Stay for Me is the fourth and final book in 'The Arrowood Brothers' series and as excited as I was to read it, I was also sad that it was ending. I've grown to love these brothers and this family and if you're looking for a small-town romance series, I can't recommend it enough.
Jacob Arrowood is an actor and the last of the Arrowood brothers to come home to Sugarloaf. His life is in Hollywood and he has no intention of staying in the small town he's from. He's there to do his six months like his brothers before him and go back to his life. That's the plan... but everything changes when he meets Brenna.
Brenna is a widow and a single mother to two. She's moved back to her husband's hometown to be near to his parents for her children's sake. Her husband passed away a year ago and starting a new relationship is the last thing on her mind. Meeting a guy isn't even on her radar... until Jacob Arrowood comes to town.
I loved Jacob and Brenna together. Their connection and chemistry was palpable. I rooted for them to work out a way to be together, because it was obvious they belonged with one another. One of my favorite things about this book was the relationship with Jacob and Brenna's kids, specifically her son. It made my heart so happy.
If you're looking for a series with romance, friendship, a great familial storyline, and so much heart, I recommend picking up 'The Arrowood Brothers'. I've loved each and every one of these books!

Standalone Series
It’s not lost on me that the cover model in each book of this series is a sight for sore eyes. Therefore, it pains me to say that the quality of what’s inside doesn’t match its respective cover. This one in particular was... nice, if not derivative and overall mediocre. The writing failed to stir emotions because it was a story that’d been recycled countless times.
I suppose I should say that for me who don’t like the Hollywood star trope, this one didn’t bother me. Mostly because it didn’t come into play until the third act. The single mom trope which I was looking forward to didn’t do much for me. Mostly because the kids were in their pre-teens, so they already passed the cute and adorable stage.
Also, for two kids who just lost their dad, they sounded so mature and didn’t even raise a complaint about her mom and the H’s relationship. They even encouraged it because they just wanted their mom to be happy, which was sweet but also convenient. The romance was a little corny and cheesy to the point where I wanted to cringe and roll my eyes.
Come to think of it, this was basically a repeat of the 3rd book. The only difference being that the other brother was a baseball player and the H in this an actor. I preferred the love story in this mostly because it was not BFFs to lovers. However, I preferred the drama in the previous book mostly because it was more OTT compare to the one here.
I know I don’t have the most sound endorsement when it comes to this series, but don’t let it stop you from trying. It’s a good and (supposedly) emotional small town romance with warm family dynamics. It’s just not all that special or memorable. My favorite is the 1st book. I like all the tropes in there, and I think it’s the one that has the most depth.

I’m not crying, you are!
GAHH, such a bittersweet ending to this incredible series. That Corinne Michaels, I tell you what...she’s pretty much an evil genius. The Arrowood Brothers series started with a bang and with each book, I would tell myself, she can’t possibly top the last. Connor and Ellie, Declan and Sydney, then my book boyfriend Sean who topped Liam Dempsey for me.
Well..the evil genius has done it again. She’s gone and ripped my heart out with this book. Done ripped it out with that true CM fashion, you just never see it coming. What starts off a bit slow quickly builds and then BAM.
What a ride! Stay for Me is the perfect ending for this incredible journey of a series. Thank you for saving the best for last!

This book! GAH, Corinne Michaels is an absolute EVIL genius (or she's truly Elphaba and just LOVES to gut her readers' emotions before putting them back together!) Stay for Me is the looooooong anticipated last (?) book in the Arrowood Brothers series and features Jacob Arrowood, the Hollywood heartthrob, the last brother to FINALLY get his forever love....and Brenna Allen might be one of my FAVE CM heroines to date (and I ADORED her bestie Cybil, too!)
Brenna's story absolutely slayed me! It hit me so hard in the feels and I don't know why, it just did! I was a blubbering, snotty mess for a good part of the first half of this book and it's taken me a bit to wrap my head (and heart) around how to write this review!
In true Corinne Michaels fashion, the angst in this one tore my heart out....there's a twist that I DID NOT see coming that had my heart lodged in my throat for a few chapters (see above for comment on Elphaba!) The emotions, the heartbreak, the laughter, the LOVE....they're all here, in your face and I can't recommend this one highly enough!
I am so sad that this series is finished but I know Ms. Michaels will be back to torture us another day! In the meantime, you should start at the beginning with this series and read them in order to get the FULL experience of the Arrowood Brothers! Happy reading!

Oh, my God!! Stay for Me has become my favorite book in the Arrowood Brothers' series! There was always something about Jacob that was appealing from what we found out about him in the first three books, but he absolutely blew me away! Throw in a single parent, and I'm hooked!
Jacob returns to Sugarloaf to spend his six months on the family land before he leaves to go back to LA and his acting career. Brenna has just moved to Sugarloaf with her two pre-teen children after her husband died. Jacob finds himself attracted to Brenna, despite the fact that he can't stay. And Brenna can't resist Jacob with all of his kindness and selflessness.
I absolutely loved these characters~ Jacob was just such a perfect specimen of man, with his huge heart, loving nature, giving spirit. And hello, he's hot too! Brenna is just trying to keep herself together most days, while supporting her children and a new job at the school. I loved the maturity that the kids- Melanie and Sebastian- had, especially when it came to their mom. They felt her support, and in turn, supported her.
I can't wait for any bonus scenes with this group! They are some of my favorites!
Do you love single-parent romance? I do! I can’t wait

Wow. I am literally speechless. After I finished each book in the series I didn't know how she could out do the last one but Corinne has.
From the first moment we met Jacob he had my heart. With each new page he stole another piece until it was totally his.
This book pulls on the heartstrings and makes you feel. It makes you feel hope, romance and love. It will make you feel the family bonds of the Arrowood clan and the powerful words of Mama Arrowood's truths of an arrow wisdom.
Corinne will break your heart and make you weep but she knows how to mend the heart and put the pieces together again.
This was the PERFECT ending to the series. I loved the "guests" and the epilogue and the extra bonus epilogue. I want to thank Corinne for writing her heart out in the series and for sharing these amazing brothers with us.

Jacob is a movie star that has to live on the family land for six months to complete the inheritance clause. Brenna is a military widow and mom of two who moves back to Sugarloaf to give them a new start. Jacob helps Brenna's son, who is his superfan. We get to see all of the Arrowood brothers together in a beautiful ending.

Jacobs time finally came, the time he joined his brothers and found his true love in this small town they all swore they would leave the second their time was up!
And there’s no surprise when I say This story will break your heart but as always It will be healed!
Another emotional rollercoaster story from
Corinne doing what she does best giving us all the angst, all feels, tears and smiles. Laughs and sobs !
This story brought the brothers all back together and was a brilliant ending to a what’s been a truly amazing series with great characters and the exciting surprise visits from some of our favourite past characters !
One of the best things about a single parent story is it means there’s more than just two main characters, the child(ren) play a huge part just as important and getting that bond right between the non-parent character, in this instance, Jacob is priority! And Jacob and Sebastian form a father son relationship, and instant bond and understanding of trust and it really is heart warming.
Brenna and Jacob are destined for happiness but are both too unselfish to ask the other to give them their all but with a chemistry and connection too strong how can one ask the question or the other need to hear the question ‘Stay for me’

This story brought the brothers all back together and was a brilliant ending to a what’s been a truly amazing series with great characters and the exciting surprise visits from some of our favourite past characters !
One of the best things about a single parent story is it means there’s more than just two main characters, the child(ren) play a huge part just as important and getting that bond right between the non-parent character, in this instance, Jacob is priority! And Jacob and Sebastian form a father son relationship, and instant bond and understanding of trust and it really is heart warming.
Brenna and Jacob are destined for happiness but are both too unselfish to ask the other to give them their all but with a chemistry and connection too strong how can one ask the question or the other need to hear the question ‘Stay for me’

Brenna and Jacob ruined me. My heart was hurting so much for them. Brenna and her two kids moved back to Sugarloaf after her husband died in an airplane crash. Jacob was a rising Hollywood actor, but have to go back home, Sugarloaf, to finish his turn for living at their old home for 6 months. The moment Jacob saw Brenna, he was attracted to her. Brenna with baggages, she tried to deny her feelings towards Jacob, but the more time Jacob spent helping her and her kids, she couldn't deny her feelings anymore. Jacob was the Total package and a swoonworthy hero. I love it whenever they're together. Corinne legit made me cry. So beautiful. If you haven't pick up this series, I highly recommend you do. Binge it in time for the release of this last book.

Corinne truly did save the best for last because Jacob and Brenna were absolute EPIC PERFECTION! Their story was everything, it's the type of love story that makes you believe in happily ever afters.

This book is now my favorite. I knew I was going to fall in love with the last of the Arrowood brothers from his brief appearances in the other books. He is sweet and caring. He is unsure of himself despite being a big movie star. Brenna is perfect for him in every way. She is smart, sweet, and loving. They both have fears and let those fears determine their actions at times making them even more relatable. I love the way that this whole series has taken characters that are imperfect and show how they grow. This book will have you so invested that you will be feeling so many different things with the characters. Make sure you find a good time to read where you will not be interrupted because you won’t be able to put this book down.

Stay with Me is the kind of small town emotional romance that you will want to read next to a roaring fireplace with some hot chocolate. It puts you in a cozy mood and it makes you want to bask in that moment and not let it go because that is your happy place for the next few hours.
Newly widowed Brenna Allen is trying to bring back some kind of normalcy into her and her kids life. Moving to a small town with a new house and a new job, Brenna knows that the road to healing is going to be a long one but she’s ready. But when the hollywood local star comes home for six months to honor his father’s wishes, things are about to change drastically for this mom of two.
If someone had told Jacob Arrowhead a year ago that he would be back in his hometown for the next months and directing a school play, he would’ve laughed in your face. But that’s the reality for this hollywood star and secretly, he’s enjoying every minute of it including spending time with the new widowed school psychiatrist. But as much as he’s enjoying the quiet simple life in this small town, Jacob knows that his stay is coming to an end and he has to go back into the spotlight alone. Will Brenna be the one to change him and make him stay? Or will their relationship be destroyed before it’s even off the ground?
I have been a fan of this author writing style and even though it’s been a while since I’ve read anything from her, her stories are very easy to get into. The only downside that I had with this story is the fact that there were previous books with the main character’s family members and I felt out of the loop a bit. They were strong side characters and even though certain things were mentioned, I wished that I wouldve read their stories just to get a better understanding.
Aside from that, this was a good emotional read that definitely gave you the small town feels. If you’ve read the other books in the series, then I think you’re going to LOVE this one.

Jacob Arrowood doesn’t think he deserves love and happiness. Finishing his stay in his hometown is all he wants to do and then get back to Hollywood life. Brenna Allen is new to Sugarloaf, recently widowed and working at the middle school.
Brenna and Jacob’s instant connection is palpable, dynamic, addicting, and just so hot! Jacob’s adoration for her family as well as his makes him a perfect cinnamon roll hero in my eyes. Brenna’s apprehension to start a relationship soon after the death of her husband is something any woman might go through. But one thing is for sure, they’re meant for each other.
It was great to be back in Sugarloaf! Once again, Corinne Michaels finishes out a family saga with just the right amount of angst and heat, as well as lots of laughter and love. This series will hold a special place in my heart!

Jacob becomes of friend to Brenna’s kids and directs the school play. He takes Sebastian fishing and they bond. He has an attraction to Brenna and the feeling is mutual. The two start a casual relationship, but both realize they are lying to themselves.
Jacob doesn’t think he can do a relationship, but also has never met someone like Brenna before.

“What’s one truth about an arrow?” I ask as I look up, wishing it were my mother’s voice asking. “Removing half the feather will create the curve and alter its course.”—I love that all the Arrowood brothers are committed to their one truth. Even when Jacob doesn’t think it’s possible to find his truth his mother leads him to it and his realization is so inspiring.
“Honestly, my mother was brilliant because she never really explained it to any of us. Many reviewers use the phrase “all the feels” and nothing could be truer after reading the Arrowood series by Corinne Michaels. Stay for Me is the final book about four brothers who return home to a small town in Pennsylvania upon their death of their father.
Book four features Jacob Arrowood and single mom Brenna, who is a licensed psychologist. Even though it can be read as a stand-alone, I encourage you to start with book one as all four brothers are introduced, and the reason they must return home for a six-month stint each is made clear.
Stay for Me will pull at every heartstring as Jacob is the youngest of the siblings and a Hollywood superstar. I love how this small town “pays him no mind” as my grandmom would say, and that he got a chance to bond with his brothers and make peace with their tragic upbringing. Corinne spares no details as they suffered physical and mental abuse at the hands of their father after losing their mother who was the light of their lives.
My favorite part of the series is the gift their mom left them in the form of her advice about arrows to compliment their surname. As adults, they now see the true meaning and it is very powerful and emotional to read. I thought this was a brilliant way to tie each book together as well as the four brothers realizing that together they are stronger and that they don’t have to live in the past any longer. They are free to make their own path and define their own future.
The women in this series are strong, independent, and very loyal to their men, and it’s beautiful how they immediately welcomed Brenna and her two children into the family. They are supportive and sympathetic, all while being down to earth and encouraging. This family has been through so much, and I love how they are each survivors in their own right as Corinne writes ANGST like no other.
In book one, Connor is a veteran Navy Seal and returns home to find his high school sweetheart, now a single-mom Ellie, in an abusive marriage and harboring a secret. Book two features Declan who was the only brother to remain in town, and Sydney the woman who has loved him since she was a child. Book three features pro-baseball star Sean, and his best friend Devney, who suffers a great loss and also harbors a secret.
In book four, it’s Jacob’s turn to live on the land and I just love the way he is smitten with Brenna the moment he sees her. I do believe in love at first sight and she is the first woman to make him think about settling down. Still grieving over the sudden loss of her husband, she relocates to Sugarloaf to raise her two children, Sebastian and Melanie. Sebastian is especially awe-struck when meeting his real-life super hero who proves over and over what a stand-up man he really is.

This was a Bittersweet Read as I'm Sad to see this series end But Jacob's book is a Fantastic way to do that! Corinne Has given us a Story Full of Feels, Our Beloved Characters, Swoons, Angst, Fun times and DRAMA!

Jacob is Caring, Fun, Thoughtful, Swoony & with a heart Of gold. As a Hollywood actor, he got famous due to his Superhero role. (He IS a Hero in so many Ways *Swoon*.)
Brenna is a Widow with two sweet Pre-teen kids: Melanie & Sebastian (I love'em!). Her husband Luke was a Navy fighter pilot & Died months ago in Flight. She'd move to Sugarloaf, his hometown, for a fresh start & to Heal. She's Resilient, Strong, Kind and the town's new District Counsellor. I empathized with her guilt & Sadness. (Her Bestie's Awesome!)
From the moment Jacob+Brenna met, they were Captivated. She had a inner beauty unlike he'd ever seen.
Her son Sebastian is Jacob's big Fan & J spends time with him, later takes to Direct the school play, to make him (& Brenna) happy. He's so Wonderful with the kids, it makes my heart swell❤. And Seb & Mel love him!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!!
I love nothing more when Corinne Michaels makes me cry ugly tears hahaha I know it's gonna be a good one. When Corinne breaks my heart I know she’s gonna put it back together in the best way ending in a happy sigh from me.
I loved this series. Through it all I gave my heart to Jacob early as great as Sean is I knew it was Jacob for me. I felt this was the perfect way to end this amazing series with the wonderful Arrowood Brothers. *Insert happy sigh here* Jacob is the perfect Hollywood heartthrob. Brenna was made for him and her two adorable children. I absolutely couldn’t get enough of Jacob and Sebastian's relationship. It was so sweet and wonderful to see their relationship become so special and strong. This book had all the feels for me. Romance, family, drama, ugly tears, and happy ones were very present. Everything was spot on, I loved how all the brothers and their partners played such a role in this book and we even got a few special visits from some familiar faces. I love it when that happens in my favorite books. It makes it that much more special.

This book was everything. Seriously perfect and everything. Every brother has their own special characteristic and every woman in the series has her own unique way of making the men better. Brenna is no exception.
This one hit home a little more than the others. I unfortunately know how Brenna feels about the things that have happened in her past. (Not exactly but similarly) So it melted my heart a little. Only Jacob could give her what she so desperately needed. I voluntarily reviewed this book from the author. It is hands down the best in the series, but I think it was the anticipation of getting to Jacob’s story that made it perfect. This series was truly amazing.

Dance in the rain at least once in your life
I enjoyed the journey through Sugarloaf. I'm not quite sure I was ready to say goodbye, but all good things come to an end.
Jacob Arrowood is the last brother to return home for his 6-month "sentence". He is so adamant that he deserves no happily ever after that when he meets Brenna for the first time he gets the wind knocked out of him. How should I describe Jacob? He's handsome, new Hollywood royalty, rich, and a great uncle. But I think the thing I found the most amazing about him is how he's so honest with Brenna and how he treats her like the Queen she is.
Brenna Allen's story is so similar to many women I think. Getting pregnant young, married, and putting themselves last. Losing her husband broke something in her, but I think it healed something at the same time. You can feel all the emotions she's feeling and want the best for her throughout this story.
Their journey together is a rollercoaster of self-doubt on both sides. Jacob and Brenna both seem a little lost when it comes to the next steps with each other. When it comes to how they see one another it's clear they see the best and willing to accept the worst. Sebastian and Melanie are two incredible human beings, they both have been through enough heartbreak to be jaded, but as we learn over and over again that children are the most resilient of us. I think I would agree with Sydney in her "ranking" of the men. This author wouldn't be true to her nature without a few surprises, but the ride is all worth it. I loved how this book almost seemed like an all-star event, with all previous characters making constant appearances and bringing tons of laughs with it.
I think one of the things that resonated with me most in this series is the guys' mother. She truly understood her boys at a young age and she asked them to embrace who they were. While they didn't have as much time with her as they wanted, she guided their lives after her death.

I enjoyed the journey through Sugarloaf. I'm not quite sure I was ready to say goodbye, but all good things come to an end.
Jacob Arrowood is the last brother to return home for his 6-month "sentence". He is so adamant that he deserves no happily ever after that when he meets Brenna for the first time he gets the wind knocked out of him. How should I describe Jacob? He's handsome, new Hollywood royalty, rich, and a great uncle. But I think the thing I found the most amazing about him is how he's so honest with Brenna and how he treats her like the Queen she is.
Brenna Allen's story is so similar to many women I think. Getting pregnant young, married, and putting themselves last. Losing her husband broke something in her, but I think it healed something at the same time. You can feel all the emotions she's feeling and want the best for her throughout this story.
Their journey together is a rollercoaster of self-doubt on both sides. Jacob and Brenna both seem a little lost when it comes to the next steps with each other. When it comes to how they see one another it's clear they see the best and willing to accept the worst. The final swoony Arrowood brother has found his soul mate and did so quickly but the process still required some serious wooing and to and froing, and a bit of peril and lots of steamy treats and sassy humor. Written in my favorite dual POV, the couple featured was endearing and admirable, yet challenging and somewhat ragged around the edges from past traumas and spiky current events. I have enjoyed this series, which has been my introduction to Corinne Michaels’s irreverently humorous, engaging, and sexy small-town storytelling. Her characters have been well-textured, complex, and somewhat batter and jaded by misfortune yet deserving of a better life ahead. I fell for each in turn and am curious to see what and whom she conjures next.

Stay for Me by Corinne Michaels is the fourth and final book in The Arrowwood Brother series and HOLY WOW- she saved the best for last. This book was everything I thought it was going to be but it was also so much more than what I was expecting. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t stop. Full of emotions, love, loss, and family, Stay for Me takes you on one incredible journey.
Jacob and Brenna were two fantastic characters. I fell in love with the both of them right from the very beginning. What a beautiful, and perfect ending to this amazing series! Jacob is the last brother to come back to the home he swore he'd never see again. He's happy that his brothers have found love and new families, but he doesn't believe he is worthy of that kind of happiness. That is until he meets the beautiful widow and single mom, Brenna Allen. Brenna lost her husband almost a year ago and has moved to Sugarloaf so her two pre-teens, can be closer to their grandparents. Brenna, as a military wife, has sacrificed her wants and needs for her husband and family. She is picking up the pieces after her husbands accident and trying to move forward. Her son, Sebastian, is a huge fan of Jacob's movies, so Jacob is happy to spend time with him. Jacob likes Sebastian, and is really attracted to Brenna as well. They find ways to spend time together, and their attraction and chemistry only grows more combustible. They try to keep their distance, because of the end date for Jacob going back to California, and the fear of Brenna losing someone again. But the more time they spend together, the more they fall for each other, and it becomes impossible to deny their feelings. But what happens when Jacob has to leave and their hearts are in it too deeply? There was so much to love about this sweet, poignant, and steamy story. I love Jacob and Brenna together and their chemistry leaped right off the page! They really see each other for who they are, and the way they support one another shows just how perfect they are together. It was so much fun catching up with all the Arrowood family members, laughing at their sibling banter, and admiring their unconditional love and support. There are also some fun moments when characters from other books make an appearance. Jacob and Brenna's story was so compelling, passionate, emotional, and honest. I loved how it unfolded with each heartbreak, each sweet moment and each plot twist, making me laugh and cry, swoon and every other emotion in between. I really loved this series and am sorry to see it end, but I know this beautiful family saga will stay with me long after I say goodbye.

Corinne Michaels truly saved the best for last! Stay For Me (The Arrowood Brothers #4) is such an utterly beautiful story. I was curious and anxious about Jacob Arrowood, the Hollywood actor who was adamant about not falling in love and leaving Sugarloaf when the time came. And after finishing Stay For Me, it’s official that Jacob is my FAVORITE Arrowood brother. He’s such an unexpected pleasure and the level of romance he shows Brenna had me swooning like crazy. Brenna is a widow, a single mother and a very resilient, caring and admirable person. I couldn’t help but love her and her children. And even though Jacob and Brenna’s story is emotionally intense at times, they wrapped themselves around my heart and I couldn’t let them go.
Stay For Me’s storyline is flawless, engaging and Corinne Michaels definitely made me feel a lot as I found myself laughing a little and crying as well. Jacob and Brenna are undeniable and without a doubt they’re meant to be together. It goes without saying that Stay For Me is a definite must read and so is the entire Arrowood Brothers series.

Stay For Me is the fourth and final book of the Arrowood Series by Corinne Michaels. This author is one of my all time favorites. Each book she writes I say is my favorite until she writes the next one. Jacob and Brenna’s story had me laughing and then crying. I was an emotional wreck but ended being so happy I didn’t want their story to end. I loved this series and highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. It is so much more than a 5 star read!!

Although I am sad this this the last book in the series (they are all standalone s that are interconnected), I was really looking forward to Jacob’s story. He is a famous Hollywood actor and it is now his turn come back to Sugarloaf. When he meets Brenna, she takes his breath away. Brenna has been struggling since her husband was killed in a plane crash. She has been going through the motions and trying to stay strong for her kids. She isn’t sure what to think when Jacob, this gorgeous famous actor, says he takes him fishing and then volunteers to direct her son’s play. This is a fantastic love story of how Jacob mends Brenna’s heart and how she shows him he does deserves to be loved. Of course, in true Corinne Michaels’ fashion there has to be emotional angst thrown in, but it is worth it in the end. This book is definitely worth the read so go get it now!
