This is is lovely heartwarming read although it felt a little rushed to me sometimes.

Cassie and he two best friends are on a blow out holiday before they all go their separate ways and start the next junction of their lives, one to become a realtor in NY and the other to get married. The last thing she ever expected was a holiday romance that would claim her heart forever and then smash it to pieces after a misunderstanding. Now it’s five years later and running from an abusive ex and hiding her true identity she finds the man of her dreams again, but will she give him the chance to explain after all this time and can she finally escape her ex?

Logan and his friends are away for a bachelor party when he sets eyes on Cassie it’s something special he can tell, she’s not after his wealth and doesn’t see him as a meal ticket. After a week together and the most incredible night he wakes alone with no idea what went wrong. He lets her go if she doesn’t want him he can’t force her! But when they meet again she’s the same beautiful soul he met the first time now he just needs to know why she left him like that and how he can fix it? But will he get the chance or will she run away again?

Cute and action filled book no qualms recommending this especially for a holiday read! I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC copy of this book.

A good story. Second chance romance.
This ties in with another book by the author as Logan is the son of the Hero from that story.
Their story is linked as his father married a much younger woman and this causes a misunderstanding between Logan and Cassie.
There is a separation of 5 years after their initial meeting, during that time Logan has apparently showed no interest in any other women.
Cassie has an ex she is running from so she obviously in a relationship but there are no details of it.
Logan did date a lot of high school then when he started out in business, this is referred to by his friends early on in the story but he says he's changed for some time as firstly he's very busy with work and secondly he has seen what a meaningful relationship looks like.
I did think the misunderstanding was a good reason to show friction but Casie really should have confronted him with it at the time, not sneaked away and Logan could have at least looked in to where she was to see why she just left, he certainly had the resources.
No cheating.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
HEA.

Logan was looking for a woman who wasn’t after him just for this money. Apparently that was just too hard of a mission to accomplish. Taking his 2 friends to Mexico for a guys vacation before Russell gets married was the least he could do for them, and himself. He wasn’t expecting to find everything he’d ever wanted for himself the first night inside a local club.

Cassie was on vacation with her 2 friends before their lives split them up for a while. Naomi was heading to New York to start her real estate firm and Cassie wanted to soak up every last minute with her best friends before she left. Renting an Airbnb in Mexico seemed like the perfect solution. That first night heading to the club she never imagined she would find the love of her life while standing at the bar.

Logan hid who he really was from Cassie all week while getting to know her and letting her see almost totally who he was, minus the billions. As we all know, lies backfire, even lies by omission. He loses her for 5 years in the blink of an eye.

Now they are both in New York but Cassie isn’t Cassie anymore. Aside from calling herself Sandra she is cold, hard and aloof. Not his precious Cassie anymore. He will finally do whatever it takes to never let her go again. Too bad her ex boyfriend is a psycho who wants her back, no matter the cost.

Logan and Cassie overcome misunderstandings and too many lost years to make a perfect team. They will finally know what it is like to no longer be alone. A great read from this author earning 4 ½ stars from this reader. I read an advanced copy without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own.

💕Romantic, 🔥steamy at times and with a 😱 suspense/thriller/stalker subplot, I thoroughly enjoyed this story of a chance vacation romance that never achieved closure. The plot and writing were good and, apart from Mike, the persistent villain, the characters were all sympathetic, even wealthy and powerful hero Logan. Logan was secretive about his real status and career when he found himself bonding with beautiful and down to earth Cassie on the 🌊 beaches of Puerta Vallarta, but I thought his caution and discretion were totally understandable and his actions over the long period he and Cassie are apart show he is a man of strong emotion, fidelity and optimism. I really fell for Logan!

I had one significant issue with the story. It was unexpected and strange that even five or six years ago heroine Cassie was totally clueless about the ability to research people on the internet! It seemed such a no-brainer for this young, cell phone-toting woman to check out the information she stumbled upon about Logan, but no, she does not even try?! This maintains some tension in their relationship but just does not seem true to the times.

Another Good Read

This was another good read from Suzie and is Logan and Cassie’s story. Although stated in the books description that this can be read as a stand-alone I recommend reading the 3 books in order.

This is book 2 and is set 10 years after book 1 and Logan is all grown up at 32 and running his dad Riley’s company. He meets Cassie when he’s 27 when they are both on separate holidays with friends in Mexico. They fall in love quickly after only a week together although they don’t share their feelings Logan indicates he’d like some sort of future relationship but Cassie leaves abruptly when she sees a photo on his phone thinking he’s married with a child and has cheated on his wife with her despite Logan saying a number of times he was single. Logan was heartbroken and vowed if he ever found her again he’d never let her go. Fast forward 5 years and they meet again although Cassie is not happy to see him but Logan is determined to win her back. Just when things are looking up for the pair an ex shows up causing trouble. Will they find their happily ever after? Grab your copy to find out. Well worth the read and I thoroughly recommend When l Lost You if you’ve a few hours to spare.

This is a story about a couple who meet in Mexico. The girls are celebrating a friend moving off to NY. The guys, well they are celebrating a bachelor party that is funded by Logan our millionaire friend of the soon-to-be groom. However, his friends are trying to help him fit in with the normal tourists. At a club, him and Cassie meet and before their trips come to an end, they end up hooking up, however Cassie leaves in a rush while logan is sleeping and leaves no contact information. Logan knows they live on different coasts, but was wanting to pursue something more than a vacation fling.

After returning home Cassie gets in to an abusive relationship and finds herself on the run to NY to be with her friend. Several years after the vacation, Logan runs into someone who looks just like Cassie. Is it her? If it is, why is she going by a different name and pretending to not remember or know Logan?

This was a great story with a few twists, a little suspense and some surprises. You;ll fall in love with Logan as he tries to figure out who Cassie really is. Another great story from Suzie Grace!

This is second chance romance it was similar to other stories I've read, yet a little different. I knew from the start where the problems were coming from. At about the half way point I would when problems were going to start? Suzie Grace was very subtle with things. I kind of missed the suspense, everything happened in about the last 10% of the book. In my opinion it was a pretty good story. The thing that was a little different with this story was, Logan was not the typical billionaire. He was not so arrogant you can't stand him, I really liked that! Sometimes authors write the hero so arrogant there is no like him, even when he does good. Logan is self assured, smart and knows when to leave things alone and when not too. The one thing that surprised me was he did not at least google Cassie's problem. I liked Cassie she is smart, independent and learned to ask for help when she needed. Overall I enjoyed this book. If you like second chance romance, I would recommend. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers edition.

Susie Grace wrote such a heart warming contemporary romantic story. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is the destination spot where Logan and Cassandra met where they met. Cassandra and her two friends were from California and Logan and his two friends were from New York. For a week the couple enjoyed their time together but then Cassandra thinks she's found out he's married and Logan has never been honest about his wealth.
Skip five years and Cassandra is now in NYC hiding from an abusive ex and working real estate for her friend when Logan and her meet up. How will five years be handled? How will an ex be handled? Will they both come clean?
I loved this storyline and am recommending this book. The characters were well developed and believable. Although, when it was discovered Logan was one of the richest men in America, why Cassandra didn't Google him to find out about his marital status seemed like an obvious miss.I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.

This book covers the past and the present. Definitely needed to know what happened in the past to understand why they spent 5 years apart.

They had an immediate connection, and they handled it so perfectly... Not insta-love, but they definitely had extremely strong feelings for each other. You know the ones... Where you feel so connected to someone and you get butterflies, and you are anxious to see them again?? Well, these two portrayed that type of new budding relationship kind of feeling with each other perfectly. Then it all broke.

Five years later, and that initial feeling is still there, with lots of questions. Anger and confusion are the two top emotions portrayed in the present. Can they figure out where to go from here? Do they want to? There's drama and angst and love that consumes the present.

This book was definitely worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed the book from the author. It's a good short read that is worth every moment.

Logan and Cassie meet while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. They have in intense connection and spend some time together. When Cassie comes across some proof that he is a playboy she leaves without a word. Now years later they run into each other during a business thing and Logan isn't about to let Cassie slip through his fingers again. He has never stopped thinking about her and feels like its meant to be that they've run into each other after all these years. Will Logan be able to convince Cassie that he is wanting more than a fling?


This is a great story once I started this book I couldn't put it down The chemistry between Logan and Cassie was blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a captivating story. It starts in Mexico on vacation. And what great romance does not start on holiday! These two meet at a crowded club, and are taken with each other right away. There brief week long romance has a very lasting effect on both of them.

About five years passes, and Cassie if forced to reinvent herself and move to New York. With help from her friend Naomi she gets a new job and a new home. Her new job also brought her back into Logan's orbit. As Logan had proficised, fate brought them back together, and he is going to fight to keep her. Unfortunately her ex has other things in mind.

This a story is full of drama and page turning suspense. I loved every minute of it!

When I lost you is a beutiful example how reacting on impulse is never a good decision. You should make it clear, that what you heard/read or saw was just the way you interpreted it. Or else a lot of damage could be done. Just like in this book.
I really hated it, that the author tells you at the beginning of the book that they will be separated for five years. All I could do at the beginning was think what will happen that they will go their separate ways.. and maybe that is why I wasn't as focused on the story as I would have been otherwise.
I loved about the story that he was persistent and really wanted to get to the bottom of the things. He was loyal and wonderful. He kept her safe and that is what matters the most.
I quite liked this book.

A well written and very entertaining heart warming contemporary romantic story.  It includes well developed and believable characters that have sizzling hot chemistry. Cassie and Logan meet in Mexico and spend an amazing week. Then she leaves angry thinking his is married and lied to her. 5 years later when in NYC hiding from an abusive ex, they meet again with the same connection, chemistry, and longing they had before. Cassie is almost a shell of who she was and being stalked and threatened by her ex Mike. An amazing romantic story as they get the happy ending the both so desperately want. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC that is part of a great series. A must read, i highly recommend.

I had an affinity for Logan in the first book, so I really loved this opportunity to get to know more about him and to see what his forever would look like. And there’s so much more to Logan than we’d seen so far. He has a deep and abiding honor for his family legacy, that certain scenes from the previous book make a lot more sense now. Cassie has so much vitality and such a fierce spirit. It makes the events that transpire to bring her back into Logan’s orbit all the more tragic. Though it would be a very different story without them. I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

This is Logan's story and I enjoyed this so much more than the first book from Suzie.
I found myself drawn in from the start and really liked all the characters.
There is a lot of conversation between them which I like very much and not too much inner ramblings and angst which can sometimes get tedious.
The storyline isn't original, but Suzie carries it along well, it doesn't get silly or far fetched.
All in all a very enjoyable quick read with likeable characters, well written intimacy with plenty of heat ... what more could you want😉

This is a super fantastic story. I loved Logan and Cassie together. He is so protective, kind, caring, and all alpha male. Cassie is a sweet, loving, kind, and strong young woman. Together they have a hot chemistry that blends into a beautiful relationship. They complement each other. The story is extremely well written and the flow of the story is just superb. There is some drama, suspense, and action. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book

What would happen if you went on a vacation and met the man of your dreams only to find out at the end it wasn't true? This story drew me in from the beginning and kept me reading. It has great characters both primary and secondary and there are some really good twists and turns. It took some effort to get to the HEA but it was an enjoyable read to the last page. Enjoy.

Now 5 years later Cassandra is on the run from an abusive ex and hiding out in New York where she happens to fun into Logan. Will the truth finally come out? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and emotion Cassandra should have verified the info she learned before running. Great chemistry and a good story. I liked it.

I think this is the best book I’ve read from Suzie yet :) Logan is so sweet and romantic, Cassie is a doll. Of course because every book needs drama Cassie found something in Logan’s phone and jumped to a conclusion and left him without letting time explain. 5 years later they both still think of each other daily so as fate has it they meet again. Cassie has a psycho ex they need to get him put behind bars till they can live their lives happily ever after :)

This is a new author to me, and my goodness, I cannot wait to read more of her work! Logan and Cassie meet while on vacation, and when she hears something about him she leaves. Now 5 years later they meet again by chance, and Logan is determined that his girl will not get away from him again. This is a beautifully written story, which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author!

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to review When I Lost You. Thank you, Suzie. A chance meeting while on vacation leaves an imprint on Cassie & Logan. A misunderstanding takes five years away from them. Will five years heal old wounds? Will the fire that ignited when they met still burn as hot many years later? When I Lost You is a second chance romance. The H and h meet 10 years prior while each was on vacation with friends. A misunderstanding separates them at that time. Ten years later a chance meeting brings them back together. The characters are very strong and the story has a bit of a twist to it after they reunite that makes it interesting. Overall this is a very light read that is good and entertaining. Enjoy!

I couldn’t wait to read this book as I thought it would be a follow on from Riley and Ian’s story. Although I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get anymore of Riley or Ian but this story was a great read in its own right. Logan has grown up and Cassie is the perfect match. I don’t want to ruin it but it was a good easy read. I would recommend.

They had a summer doing and he wanted more especially as she saw him as who he was and not the money he had. She disappeared without a word. He will find her and then she reappears with her awful ex following her. Nothing with stop he claiming her as his for all time. Can he save her? See if he can

I wasn't sure I would like Logan as a main character after the first book. I was wrong. I enjoyed him and Cassie as a couple very much. The storyline flowed and the characters were well written. When I was reading I would "see" the scenes and to me, that's a job well done.
