Known as the face for Amaryllis Events, Jenna Madison is a familiar sight on social media platforms around the globe. Even before she met her soon-to-be stepmother—renowned fashion designer, Emily Freeman—Jenna made a pact with herself to make a difference in the world of fashion. She didn’t realize how much she’d have to endure along the way to achieve success.
In the five years since Jenna graduated college, she still can’t forget the last day of her international marketing class. After all, despite the spark that arced between them, Professor Finn O’Roarke pushed her away after he finished ravishing her body.
And her heart.
Finn has spent the last five years mourning the loss of Jenna from his life. When granted his wish to speak with Jenna, he doesn’t know how to convince her of his intentions. He has one chance to repair the damage he’s wrought.
As for Jenna, can she relinquish the past? Or will she be left forever wishing for love based on respect, trust, and faith?
Tracey Jerald knew she was meant to be a writer when she would re-write the ending of books in her head on her bike when she was a young girl growing up in southern Connecticut. It wasn’t long before she was typing alternate endings and extended epilogues “just for fun.” After college in Florida, where she obtained a degree in Criminal Justice swearing she saw things she’ll never quite believe and never entirely forget, Tracey traded the world of law and order for IT. Her work for a global internet startup transferred her to Northern Virginia where she met her husband in what many call their own happily ever after. They have one son. When she’s not busy with her family or writing, Tracey can be found in her home in north Florida drinking coffee, reading, training for a runDisney event, or feeding her addiction to HGTV. Free to wish is a heartfelt second chance romance. I absolutely loved the dynamic between Finn and Jenna. The sparks that fly between these two? H.O.T. is all I'm gonna say. Mix in the Freeman Clan and all their crazy antics and you don't want this story to end. I devoured it from start to finish. What a beautiful story. It's always worth it to make those wishes.
Free to Wish is book 8 in the Amaryllis series and is the second chance love story between Jenna Madison and Finn O’Rourke. We met Jenna back in Emily Freeman’s story, Free to Believe, she is actually Emily’s stepdaughter. She made quite an impression so to see her get her happily ever after was wonderful to see. Unfortunately like the rest of the Freeman clan there is heartache before the happily ever after. Finn O’Rourke was Jenna’s professor and thirteen years her senior. But for both sides, the heart wants what it wants and they finally gave in to their attraction on the last day of being his student. But due to the age gap, Jenna being his student and unforeseen familial tragedy Finn devastated Jenna’s heart. Now five years later, their deep feelings for eachother have not changed, but the years apart have kept both hearts broken. With Finn’s sister's upcoming wedding and nudges (or smacks over his head) from his grandmother, he was given a second chance with Jenna and he was willing to do whatever he needed to win back her heart.
I really enjoyed being back with the Freemans and how they always rally around those who they love. Ever since Jenna came into their lives she has always been a part of the family. So they knew something had been troubling her for a while. When Jenna finally confides about her heartbreak and then the reappearance of Finn, the rallying from the Freemans and all their connections is instantaneous. Finn was given nine days to convince Jenna that his love for her was true but she was not the only one to be convinced. He had a momentous task, but Jenna was worth it for him.
Even though this was a novella, the emotional impact was still so strong. I felt the heartache, the anticipation, and all of the love that this family and those they give their hearts to throughout the story. Another wonderful read.
I LOVE THE AMARYLLIS SERIES! The stories revolve around the Freeman family who keeps getting bigger as mates are found, children are added. Jenna Madison was brought into the fold at 16 years through Emily Freeman marrying Jenna's dad. Jenna is a very smart independent lady in her mid-20's now who travels the world promoting Amaryllis Events. Life is pretty awesome except just after her schooling finished Jenna and one of her professors went from a mutual attraction to a brief romance. Jenna was in love but her professor pushed her away as her being too young then he just ghosted her. Professor Finn O'Rourke can't forget the beautiful Jenna with the brilliant mind. He was called home to Ireland when his Grandfather died and complications just kept popping up so he never got back with Jenna. But he still dreams of her. This is a delightful quick read and Jenna and Finn get a very happy ending. Linda
Jenna was attracted to her professor Finn, but they waited until she was about to graduate before they gave in, but then he decided to destroy her heart. It's five years later & neither have gotten over the other, and while I felt for Jenna, I had issues with Finn since he could have come back at any time. Luckily for his stubborn a**, fate gave them a second chance, and while he's determined not to squander it, she wasn't going to make it easy, which delighted me to no end. Not to mention others got involved so he had a very limited time to convince her (and others LOL) of his love or that's it for him. Gotta love being part of a big family whose reach is far because Jenna had all kinds of folks who had her back so Finn's task was huge! Will he be able to succeed at getting her to give him a second chance?! You know what to do to find out as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This story definitely filled my heart with love , such a beautiful read .
This is Finn O'Roarke and Jenna Madison's story .
Stupidity, and making mistakes isn't just for the young . Five years ago Finn made the biggest mistake of his life when he pushed Jenna away . He was thirteen years her senior , and she was his student , although she was at the end of her education.
Both spent those five years feeling something missing in their lives..... each other.
When he finally gets to see her again he is determined to win her heart again , and never let her go .
Love is always worth wishing for .
It was also brilliant to see all the Freeman's and their significant others again
I absolutely LOVE that Tracey Jerald is back writing in the Freeman world! In Free to Wish, Tracey dives into the second generation of Freeman’s. Wish follows Jenna Madison, daughter of Jake and Emily from Free to Believe, and her former college professor, Finn O’Roark. Emily and Finn rekindle and dive deeper into their relationship from years past and what started as a fiery fling years ago, kicks into overdrive when given a second chance. Not only do we get to see what grown up Jenna is up to, we also get to revisit our beloved original Freeman’s. Jenna and Finn are fiery together and prove that sometimes wishes really do come true.
Foreword PR is delighted to be working with Tracey Jerald with her release of Free to Wish! Free to Wish is a steamy, second chance, age-gap interconnected standalone novella and the eighth book in her addictive Amaryllis series. Visit here to find out how you can read early: Free to Wish
Finn and Jenna's story has a potential to be a full steamy forbidden romance then second chance later if the author wants to write their story in a novel. But since she makes it a novella, I think the story is too rush for my liking. Plus with everything Jenna feels about Finn before they reunite, she jumps him too easily. But I like the prologue which leads to their reunions. The story is full of tension between Finn and Jenna but also has humour moments from their family members. The story is so sweet and dreamy for anyone who loves reading second chance romance. The reason I give the book 4 stars is because I want more... that's all.
I'm so thrilled to take a journey back into the Freeman world through their extended family! Reading this quick book with lots of past characters made my heart happy. The heroine, Jenna, had been brought to us in past books from the amaryllis series and reading about her and Finn - a second chance with a forbidden, age gasped romance was entertaining. Thirteen years her senior, you can just anticipate how well that's going to go with the Freeman clan.... I lost myself in the pages and was happy to Finally have these characters written about!
Sometimes wishes really do come true. I have been waiting for Jenna and Finn's story since it was teased a while ago. Jenna the first of her generation of "Freeman's" to fall in love and I loved every word. Every love story has it's trials and Finn sent Jenna away so that she could grow but when the timing was right he was set on loving her forever. So freaking good and has all the feels that Tracey Jerald is known for.

I'm glad this book had the current day view of Finn and Jenna at the beginning as I knew they got their happy ending. It also made sure I read past the first chapter. Once you get through the history of Finn and Jenna and how they came to separate, and then learn Jenna's complicated family structure, this book is all about learning, acceptance, giving people a second, ( whether they be lovers, family members, etc).
This was a sweet story about what comes after heartbreak. I love the family aspects that are in this as well as the hope that Finn holds on to after everything that happened. Jenny is a spitfire, but she also has a soft heart. I love how this story starts and ends at the same point. Definitely recommend!
I absolutely love Tracey and am slowly making my way through her books, but this one definitely pulled me in, even though I haven't read all the Amaryllis series, I still felt just as connected to the characters.
Finn and Jenna were two well-developed characters, and I instantly started pulling for their romance to go strong.
This second-chance romance is one everyone should read!
The Amaryllis book series is a good one to follow. The whole Freeman family of characters in the book series was well written, including how they all interact together and make you feel like you are part of the family. They bring you along in the love story of the book. There is an HEA in this book.
The book quote I gained from his book was: “Love is the dance everyone wants to be on the floor for once the music starts, but how many people have the stamina to finish until the end of the song?”
Short sweet second chance romance This is a sweet retelling of how Emily and Finn fell in love How wishes do come true as long as you are free to wish! Beautifully written
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review
Jenna and Finn ❤❤ and i loved this extension of the short novella we got before. This was great. I loved seeing the Freemans & their chaos! This was so good and amazing. Seeing more of Finn and his family in this book was so fitting and great. I loved his grandmother!
Beautiful and compelling! Finn and Jenna’s story is sensual and heartwarming. Such an engaging and intense storyline with captivating characters. A definite Must read. Wonderfully written Tracey. Congratulations on this incredible series👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love Jenna so much and was happy to get her and Finn's story. I of course wish it was a full length book but we got so much of her story in Em's book that I understand why it wasn't. Always nice to be back with the Freemans!
Another beautiful love story!!!! Jenna and Finn lost so many years growing and maturing but if it’s real love it never fades away! I loved their story and I couldn’t put it down until I finished! My tears of happiness didn’t help much!
I know it isn't true, however i feel like I just read the last Freeman story. This is Jenna's story. If you read "Free to dance," you are familiar with her and Finn. This is how they got back together.
Inhaled this story! Seeing Finn and Jenna together is just amazing. The devotion and love is real and I so enjoyed seeing the cast of characters (and their antics) come alive on the pages!!
I loved this book so much! This is a second chance read that will pull you in and doesn’t let go. Just like the rest of the books in this series you will feel all of the emotions with this one.
Super cute and quick read! Finn shattered Jenna’s heart after ravishing her body on the last day of class. After 5 years have passed, his wish is granted and he’ll do all he can to make Jenna understand she is the only one for him. Loved Finn and Jenna and of course all the Freeman clan. Tracey definitely brings all the feels to every book.
