Edens Zero 8 holds the final chapters that are within the anime adaptation. This manga series has a special place in my heart. As a lover of sci fi, as well as Mashima’s work, Edens Zero is such a fun and exciting story, and I’m excited to see where the story goes. 5 stars from me.

Desde junio del año pasado que no leía ningún tomo de Edens Zero, un manga que comencé el año 2020 y que recién voy en el octavo tomo (sigue siendo el manga que más volúmenes he leído), pero aprovechando que he reunido varias lecturas, me decidí a darle una oportunidad al 8vo tomo y la verdad es que me encantó. Me volvió a sumergir de buena gana en el mundo que creó Hiro Mashima, esta space opera mezclada con fantasía que si eres fan del anterior trabajo de Mashima, Fairy Tail, te deja un muy buen sabor de boca.
La historia continua donde quedó el tomo anterior, con la esperada confrontación entre Shiki y Madame Kurenai, además otras peleas se van armando alrededor. La verdad es que este tomo es menos conmovedor que el anterior (a pesar de que hay muchas escenas se peso sentimental), pero sigue siendo esa combinación de humor, escenas de acción y momentos sentimentales tan buena que Mashima tiene. En este tomo las escenas de acción, sobre todo las que se relacionan con Shiki han sido de lo mejor, se sintieron muy fluidas y eran capaces de trasmitir todo lo que se esperaba.
Con respecto al avance general de la historia, pudimos concluir de cierta forma el desarrollo inicial de Homura, al cerrar al fin su historia con Valkyrie de la mejor manera, y empezamos a notar desarrollo en Rebecca, quien está empezando a tener nuevos poderes por si sola.
Una de las cosas que he criticado mucho de este manga, sobre todo en los primeros tomos, es lo parecido que se siente al anterior trabajo del autor. Siento que este tomo ha conseguido alejarse aun más de Fairy Tail para forjar su propia identidad. Cada vez siento a los personajes brillando como si mismos y no como símiles de personajes ya conocidos, algo que me gusta.
Aun así el manga muchas veces pierde el tiempo en situaciones de humor innecesarias, me gustaría que mantuviera la seriedad en las grandes peleas para conseguir hacerlas más épicas. Pero aun así, disfruté mucho de este tomo y espero leer pronto los demás tomos (eso depende de mí, lo sé).

Revolution and crushing defeats
As we left off last volume Shiki has come face to face with Madame Kurenai who was not only responsible for many atrocities after she took over the planet but is also Homura's biological mother who abandoned her child for a dream of wealth and power at a young age. With Draken coming in to spoil Kurenai's response to the growing rebellion she has no choice but to personally get involved to punish those that would dare stand against her. Just remember anime will save the universe and it helps to have a kick butt crew from the Eden Zero to give it a nudge in the right direction. Oh yeah...and Weisz finally shows up with a new toy to help. Might need a few tune ups though. :)
Emotions are fully charged as Homura must decide what to do next with not only her own life but with that of her real mother who has caused much strife among many people (however sometimes fate has a way of making the punishment fit the crimes better then what they got away with initially.) Valkyrie was a brave soul capable of love and compassion and deserved better but at least Homuru understands the truth her heart has been holding for so long. Now read the book yourselves so you can see how all the action plays out and see if you can avoid shedding a tear by time you reach the end of the volume.

Der Schock über den Tod von Valkyrie sitzt tief. Shiki möchte den Verantwortlichen zur Rechenschaft ziehen. Dabei fordert er Madame Kurenai zum Kampf auf. Sie soll die gerechte Strafe für ihr Handeln erhalten – nicht nur in Bezug auf den Tod von Valkyrie, sondern auch in Bezug auf ihr Handeln vor Ort. Shikis Freunde machen sich nebenbei ebenfalls auf den Weg zu ihm und müssen sich einer anderen Herausforderung stellen. Drakken Joe nutzt in der Zwischenzeit die Chance um Edens Zero aufzuspüren.
Der erste große Rückschlag innerhalb der Geschichte von Edens Zero. Bis jetzt konnten die Freunde gemeinsam Jeden lebendig ausfindig machen. Doch dieses Mal stoßen sie auf eine traurige Geschichte und keine weitere Freundin. Auch wenn es traurig ist, finde ich es gut, dass nicht immer alles so nach Plan und aalglatt verläuft. Das gibt der Geschichte aus meiner Sicht mehr Tiefe.
Die Zeichnungen sind auch dieses Mal wieder richtig toll. Ich liebe den Zeichenstil von Hiro Mashima. Ich mag auch die einzelnen Charaktere total gerne, dabei wachsen mit besonders Shiki und Rebecca immer weiter ans Herz.
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt wie die Geschichte weitergeht und welche neue Gefahren auf die Freunde warten.

Sudah sangat lama aku bisa menangis waktu membaca genre Action. Namun berkat Edens Zero volume 8 ini sukses memainkan emosiku sampai meneteskan air mata.
Setelah mengetahui alasan kematian Valkyrie akibat perbuatan tidak manusiawi Madam Kurenai, Homura harus menelan kenyataan pahit ini dan terpuruk. Sedangkan Shiki mencoba menyerang Madam Kurenai si penguasa Planet Sun Jawel tsb seorang diri.
Adegan aksi digambarkan dengan amat bagus, aksi tiap karakter sangat keren dalam menghadapi lawan tandingnya. pertarungan demi pertarungan antar para tokoh dan musuh merepsentasikan dengan battle di planet Mildian.
Emosi yang disampaikan dalam volume ini luar biasa dalam dan tersampaikan begitu saja padaku. Baik kesedihan, amarah, kekecewaan, semangat diramu jadi satu kali ini, aku secara pribadi sangat tersentuh dengan amanah Edenszero vol. 8 ini.
Karakter Homura yang mencoba bangkit dan tetap berterima kasih pada ibunya benar-benar sangat menyentuh terlebih ia tetap mencoba untuk bangkit bersama teman-temannya, Shiki pula yang berjuang dan memberikan energi positif ke setiap bagian cerita benar-benar memberikan kombinasi yang apik dan memotivasi.
Volume 8 ini benar-benar sukses menurutku, karena mampu mengaduk emosi sampai aku ikut hanyut dalam kesedihan para karakter.

Rha y a tellement de potentiel inexploité. On a enfin une villain charismatique et son histoire est même pas approfondi, les combats, les révélations tout est rushé. Alors qu'il y avait clairement de quoi faire un truc de ouf, ba nan rien de spécial. Par contre y a plein de réfs, plein de clins d'oeil, ok c'est sympa mais pas à tout bout de champ quand même XD Moi chui fan des clins d'oeil, des réfs et des easters eggs mais bon dans l'excès moi c'est pas mon truc. Le côté ecchi était pas possible là c'était trop, à un moment c'est même plus du subtil ni du suggéré. ça m'a juste soulé -_- Bref encore une fois c'est vraiment dommage.

Dramatischer ging es zu bei Edens Zero und gekämpft wurde viel. Jetzt ist ein Teil der Reise wieder abgeschlossen und es geht wieder weiter für die Freunde. Eine neue Mitstreiterin gibt es ebenfalls und die nächsten zwei Bände liegen schon hier bereit. Mittlerweile ist die Serie auf Netflix und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich jetzt nicht wechseln sollte. Shounen schaue ich oftmals lieber, als sie zu lesen.

This is really becoming a great series already and we are only 8 volumes in.
The Characters are all unique and Interesting, while there abilities are also really fun to see how they work and improve throughout.
The recent plot has been really good to see and im really looking forward to seeing the next volume!

La Dama Scarlatta passa all’attacco ma Shiki vuole sconfiggere la donna e farle incontrare la figlia, Homura distrutta dall’apprendere che Valkyrie, la sua maestra è morta. Riuscirà a reagire? Ci penseranno i suoi amici Shiki, ma anche Rebecca e il professore si daranno da fare per trovare una soluzione. Un volume interessante e pieno di azione che mi è piaciuto nonostante tutto. Diciamo che vorrei vedere come si evolverà la storia dopo la conclusione di questo ARC e voglio essere fiduciosa. Ci sono elementi interessanti che voglio sperare siano esplorati e sviluppati di più - tipo e nemici che volevano assalire la Edens Zero oppure il vecchio capitano della navicella... Ci siamo intesi e quindi speriamo bene!

4/5 The battle for Sun Jewel is in full. Swing we learn about what happened to Valkyrie and about Homura’s mother. We get some cool battles between Shiki and Madam Kurenai and we get to see Weisz’s new battle suit and Rebecca’s ether gear.

If you are watching the anime, this volume concludes season 1. Watching the anime and reading the manga has been great. This series doesn’t take itself seriously, and it is hilarious and fun. If you love Fairy Tail, you will love this serious. I’m nervous going forward because I must slowly absorb the future volumes. Highly recommend.

I can’t read one manga of Hiro without it being incredibly good drawn but sad. I’ve cried enough when I read Kimetsu no Yaiba and finished JoJo’s like cmon😭

It's been almost 3 months since I finished volume 7 in this series. I was able to pick this up and remember the characters after that lapse; that's how it works when you create good characters.
This series has everything I could ask for: interesting characters, humor, a good story, art that communicates and even a little fan service. I can't wait for volume 9!

There is never a time I dislike Edens Zero but I’m glad this part is over. Kurenai sucked.
