I received this book in return for an honest review.
I am a retired clinical psychologist- no longer practicing but fortunate to know the author of Simple Sleep Solutions. I won't render a professional review of his book because, frankly, it does not merit such review. Rather, it should be evaluated as one might the contribution of a lay person in a personal growth group. Viewed as such, JP's solutions to his problems of insomnia are highly creative, well systematized and thoughtfully presented. His Solutions are unlikely to be just what the doctor ordered for other insomniacs but they would surely provide inspiration as they work on their own.
I also like his work because, recognizing its limitations, he buttresses it with numerous references as well as short pieces by professionals.
