I love this book so much! This is K.A. Linde at her best. The perfect amount of angst, steam, romance, and heart. Campbell and Blaire’s second chance romance was exactly what I needed.

Campbell and Blaire dated in high school eight years ago, but Blaire ended up heartbroken when Campbell went to LA to pursue his music career. Now Campbell is a rockstar in one of the biggest bands out there and Blaire is a social media influencer with a following of her own. It’s been eight years since they were together but Blaire will always be the one that got away to Campbell.

I was on pins and needles seeing if Campbell and Blaire could work out all that was broken in their past as well as getting glimpses into their past to see what really happened. I was truly heartbroken for Blaire. I cried for her and all she went through and as angry as I was as Campbell for the past, he more than made up for it in the present. You can tell he was truly remorseful for what happened and he loved Blaire so much. This couple was meant to be!

Wright that Got Away can be read as a stand-alone, but I think one of the reasons I loved this book so much is that I knew the background of these characters and so many of the side characters were familiar to me. It felt like coming home. I feel like so many of my book friends are sleeping on this series and I’m not sure why- it’s so great! I love this Wright world and I can’t wait till the next one comes out! I’m so excited to read about Nora and Weston!

If you’re looking for a stunning second chance romance with a rock star hero and a heroine that will sweep you off your feet, check this one out! Definitely my favorite out of all the Wright books!

Delectable drama…

I am always, always happy to revisit the Wright family! The drama, the emotions, the angst, the sheer roller coaster of it all, makes me run, not walk, to get my grabby hands on these stories. Campbell and Blaire’s story – well, I couldn’t wait to delve into that mystery and, wow, was it just what I needed…

Something happened. It was big. Heart-breaking. And clouded in mystery. Blaire hadn’t shared it with anyone. With Campbell back, all of those feelings, the love and devastation, the life-changing anguish, were back. Along with a second chance she never saw coming…

Man, did I love this story! Campbell’s sincere regret and need to make things right. Blaire’s love for him that never died. Their reconnection was about honesty and regret. Atonement and forgiveness. And a nod to love that can happen (again) even if you believed it not possible… There were winding paths and twists I never saw coming, all coming together into one fantastic read… I just hope there will be many, many more as I am addicted to the Wright world! ~Diane, 5 stars

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

In Wright that Got Away, Linde delivered an emotional second chance romance. This was one of my most anticipated books for this year and it lived up to my expectations.

Wright That Got Away tells Campbell and Blaire’s story. It was clear from their appearances in the last few books in the series; they had history. Also, judging by Blaire’s current reaction to Campbell, things ended on a bad note. Wright that Got Away reveals the heartbreaking truth.

It took eight years for Blaire to put the pain of the past behind her. However, Campbell’s unexpected return reopened old wounds. Staying out of his way would have been possible if not for the fact they shared the same circle of friends. The big question is, will Blaire find it in her heart to forgive Campbell, and can he convince her he is a changed man?

Blaire’s actions puzzled me at first, and I thought to myself she needed to let it go. Yes, Campbell broke her heart, but eight years is a long time to hold a grudge. But then I learned of his actions that opened the door to all the pain and heartache, and I wanted to shake him. Now I understood the reason for Blaire’s actions. Loss, pain and heartbreak dogged her doorsteps.

Now I am not saying I am excusing Campbell’s actions back then, but I understood the reasons behind it. Youth, immaturity, the desire to pursue a dream and selfishness played a major role in his actions. Eight years later, without a doubt, Campbell has outgrown his eighteen-year-old self. A famous rock star who owned his mistakes and was ready to make amends. The fact he still loved his high school sweetheart made for a bittersweet reunion.

I absolutely adored this second chance romance. They made a great couple, and it warned my heart when Blaire gave Campbell a second chance. Watching them working through their issues was such a delight, but all was not perfect. Problems with crazed fans, paparazzi, social media trolls, secrets from the past and issues close to home threatened to destroy it all. The events unfolded in a manner, which gave insight into their strength as individuals and as a couple.

The secondary characters added depth to the story. It was also great reuniting with characters from the previous books in this series and the Cruel series. The story was well written, well paced and packed full of emotions. This one will definitely give you all the feels.

Wright that Got Away proved to be a captivating read. It delivered a steamy romance, humour and heartbreaking moments. This will definitely appeal to fans second chance romance.

4.25 stars--WRIGHT THAT GOT AWAY is the fourth instalment in KA Linde’s contemporary, adult WRIGHT VINEYARD, and eleventh instalment in the WRIGHT erotic, romance series. This is twenty-six year olds, rock star Campbell Abbey, and blogger/TikTokker star Marie ‘Blaire Blush’ Barker’s story line. WRIGHT THAT GOT AWAY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: For followers and fans of KA Linde, there is a slight crossover with the cameo appearance of English and Court Kensington from the author’s CRUEL series

Told from dual first person perspectives (Campbell and Blaire) WRIGHT THAT GOT AWAY is a second chance romance focusing on twenty-six year olds, rock star Campbell Abbey, and Marie ‘Blaire Blush’ Barker. Blaire and Campbell were high school sweethearts in Lubbock Texas but days after graduating Campbell announced he was going to Los Angeles, alone, to make it big in the music industry, leaving a heart broken Blaire behind. Fast forward eight years, wherein Campbell Abbey returns home to help celebrate award winning winery season, a celebration that brings him face to face with the woman he has never forgotten. Enter Blaire Barker, social media star, and the woman with whom he is still in love but Blaire struggles in the face of betrayal and loss, grief and heart break, knowing to catch up with Campbell means to remember the past. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Campbell and Blaire, and the potential fall-out as the past comes full circle, pushing Campbell out of her life, again.

Campbell Abbey knew he was about to destroy Blaire Barker’s heart but Campbell was all about the music, and to stay home, meant never seeing his dream come to fruition. Blaire has always been Campbell’s muse, and with their reconnection, Campbell’s star is about to rise, once again. Blaire Barker never wants to experience the heartbreak of rejection ever again but her love for Campbell is a barely veiled threat to her own privacy, a privacy that will be tested when our heroine moves to LA with the man that she loves.

The relationship between Blaire and Campbell is one of second chances; a rekindling romance in which Campbell ‘s love for Blaire has never waned but forgiveness for past sins will come at a cost. As Blaire and Campbell work on repairing their friendship and relationship, someone else is working behind the scenes to make sure they never get together. The $ex scenes are erotic, emotional and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters, many whom we have met in previous story lines: Campbell’s fellow Cosmere bandmates: Michael, Santi, Vivi, Yorke, manager Bobby, and PR agent English Kensington and her husband Court ; Campbell’s sister Nora; Blaire’s assistant Honey; Piper and Hollin Abbey (Wright Rival); Weston Wright; and fellow social media star Nate King. Weston and Nora’s story line is next in ALL THE WRIGHT MOVES.

WRIGHT THAT GOT AWAY is a story of loss and love, betrayal and vengeance; second chances and forgiveness, heart break and acceptance. The premise is emotional, edgy and sensitive; the romance is spicy and provocative; the characters are sassy, spirited, charismatic and wounded.

5 star Review of Wright That Got Away (Wright #11) by K.A. Linde
I love the Wright family, so any book that is a part of this universe is sure to be a winner for me. Having read the previous books in the Wright Brothers series I was excited to dive in to Campbell Abbey and Blaire Barker’s story . This was a great addition to the series and I quickly became invested in the story that K.A. Lind wove.
It was great to be back in Lubbock, Texas and to catch up with some familiar faces. I enjoy small town romance and Wright That Got Away ticked all the boxes for me. It’s a second chance at love story that was captivating. I really loved blogger Blaire, she is such a kind, caring, compassionate woman who I could easily see as a friend.
Campbell is the lead singer of a world famous band. He and Blaire have a complicated history as he broke her heart when he left to pursue his music career. Now he’s back and wants a second chance, but Blaire is determined that she will not put her heart on the line again.
There was angst, romance, passion and so many emotions that I found it entertaining to watch the journey that Campbell and Blaire travelled.
Can they work through the past? Can Campbell convince Blaire to take a chance? One click and find out.

Wright that Got Away by K.A. Linde was second chance rockstar romance perfection. I'd been anticipating Campbell and Blaire's story for quite some time now, and it was totally worth the wait! Each and every visit back the Lubbock, Texas and Wright Vineyard makes this girl all warm and gooey inside just knowing another couple will get their chance at their own HEA. Campbell and Blaire have quite the complicated past, and no one knew about it except themselves. Campbell Abbey, the lead singer for the famous band, Cosmere, left Lubbock 8 years ago to make it big leaving Blaire behind. Now Blaire, a social media influencer, and Campbell are given a second chance. Blaire knows Cosmere's big hit, "I See the Real You" is about her. I love the trust and passion Blaire and Campbell develop with each other as they fall in love all over again. Campbell is completely swoon-worthy, and devoted to Blaire in all the best ways!

Overall, I loved this book! If you are a fan of second chance romances with a hot hunky lead singer, a sassy brave social media influencer, catching up with all your favorite Wrights, rooftop kisses on the Fourth of July, super hot steamy times, obsessive assistants, writing sessions with the band, sibling support, trips to L.A, and a HEA that will sing to your heart and leave you with a huge grin on your face, then you will love Campbell and Blaire's story. I always look forward to more from K.A. Linde.

This book is a complete waste of time and doesn't include anything that the summary promises. 70-80% of this book focuses on side characters I don't know or care about; the rest is leftovers of a flat, underdeveloped relationship. Blaire is "devastated" and "angered" by Campbell but then proceeds to take every possible opportunity to spend time with him. The fallout of their relationship isn't even explained. It's summarized that "[He] left to chase his dreams.", no drama, no conflict. There is no grovel, no apology, no remorse from Campbell. Not once does it feel like he has any genuine love or affection for Blaire, or that he's pursuing her for anything other than music inspiration. Blair is an annoying doormat heroine who is always blushing and yearning for Campbell, another boring and selfish hero. Blaire's social media fame serves literally zero purpose and does nothing to elevate her character or the story. She could have had any other job, and the plot would have been the same. The smut isn't even good.

The mention of his name reminds her of all the pain he caused her all those years ago, he made her feel special and loved, and then just walked away without so much as a goodbye. Campbell Abbey is the devil, he broke her heart and she is determined to not let him close enough to have the chance to do it again.

But that becomes a little easier said then done when he starts showing up everywhere she goes and tries to integrate himself back into her life. She is his muse, and he needs to be near her and be inspired by her in order to finish his new album. She wants to push him away, follow the lessons she teaches her followers, but her traitorous heart has other plans.

Between the pages of his one readers will meet a pairing that don't have the best history, it's filled with loss, hurt, and unresolved anger. But as the story progresses you will see these two grow, forgive, and find the happily ever after they were meant to have. It doesn't come easy though, there's old wounds to heal and forgiveness to find, which will do a number on your heart... but I promise it's worth it in the end!

This was such a wonderfully penned second chance romance, the words grab ahold of me from the first page and didn't let go til' the last. They tortured my heart, brought it joy, and left it forever moved. I have loved the previous titles in this series, but I've got to say this one really hit all the right notes, it is by far my favorite to date! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

I love catching up with the Wright family and who would have thought I would still be so invested at book 11 as I was with book 1, in fact for me this series has just gotten better and better with each release and that’s hard to do especially when the first books were such big hits. This is Campbell Abbey and Blaire Barker’s entertaining yet emotional tale and like the previous books their journey starts in the small town of Lubbock, Texas.
Campbell is the lead singer with a successful rock band and he is back home looking to write music and hopefully get a second chance with woman who was the muse for his first hit song. Blaire will never put her heart on the line again, she will never give Campbell a chance to break her all over again but will she be strong enough to follow her head and not her heart and what happens when Campbell does everything in his power to prove he is a changed man that deserves a second chance…..
This book ticked all my boxes, it’s emotional yet entertaining, it has the perfect mix of passion and angst but more importantly it’s a beautifully written love story set in a town I would love to call home with residents I would want as friends. This is a perfect addition to one of my favourite series.

WRIGHT THAT GOT AWAY is the 11th installment in the Wright series, as well as the 4th installment of the Wright Vineyard series, which the series title explains how it is connected yet differentiates from the main series as a whole.

Can the novel be read as a standalone with little to no confusion? Most definitely, as a contemporary romance, the focus is on the two MCs. Can it be read out of series order? Also true. But the real question is should you read it as a standalone or out of series order? No.

Frankly, if you plan on going back and reading the predecessors, you're setting yourself up to spoil the previous plots, as it's all connected. The emotional payoff would also be greater, as you'd develop a connection to the characters, the side characters in this novel were previous main narrators, and so forth.

Linde sets up a delicious contemporary romance featuring second-chance romance between a pair of high school sweethearts. The heroine of the tale, Blaire, had her heart broken when Campbell left her behind for the bright lights of LA, seeking fame and to pave his own path. Fast-forward almost a decade later, you have the setup for an angsty romance, featuring a woman who is trying very hard to close off her heart after the feeling of betrayal and heartbreak, and a musician who has returned to his muse now that he has obtained his goal of stardom.

Of course, this is Linde, so there is most certainly an obstacle trying to drive a wedge between Blaire and Campbell as they work to rebuild their friendship and romance. Contemporary romance needs some drama and angst to make it feel as if the couple has worked to earn their HEA.

For most women, I believe Blaire will be easy to identify with, experiencing the emotional roller coaster ride she takes the readers on. Kind and compassionate, Blaire gives the feels.

At the same time, Campbell also resonated with me, since he should reach for his dreams, especially at such a young age. Romance shouldn't be the end-all be-all in life.

I was rooting for Blaire and Campbell the entire time, enjoying the byplay of their interactions, the steamy smexy time, and the realistic connection.

Many cameos by past favorites are on the pages as we revisit small town Lubbock, Texas, and the addictive Wright family. I definitely look forward to more. Highly recommend to fans of the author and contemporary romance.

“When I’m with you, all I want is to be closer to you. It’s like I got one single taste, and it will never be enough.”

Oh my … sweet sigh. The Wright series continues to wow me, weaving me into the best dream where I’m cast into a family of characters that are special. I can’t help but feel connected as if I’m another character in this saga too. K.A. Linde has crafted another gem to add to the sparking series of Wrights. Wright That Got Away is a steamy and dreamy rock star romance that had my heart dancing and my soul singing the whole time reading.

Set in the Wright vineyard and rock star LA worlds, Wright That Got Away is told through a struggling rocker and the strong woman who’s his muse. This heart-fluttering saga of soulmates and second chances is simply irresistible. I’ve needed Campbell and Blaires’ book since the last story in the Wright series, and K.A. Linde delivered! Campbell and Blaire are full of fire, and I couldn’t help but crush on these characters as I felt the sizzle and sweetness these soulmates bring.

Prepare to get swept away by this fierce and feel-worthy fairytale! This love story radiates with charm and compassion as you fall for the characters that feel real. I adored this romance full of soul and swoon that kept me turning the pages. It was easy to get drunk on this book. This heart-hitting love story is oh so Wright.

She thought so little of me now, and how could I even blame her? The one person I’d cared about the most was the person I’d hurt the worst.

Wow, I finished this book in one day and I honestly don't remember the last time I did that. I love a good second chance romance and this was done brilliantly well and I haven't said that about many books in the past two-ish years.

I absolutely fell in love with Campbell. Sure, what he did to Blaire was shitty but he redeemed himself in my eyes. The two together had the perfect blend of angst, romance and steam. I was biting my lip, waiting to see how this book would end. From the beginning to the end, I was hooked!

This can be read as a standalone but I would say at this point, you should read the entire series, they're really good.

I'm so happy to be back in the Wright world! I just love all of these characters. I was excited to finally read Blaire and Campbell's story.

These two have a history that everyone has been curious about over the last couple of books. Blaire and Campbell dated in high school. The relationship ended when Campbell took off to LA to work on his music career. Blaire was heartbroken and never truly forgave him. But there is a lot more that comes out.

There is quite a bit of crazy that happens, but I was glad that there wasn't a lot of angst with Blaire and Campbell when it all happened. They both have matured a lot over the 8 years that they've been apart.

The one thing I love about this world is how we continue to see all the past characters! I love them all and for me it's what makes this series so freaking good!!

This is the eleventh book in the Wright series, but possibly more importantly, the fourth in the Vineyard series. If you are completely up-to-date, then like me, you will have been keenly anticipating this next pairing. If you have never read one before, then I would genuinely recommend you at least read the Vineyard series, so you have a better understanding of the dynamics in play.

Campbell left straight after high school to try and make his mark in the music business. He did succeed, and now is a big star. His best known hit is about Blaire, his high school sweetheart he left behind. Now, eight years later, he is back for a visit and wants to spend time with the one who he's been comparing every woman to since. His closeness to the family means that he is almost impossible to ignore, but Blaire is desperate to protect herself. She only just survived, and now has control of her life again, so really needs to take care of herself.

What is so clever, is that it is impossible not to like them both and completely empathise with their points of view. The author gives us just enough insight into their thoughts, and their conversations with their closest friends. It is hugely engaging and entertaining – with some moving and difficult elements twisting what seems like an obvious happily ever after. I love that we can believe we know a situation's turn and yet another factor becomes an issue. The way that the leads deal with such issues gives us the true indication of their feelings for each other.

I was really looking forward to their story, and it was complex, intense, and incredibly passionate – perfection!

Blaire's first and only love is back in town and it's clear to her that though she has told herself she's moved on from Campbell, her heart and body may not be in agreement with her. Therefore, she will be steering clear of the man while he's back. Easier said than done, though, and it's looking like a second chance is on the horizon for the two who have never really gotten over each other. But will Campbell's fame have people looking into their past? The past no one else knows that lies between them?

Second chances are my favorite trope, especially when done like Linde did here in Wright that Got Away, with heart, insane chemistry, and forgiveness and healing that only comes with true love like Blaire and Campbell shared. The encompassing Wright world that Linde has created is one I'm always happy to inhabit with each story that comes out, and I'm anxiously waiting for Nora and West's story, All the Wright Moves now.

“Everything we’d been and everything we could be, all wrapped up in one song.”

I loved, loved, loved Wright That Got Away. It hit me in the feels and I couldn’t put it down once I started it. I was so curious about Blaire and Campbell and their story definitely didn’t disappoint.

“I was either invisible or everything to you, and I’m not going to be satisfied with a middle ground.”

Campbell and Blaire have a complicated and layered history that’s a secret to everyone. It’s impacted both of them, but when Campbell finds himself back in Lubbock, he can no longer stay away from Blaire. Will they be able to reconcile their past so that they can move toward the future?

“Campbell and I had an inexplicable draw. The minute he’d actually seen me, everything had drifted away, and I’d known I’d never be alone again.”

Unbeknownst to everyone, Blaire has to face her past everyday with Campbell’s number one song. She was badly hurt by Campbell and she has no desire to have her heart stomped on by him again.

“She was everything. Everything I had ever wanted. I had no idea how I’d lived without her.”

Campbell regrets how things ended with Blaire and he wants a second chance more than anything. He’s determined to prove to her that he has changed and that things could be different this time.

“When I’m with you, all I want is to be closer to you. It’s like I got one single taste, and it will never be enough.”

I absolutely loved these two together. They had quick-fire banter, intense chemistry and were so much fun. I also loved how honest they were with each other and how supportive they were of one another. They both needed to grow up and face some harsh truths from their past, but in doing so, it allowed them to realize what was really important in life and to fight for what matters.

I also listened to the audio book of this story which was narrated by Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow. I always love Erin Mallon and she does a fantastic job of bringing Blaire to life. Aiden Snow is a new narrator to me and I am absolutely in love with his voice. It is perfection as Campbell. Listening to the book made me fall in love with Blaire and Campbell all over again.

This second chance love story is the perfect mix of heartfelt emotion, lighthearted fun, romance and heat. Campbell and Blaire do not have an easy journey. It’s angsty and messy, but it’s so worth it in the end.

I have been waiting for this one for some time and it didn’t disappoint! The little tidbits we’ve been getting in previous books gave us a test of what was coming. Campbell Abbey, brother of Hollin and Nora, had a thing with Blaire in the past and they were in present times tiptoeing around each other. And of course, they still had a thing for each other but were sorta avoiding each other. It gave me such a yummy feeling and I couldn’t wait to read the story.

I loved how they continued stumbling around their feelings and how broken they were from their breakup eight years ago. I loved how slow burn this story was, and it made a lot of sense, because they had a lot of stuff to sort through. There was also some family drama and band members drama, but it was subtle, not major which was great. I liked that the attention was concentrated on Blaire and Campbell. Meanwhile, I had a great time with the family on both sides, the Wrights and the Abbeys and the fantastic group of girlfriends. And above all, the surprise inclusion of characters from another series! I loved that so much!

Second chance, rockstar, small town, and a huge family and friends group, this story had all the feels I love in a story. It felt like I was meeting up with family and characters that I know and love. There’s an itty bitty piece of suspense, it was not a surprise and it also felt like a repetition of a previous plot. As soon as I saw it, I knew what sort of action was coming, and it turned out to be a surprise anyway, so good job! Another winner, KA Linde!

This is a cute second chance romance read. We have to say that we loved this cast of characters. An emotional tale of making amends for the past.

The story with Cameron and Blaire is all about second chances and regrets. The story was emotional and full of regrets but, it was also about growth and change and striving for those dreams and success you always dreamed of.

Blaire and Cameron have a history as high school sweethearts who were so in love. Decisions made that were one-sided, that would change two lives forever, which in turned into heartbreak and caused agonizing pain that would be lasting in the years to come.

Cameron was a fun character, always seemed upbeat and fun, and a man who supported and stood up for others. Thought he was supportive and sweet, and I loved the fact that he was rich and famous now, he remained that down to earth man who was a funny guy.

Blaire is another character down to earth, fair and believes in giving second chances but, she is also a woman who become successful that came from her own blood sweat and tears. I found her to be funny and very stubborn, and a woman who knows how to hold a grudge.

Loved the chemistry between these characters, it was super sweet and fiery and just seemed simple and natural and easy but, old wounds are not forgotten which leads to questioning feelings and questioning whether to risk their hearts once again.

We have we were rooting for this couple but, the road back to one another would be filled with twists and turns but, the biggest hurdle to overcome who been the lives that they live now and if there would be a way to co-exist. In the end, we just loved it.

We finally get to hear Blaire and Campbell's story! Blogger/influencer Blaire's high school relationship with rock star Campbell ended badly. Since then, they haven't spoken. After eight years, Campbell is temporarily back in Lubbock. Now, can Campbell turn the one that got away into The One?

Campbell and Blaire kept their past relationship a secret from everyone. As they spend time together, the details of their past and heartbreak are slowly revealed. Wow! There's so much to unpack. We are treated to their entertaining banter, special connection, and sizzling chemistry as they finally heal from their deep pain. And I loved their support of one another. Blaire and Campbell worked hard to be together throughout their messy, angsty, and emotional journey.

The fun group of friends we've seen throughout this series is back. This group always has each other backs, so it's no surprise that they are there for Blaire and Campbell. And there are Easter eggs! I loved seeing the characters from other K.A. Linde series make appearances as well.

I read and listened to this book. Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow did such an excellent job narrating that I found myself listening more than reading. Erin Mallon voices Blaire's hesitation to give Campbell a second chance and her longing. Aiden Snow's sexy voice fits rocker Campbell perfectly.

I have to start out by saying that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this author so much, and LOVE LOVE LOVE this series a ton. Campbell has achieved his rock star dreams, but unfortunately, Blaire was collateral damage. They fell in love in high school, but he was out of there the moment he could go, breaking her heart. These days Blaire is living her own dreams that she never knew she had with being a popular social media influencer, and she's also become adept at evading anything to do with Campbell despite the fact they have the same group of close friends. He's back home for a break, and to get his songwriting mojo back as well, however this time around, he's going to interact with Blaire, but it still takes a lot for her to even look at him, and now that I have all the info (it's given to us tiny bit by bit), can't say I blame her. Now look, I'm not saying I ended the book despising Campbell, but what he did was unforgivable in my eyes as he had all the information & still chose to make the very selfish decision he had. I'm trying to be very vague in this review so as not to give anything away, but for the first time, I didn't love a hero by this author & that really messes with my heart to be honest. However, since I couldn't put the book down despite these feelings that are my own, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

As a teenager Blaire fell in love with Campbell but he chose to leave her and their hometown behind to pursue a career in music. Eight years may have passed, and she has created a successful career via her blog however when Campbell returns it brings up all the feelings that have never gone away. The one thing she does know is that she needs to keep her distance as she may not be able to survive the heartbreak a second time.

Campbell was able to achieve the music career he has always dreamed about, but his biggest mistake was losing Blaire. Now that he is back in town, he wants a second chance but between the pain of the past and the challenges in the present it won’t be easy.

Witty banter and hot chemistry as Campbell proves to Blaire that she has always been his first and only love and the only place they belong is with each other.

I always enjoy revisiting the Wright Universe, I never want it to end. Although this book can be read as a standalone, if you read any of the other books you know Blaire and Campbell are not friendly with each other. We find out in the book that Blaire and Campbell dated in high school and it did not end well so there is pent up anger. I am a fan of Linde's writing and this book did not disappoint. There was the perfect mixture of romance, steam, and of course angst. I loved the many layers of this book. If you are in the mood for a rockstar/second chance romance that will grab your attention and keeps you turning this page, this is your book!

I received this arc for my honest review. This is my first book by K. A. Linde and I loved it. I was hooked within the first chapter. There was so much chemistry between Blaire and Campbell. The tension between them could be cut with a knife and you can just feel how they still loved each other just as much as they did when they were in high school. There is some mystery over a leak and the reveal was a bit shocking but also expected if it makes sense. The journey to their second chance is one that you don’t want to miss out on and never leave once you’re there. I loved their story and it has made me a fan of her writing. Can’t wait to dive into more of her books, as well as read the next story.

I love second chance romances. And I liked reading this one, too.

This is my first book in the series but I didn't get lost while reading. I love that the connection between them can be felt through the pages, true that Campbell had some growing up to do from their first relationship but he was able to show that. Reading their story also made me curious about the previous books and I might go back and read them when I can.

This was a good story on second chances.

This book has climbed right to the top of my list of favorites by K.A Linde.
I couldn’t wait to read Blaire and Campbell’s story. It was really addictive and I could not put it down! This is my kind of guilty pleasure…second chance romance!
It's messy, dirty, raw, sexy and real at the same time! The story is beautifully written and keeps you interested with every turn of the page.
Blaire and Campbell are the proof that sometimes love is not enough… you need to forgive and be forgiven you need to totally destroy, break the heart and shatter the soul to get your happy ending!

If you're a lover of second chance romance, Wright That Got Away is absolutely for you.

Of course with any second chance storyline, there is a valid reason that our couple didn't make it the first time round.

Campbell and Blaire's story has some deeply entrenched secrets coupled with unresolved issues, feelings and downright unpleasantness. BUT true love always finds a way....or so they say!

Despite all the hard feelings, both Campbell and Blaire remember, deep in the back of their minds, their love for each other. They remember what makes the other stressed, happy, angry and abandoned.

I was blown away that Campbell absolutely, without doubt, had Blaire's back even when she could have firmly wedged a knife in his!

This is a story that will definitely convince you that love conquers all. When all is said and done Blaire and Campbell are proof that proves the cliché.
