steamy, and so sexy. I knew instantly that one night would not be enough for them. I loved how careful they were with each other, how respectful they were, and how they both wanted more but did not know how to put themselves out there and ask for it. Moni Boyce, the author, did a great job of letting their emotions show while also keeping them true to themselves.
The Blue Collar Romance Series is a collection of 8 novels featuring blue collar hard workers, cozy towns, and happy ever afters. Wonderful stories by different authors, yet similar blue collar love vibes.
In More Than Enough by Moni Boyce, Lexie decides to let loose and uncharacteristically kisses a random guy at a bar. But it turns out that the random guy is the town’s bad boy, Ezra. Their chemistry is off the charts and the kiss leads into a full on fling. Ezra knows Lexie is out of his league, but could this fling lead to something more?
Gotta love a fling to lovers romance - Moni writes a great story that really had Ezra’s character tugging at my heartstrings. This final book in the Blue Collar Romance series is a satisfying HEA that had me cheering for these two to find their forever. Highly recommend!
*I have received a free ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.*
Poor Lexie, she's always done what's expected of her but at the end of the day, it's done her no favors. She's divorced from a terrible husband, and her mother is no picnic either, so maybe it's time for her to let her hair down for once. That's what her friends think as well so they all go out, and Lexie engages in a bet that she'll kiss the next guy who walks into the bar that night, and thank goodness for that because she needed something exciting in her life. It just so happens that guy is Ezra, a bad boy who can't seem to get away from his past when he was younger. I totally got his frustration, but he did make some questionable decisions in my eyes that showed he wasn't all changed but that's just me. They hook up and it's hot but while he knows that she's too good for him, he still wants more than a secret fling with her but will she move out of her normal comfort zone and live her own life the way she wants to?! Well you know what to do to find out as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Lexie Married her high school boyfriend and now he is getting married again. Lexie is not sorry her and Daniel are not together anymore. Her ex was not the right man for her. He looked like the right guy on paper and her mom was thrilled with her marriage but he was not It.
Lexie and her friends were sitting at the bar when Lexie says she is going to kiss the next guy that walks in. She had no idea she would be kissing the bad boy from high school.
That kiss leads them to a one night stand that doesn’t want to end. Lexie is worried about her reputation and keeps their Fling on the down low. Ezra is a good man working at building a business of his own. He has nothing to hide.
Can these two find a happy place?
I really liked the story and how well it flowed. The characters were excellent and I will definitely be looking for more books by this author. This was my first time reading one of her books. I really enjoyed this book.
These Blue Collar books just keep getting better and better! Each time I read a new one I think it's my favorite, then the next one comes along and I fall in love with that one. This is the eight and final book of the series, and while I am disappointed there will be no more books, it was a great story to end with. I have also enjoyed finding so many great new authors through this series. Ezra's and Lexie both have things from their past they would like to leave there, and as they begin to grow closer, their insecurities start to come out. You could really feel the raw emotions of the characters as they faced their long, bumpy journey to get to their happy ending. Their chemistry was undeniable and they were both wonderful characters. This was quite an emotional read, and I was engaged till the very end. A beautiful story!
I received a complimentary advanced reader's copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Amazing book, and another great story by Moni. This last book in the Blue Collar Romance series was a perfect last book with that bad boy/good girl trope!
These two were such a hot couple! They are fire together! I enjoy how motivated Lexie was to jump out of her comfort zone and into a one night stand! I was cheering for her! She’s the goody two shoes in town and Ezra is the town bad boy with trouble shaking off the stigma. I also enjoy when the characters start something casual thinking they can control it, and then it rages out of control! My emotions went for a little bit of a ride there, and I teared up a little when Lexie wouldn’t stand up and fight. But boy Ezra was definitely worth catching!
This is one book I’d love to read more of. I read this in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. I’d recommend this to everyone, it’s just that good!
Lexie has always tried to meet the high expectations that people in her life have set for her and has always felt like she hasn’t measured up. Still reeling from her divorce, she decides to have a girls night out however she never expected that one kiss would lead to a steamy night with Ezra that she can’t forget.
Ezra’s upbringing led to a difficult past that he is trying to overcome as he is determined to forge his own path and that includes starting his own business. When Lexie needs his landscaping skills he is determined to show her that one night was not enough.
Although Lexie and Ezra appear to be very different they have more in common than even they realize. They had some challenges to overcome but I enjoyed seeing them open their hearts and their pasts to each other so that they could help each other heal.
Lexie has done the right thing her whole life. Had the right friends. Dated & married the right guy. Listened to her mother telling her what was proper & what the neighbors might think. She even married the " perfect " guy. But what are you to do when life shows you it isn't perfect? You pick up the pieces & move on. You slowly reclaim the life you want not should accept. Ezra has had life kick him in the teeth constantly. But he knows he deserves better. He just isn't sure how long he will have to wait. The odds of the former high school misfit & miss goodie two shoes connecting are low. Yet when they connect sprays fly & you the reader are in for a heartfelt love story. Life isn't easy & it can be messy. This is a great story of two people trying to find there way. Enjoyable. ❤
4.5 Stars for More Than Enough ( Blue Collar Romance #8) I love my visits to Oak Bend and this time it’s Lexie Campbell and Ezra Benedict’s story. This is a journey about a unexpected relationship from two people who come from very different worlds, in his heart Ezra believes he will never be good enough for the woman who haunts his dreams.but a dare has Lexie kissing Ezra and that’s when things get interesting who knew one kiss would lead to one night that in turn changes this couples life. This is an emotional read, both Lexie and Ezra have plenty of baggage, it’s a journey with secrets but it also has plenty of love and passion as well as the perfect amount of angst and drama. I think this is a great addition to the series and I do believe this is the final book and for me this was a perfect end to the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I enjoyed that the book was written in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse from both protagonists really helps me to connect with them.
These two has some major issues. Both wonder why that are "enough" for some very important people in their lives. For Erza, it is his father. He left when Erza was 8 and almost immediately started another family. Those kids he adorable not Erza. With Lexie it is her ex-husband. At one point though, Lexie admitted to marrying him and not being in love. Really what did she expect?
I didn't care for the plot. I think it could have been much better. I am not into two people just "hooking" up which this was for the most part. There is a great deal of sex and some cussing as well.
This book may appeal to some but it just didn't resonate with me.
This was a wonderful, sweet and fast read for me. I really enjoyed the storyline and loved the characters. As soon as I started reading I was pulled into everything that was going on and couldn't wait to find out how everything was going to work out. Lexie is a rule follower and not one to go out and let loose and have a one night stand, however with news of her ex's engagement she decides that she deserves a night to be carefree. Ezra is getting frustrated with rejection after rejection when it comes to turning his life around and just happens to walk in the door at the right moment. What happens when 2 opposites with intense attraction and chemistry collide? Well, one click this book ASAP and find out! I promise, you won't be disappointed.
More Then Enough is such a good read! I really liked it how the women was the one that had to make amends.
Lexi is the good girl who always wants people to see her as the nice one, she always puts appearances first instead of herself. Ezra a hard working man who is trying to make a go of his business but everyone is always comparing him to his past.
These two come together one night that leads to a hot, steamy night they both enjoy and then they start making it a regular thing and then one thing leads to another and a HEA happens. But before they get their HEA there are some bumps along the way and that makes this such a good book.
The Blue Collar Series keeps getting better and better with each book.
Darling Lexi Campbell was raised by two loving middle class parents in the right neighborhood an was expected to want an do the right things in life in Oak Bend, Michigan. After hearing her recently ex husband has announced his divorce in the local newspaper. Lexi goes to the local bar with her girls. After drinking one too many Lexi said she was going to kiss the next man that walks in the door in a daring red dress. Lawd, it’s “bad boy Ezra Benedict. Bad Boy has turned into a alpha hot male species who is an entrepreneur of his own business. After a one night of his high school fantasy, Ezra wants more an so does Lexi. This was an ARC an it was smoking, fast paced an a great romance. Throughly enjoyed the Blue Collar Series.
