As it is the last one I’m worried about saying too much.
It delivers everything you expect from the series and a little bit extra.
Filice excels at description and she’s honestly just getting better and better!

Along with all the things that must happen. SV delivers us some awesome surprises and our characters get more than they bargained for. Some of it is good and some is daunting for our heroes!

And when Calix hits balance. Hehe maybe a little spoiler but that was awesome!

And now you can grab the whole series to binge it!

Note: I received an early copy in exchange for an honest review. But I also bought my copy so I can have my set in my kindle collection!

The Resurrection is an excellent finale to S.V. Filice’s Moral Bloodlines series. In Book 2, as I commented in the review for that book, there is a lull of sorts to battle and chaos, permitting extensive character development and foreshadowing. Book 3, The Resurrection, focuses on the final battle between Caradoc (and his darklings) and the side of good (Descendents). I feel like the entire series has been building up to this climactic moment.

S.V. Filice delivers an excellent battle sequence that left me on the edge of my seat. She excels at describing action and immersing the reader in these martial struggles. There were moments when I was like….”OMG,” for lack of a better phrase. Also, after this main battle, there are tense moments as people recover from the aftermath. What a fun and engaging read!

What a wonderful finish for a wonderful story! I had the opportunity to be a beta reader for the author, and immediately loved The Resurrection. The final installment in S.V. Filice's urban fantasy trilogy delivers in spades. It was a bittersweet to read the final pages, knowing it is the end of Isabelle Lofflin's journey, but excited to read more incredible books from the author. Kudos!

"Our frustration shows traces in our temper, exhaustion, and collected doubt, but we must call light when we feel our hope slip. I try to hold on and forget the negative emotions that continue to push past." - Chapter 1 🔥

These sentences in Chapter 1 set the tone for the story that unfolded. It helped me relate to Isabelle Lofflin in a deeper sense, one that's hard for me in a genre that I don't read often. But Isabelle grabbed my attention, she made me feel for her, see her, and relate to her experiences even though they are much different than my own. That's the power of S.V. Filice's words. She can move anyone with a single sentence. 🩷 It was an honor to follow Isabelle's journey. She's a powerful female warrior!

The third book in the Moral Bloodlines series, "Resurrection" offers an exciting conclusion to the end of the trilogy. I did find the pacing to be very slow for the first half of the book, but once our heroes leave the camp and set off on their rescue mission, things start moving in a dynamic and interesting way.

There are a couple plot twists that were fun to read, and the camaraderie between the characters is as strong as ever. It's great reading about the characters' strong drive to protect each other. The main plotlines were wrapped up in a satisfying way, with the epilogue leaving it to the imagination as to where Isabella and her friends will go in the future.

Overall, a good ending to the series.

Thank you Samantha for giving me the ARC to read.

It’s a great ending to a story, this book is the third installment in the trilogy and does total justice to the story.
The story starts where it left us hanging about the tipping of the balance between light and darkness. It was interesting to read the revelation and the mystery about Belle and Calix parents.
Frankly speaking I didn’t expect these turns of events and the twists were absolutely amazing. I was also not expecting the Moral Guard revelation. I’m all for the ending, it was simply amazing. I recommend the book to everyone for reading.

What a perfect end to a wonderful trilogy. I loved how Ms Filice took us on a journey along with her characters as we see them develop and come into their own. Unavoidable tragedies occurred, but I have to say, one death was exquisitely well-done ;)

Congratulations - looking forward to reading more from this author.
