“Midnight Magic” is a wonderful collection of urban fantasy and paranormal romance stories. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I really enjoyed every single one of the stories in this anthology!!! It had all sorts of paranormal and fantasy elements, and each story was both addicting and unique. I’m really happy I picked up this anthology, and I will definitely be looking into more of the authors’ other work now!!! While I loved all the stories in this anthology, my two favorites were “Blood and Bones” by Ariel Dawn and “The Warlock’s Lair” by Taya Rune. All in all, I would definitely recommend!

This anthology is fantastic, it has something for everyone, it’s full of great stories and authors, some I’d read before and some new to me, although not for much longer as I’ve run off now to buy their back catalogues. What I loved about this collection was I liked and enjoyed every story, there weren’t any I wasn’t keen on and I know everyone will find something they love in here, probably more than one. My favourite story is Caswell Convicts, I admit I am biased because I love M.C Solaris and her Orion’s Order series of books, I was so excited to read Clyde and Maddie’s story, I love shifters, so couldn’t wait to read about the Caswell Pride and oh my, Clyde ! I think M.C is the Queen of writing alpha males that I fall in love with and want to wish into reality, I mean I loved Maddie too but just ‘sigh’ Clyde, he’s amazing, I mean you’re going to have to read it and meet him yourself. Suffice to say it’s a great story, really fun, great chemistry and swoon, romance, I really can’t wait for more from the Caswell Pride too. This anthology is amazing, I highly recommend this to lovers of PNR, shifters, witches, vampires, basically all your basic needs for a great few nights with thoroughly interesting, witty, romantic stories.

Review of Ember Feeling Foxy by Hanleigh Bradley:
This book was an awesome read. It follows Ember and her four mates and her newly found sister. They go to the brewery and try some shots of some new brews that contain magic. Ember has a skating competition the next day so has to be careful. The brews they try make them rolling balls of hormones. The story gets nice and steamy throughout the whole read. It's practically erotic. One of the last shots they try does not work out the way it was planned and they have to try and find a way to get things normal again. This book was super steamy, a little funny, and was a wonderful joy to read. I can't wait to read more about Ember and her mates.

I really like finding new authors and books. This was just the ticket. I like how there is just enough drama to balance out the romance and it's my absolute favorite genre paranormal romance. The characters are well written and I felt as though I was right in the midst of the action.

The author does a real good job of brining the characters to life. I like how there is a bit of drama and that the story wasn't predictable. The author really had a refreshing idea and really brought it to life. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is the best anthology ever. Each and every novel and novella in this anthology is wonderful but I can't review them all so I'm going to review my most favorite.
Caswell Convict by M.C. Solaris. Clyde is a lion shifter who succumbed to his lion animal and was convicted of murder when his lion killed his girlfriends lover. After prison he is required to have a mind healer help him and Maggie is the healer. But there is too much chemistry between Clyde and Maggie and Maggie realizes she can not help Clyde or she may lose her license. This is a really interesting story with lots of steam from Maggie and Clyde and just a great read. Loved this one.
Wolf Cursed by Kate Rudolph. Nora is a wolf shifter who has been cursed by Rosalie Sutton the evilest witch in the world. Julian is a witch who helped defeat Rosalie and now wants to help Nora. The only reason Nora has not succumbed to the curse is because she has been draining Julian who happens to be her mate. But Julian is a city boy and Nora is a forest girl. Can they find happiness together as mates. This is a well written paranormal romance and a great read.
The Shadow Fae by Juliana Haygert. Twyla is a shadow Fae who can control shadows. Twyla spent twenty years in the monster realm and after being set free she is brought before Queen Kayden where she was given three choices for her future. Put to death, being kept in the dungeon forever or be sent to live on earth where she would lose her magic and eventually die. She chose the human realm. Daleigh is the lord of the Frost Court and is sent with Twyla to the human realm to make sure she does not harm any humans. As they get to know each other in the human realm many misunderstandings are resolved and finally Twyla can have the life she deserves. This is a fascinating realm and I really liked this story.
Luna: A Paranormal Fairytale by Siera London. Luna and Kole are two different paranormal's and attempt to find love and happiness with each other. But Luna is the princess of the earth elementals and Kole is a Captain of the Ice Warriors. Kole is water and Luna is earth. But there are all those who state elementals of different species are not allowed to love and live. Nice steamy love story.
Whitneys Fantasy by Lilith Darville. This is just a fantasy, a hot steamy, sexy over the top hot hot hot fantasy with Whitney and her angel saviors Liam and Jazz. Sexy, hot, steamy read.
Chasing Shadows by Aston White. Rose, a panther shifter just wants to forget the past since she was betrayed by her partner and best friend Danton, a vampire. Rose and Danton were Paladins until Danton betrayed everyone on the Supernatural Intelligence Force. Now that Rose is in danger because of Danton can he save her when she doesn't trust him anymore. Wonderful thrilling ride and fun read.
This is such a great book. It has shifters, elementals, vampires, angels, fae, everything you want in a paranormal anthology. Each and every story is a wonderful sexy read. They all have great characters with great chemistry. It has I think 25 stories in all and they are all good reads. If you like the paranormal romances this is definitely the book for you.

SHIFTING SANDS by SUSANNAH SHANNON

LIONS, AND TIGERS, AND BEARS

The story is a mystery, with suspense, danger, and paranormal. Years prior, a highly noted doctor will share his beliefs with the world and become a laughing stock and discredited. His wife and young daughter will leave him. Now, years later, that daughter is a doctor for large animals at Salt River National Park. She will see things that shouldn’t be possible, and her outlook changes. Her opinion of her father changes because what he claimed was indeed true, but the world isn’t ready to accept it.

“A wildlife vet doesn’t have time for romance, international intrigue or cryptozoology. But all three of those things are determined to make a claim on Clementine Jasper.”

The story will have paranormal, and humans collide, along with those who have evil intent in a battle of good and evil. Dr. Clementine Jasper will learn that her father, Dr. Zebadiah Jasper, may have ruined his career, but in the process, he has helped protect colonies of shifters. What happens with Clementine and Nate Sands as they spend time together? The chemistry between these two is one thing—but will secrets bring them closer or tear them apart?

“For the first time since I had fallen down this insane rabbit hole, I sensed the wonder of it all. If all of this was real, the world was a much more magical place than I had ever known. No wonder my dad had dived into it with such fervor.”

Kiss Me, Chaos
Quell T. Fox

The first thing I can say is this story was great with the push and pull of tension. It had me questioning which way things were going to go, and then it came to a point where it had me conflicted on which way I was hoping it would go. I’m trying not to give too much away, but let’s just say a certain bit snuck up on me. Man, am I glad it did. I completely forgot about where it was originally headed. I didn’t know where it would end up, but I was very happy where it did.

Midnight Magic

Good luck picking just one book boyfriend out of this one!
This book has everything from fae to witches to wolves and more! From flirty romance to sexy encounters, it had my book-loving heart happy in all sorts of ways. In my opinion, this book is worth it for just one of the stories. To have all the ones it contains, by authors I’m always excited about, it’s bonus after bonus. Thank you to the authors for a book that can teleport us readers from world to world. Even though I feel a bit exhausted from the roller coaster of emotions, it was a joy and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

This review is for Water Witch only. This is a story by C.D. Gorri about a girl who has feared magic her family had because it was cursed. She finds out she has inherited her families magic and is sent to a school for her to supposedly to teach her to do magic. She gets unusual roommates that does not make sense with the magic counsel's policy, she finds out they expect her to know already how to use her magic, and not only does she have magic, she has very strong magic. The question is, can she control her magic or will her curse take her. She finds out the school is very segregated by magic class, and also by who works for the school. She does not buy into that, she is drawn to a shifter who is a guardian and she does not only befriend students but people who work for the school. If she has her way, no one should be less than anyone else. The only thing, can she survive her curse to enjoy her new life, her friends and her new love. This was an amazing story that I could not put down. It is a must read.

I just had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy of Luna: A paranormal fairytale by Siera London.

Luna is a Thornican and the man who wants her Kole is a Kelvinian. First let me say I was already excited about their stories because I had the pleasure of reading Cindra and Celso. Already from the beginning Mrs. London already has you engrossed in all things Kole, (He may become my new book boyfriend) and as for Luna, you get the feels for her because you understand exactly where she in coming from and her situation.

I will not ruin the story by given spoilers but I will say it is totally worth the read, And the bad guys come uppance and it's totally worth it. The author gets you so involved in the story that you can't wait to find out what's next, It seems like every story gets better and better and better and I can't wait for the next one.

So I will end this with saying this will be a book you totally enjoy.

Witch Switch is the second book in the ‘Bewitch Me’ series by Louisa Bacio, and is her contribution to ‘Midnight Magic: A Limited Edition Collection of Magical Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy Tales (Charmed Magic Collections)’.
This is a paranormal romance with witches, magic, mayhem, broken arrangements that lead to revenge, a bitter and twisted ex, good vs evil, danger, agendas, family, and a few dramatic developments. Being a short story, also makes it is a very quick and easy read.
When Rafe chooses true love over an arranged marriage, he had no idea the chaos that would then ensue. A bitter ex with revenge on her mind puts his love in danger- and results in a bit of a witch switch. What happens makes for a fun read.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Louisa Bacio!

This is a review for Water Witch only....
Fun story.... reminds me of a Harry Potterish type of story, only Rio knows she's a witch, just not what kind or any other particulars. A bit vague on the whatnots but great world building... academy life seems OK but Rio has some difficulty adjusting to it. Rio reminds me of Hermione in that she sees all the social injustices around her, that her life and Hispanic heritage from the normal world see as wrong. Love the story and looking forward to reading more about Rio and gang.

Ember Feeling Foxy

What a fun story. It has so much humor throughout it. I definitely like the side effects of the drinks as they had me laughing out loud. We get to see a lot of Ember and her mates together in this one. It has a lot of hot sexy scenes in it. Yes, it is a quick read but boy is it extremely well written and developed. It was easy to picture the scenes and the reactions of Ember and the guys were having. It is definitely a must read and doesn’t disappoint.

Quite a collection of tales. Some were not quite my taste, but others were good. Some were longer than others. One I did enjoy was the Water Witch by C.D. Gorri and Gina Kincade. I enjoyed Rio as she stumbled her way through her magic, learning as she went. It was kind of fun as she learned about the different magical beings and such. She felt the pull of her attraction to Magnus, and his shifter side was quite unexpected. He supported and protected her.

I received a copy of this collection as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

This book right here has all the excitement a PNR reader could ask for. There are shifters. Wolves, lions, Foxes and dragons to name a few. There are witches. Warlocks, vampires and hunters and ghost. There are mates, one, two or more. You couldn't ask for a better group of authors. I look forward to reading many of their back list. Thank you for the excellent entertainment!.

Fantastic way to get to know more authors. I've especially loved Hanleigh her story in this book. It is Ember, feeling foxy and I loved this one so much. It is light and funny and just the thing I needed really. I have read the other Ember stories and would recommend it but it isn't necessary needed. The other stories are also very fun to read and some author were new and I love that about anthologies.

What a brilliant book filled with fantastical, often very steamy, paranormal romance type novels and novellas. This was such a great way to read book by other authors that you might not come across and having read this, I’ll be sure to look up their other work. For me, I was eagerly awaiting Caswell’s Convict by M.C. Solaris. It’s linked loosely with the Orion’s Order series, where we first met Clyde in Rhyker’s Key. Caswell’s convict was like a mini version of one of the Orion’s Order books yet it still had everything we know and love about it. There was the Lion shifters, including Clyde one of our main characters, a mind healer, Maddie, who was our other main character, other species, a steamy love narrative where ultimately good come through. I loved that Solaris made me fall in love with both Clyde and Maddie immediately. I was rooting for them, felt frustration when things didn’t go to plan and elated when things were good…probably during the hot scenes! I loved that I was hooked by the story in such a short amount of time too. There was so much to it, without it being serious dense with information - lots of emotional ups and downs and a whole lot of suspense! Really hope we see more of Clyde and Maddie. The Caswell Lion Pride we’re only mentioned briefly so you don’t have to read Orion’s order to enjoy Caswell’s Convict (although I strongly recommend them if you like shifters, paranormal and sizzling romances - you’ll be hooked!).
The other stories in this book are equally fantastic - you’ll be sure to enjoy!.

This is a great collection of paranormal stores. The book I most enjoyed is Witch Switch by Lousia Bacio. This story was gripping from the first page. The characters were engaging and you really felt like you were on this journey with them.

In this story we follow Cheyenne and Rafe.
This couple long to be together, however there is 2 things keeping them apart. Firstly Rafe's family don't think Cheyenne is good enough for Rafe since she doesn't want and rejects her magic. However the biggest thing is that Rafe is already promised to another Witch called Meredith.
Meredith is a very powerful Witch and very dangerous as she doesn't use her magic for good. When Meredith finds out that Rafe doesn't want to marry her she gets angry and goes for the one person he wants Cheyenne.
Now Cheyenne and Rafe need to find a way to stop Meredith before she can cause anymore harm. But when Cheyenne tries to reach her magic she can't make it work.
Has her magic deserted her after she rejected it? Will Cheyenne be able to defeat Meredith even with her magic? And what lengths will Meredith go to to stop Rafe being with the woman he really loves.
This is a romance with a twist of a lover scorned and magic thrown into the mix.

I received an ARC of this book from one of the authors and this is my honest, unbiased review. I actually read three of the stories (so far anyway) and loved them all.
A Wolf's Honor by Asa Maria Bradley ~ Bolt and Regie's story was absolutely fabulous! Regie has a stalker and Bolt is hired to pose as her fiance. But when the truth comes out, it's definitely a shocker. I love Asa's books and this one is no exception. The engaging story was well-written with wonderful characters and it kept me entranced throughout my reading it. It's a well-thought-out paranormal romance with suspense blended in and it's an awesome read! I highly recommend this story.
Guardians of the Veil by Pepper McGraw ~ Thorne and Kalina are two members of the Fae who have chosen to be Guardians who protect the veil between the Fae and the human worlds. When they meet and discover they're fated mates, they're shocked because no Guardian has ever had a mate. Still, they choose honor above all else. This was a magical tale that drew me in from the beginning and kept me hooked throughout. It was well-written with well-rounded characters and a well-thought-out plot. It leaves room for going forward and I do hope that there's more to come. I highly recommend this story.
Shifting Sands by Susannah Shannon ~ This was an amazing story about a wildlife vet who finds out that there's much more to the world than she ever knew. She also learns that her father wasn't crazy after all. The story was well-written with wonderful characters. I was pulled into this enchanting read from the start and kept hooked until the finish. This paranormal romance was the perfect blend of sweet and steamy with some suspense mixed in. It definitely reads as if it could be the start of a series and I would love to read more about these characters. I highly recommend this story.
