This series has got me feeling all types of things! Don't get me wrong I love Ruak's character. For the longest I wanted her to get her happiness with Kazuya, even if was just for a moment ( because he belongs with Mizuhara!) Ruka started losing me in the last volume with the lying that Kazuya was her first! Still love her but she gots to go! Kibe wants a girlfriend put hem two together. And Mami..... Just why!?!? My only issue with her is she doesn't even really know her end goal to all this. Like what does she get out of messing with them? The story is getting good though!
A truly frustrating volume. Ruka has become completely unbearable. She has become a villain for the sake of it at this point. Mami doesn't offer anything that makes the story better either. Kazuya and Mizuhara had had some meaningful development over the last couple volumes and that is all just going away. Kazuya can only say the same thing over and over again before it loses its luster. There were just enough moments between the two that made this not a one star review. I cannot wait for this arc to be over.
Ruka and her #$%^-show and Mami showing up take away stars from this volume. I get that there have to be antagonists, but I LOATHE these two. There is more than enough tension between Mizuhara and Kazuya without them that their addition is just detrimental to the series as a whole. If they all of a sudden disappeared from it and were never seen again I could only be more pleased if it had happened volumes ago.
A truly absurd situation has arisen. All the characters known so far are in Fukushima, in a Hawaiian-style SPA resort. Ruka tells a big lie. Mami now appears in every and at unimaginable moments. The author puts too much meat on the fire. It could have been over in a couple of volumes, but instead it is still going on in volume thirty-seven. With this issue number twenty-two, I'm sorry, but I'm going to stop reading the following ones.
Any issue with Ruka is going to be better than any isssue without Ruka. Still, this series is wearing out the thinnest of premises and should’ve ended a while ago. The fact that Japan is 12 issues ahead really makes me think I should just jump ship. But I’m sure I’ll give it at least a couple more issues because this one was pretty good.
Ruka my favorite character on the cover and her steadfast commitment gives this volume an instant 5 stars. Actually, it’s really for how good/bad this manga is. Trash on a high level and I love it!
Lots of fan service in this volume. There is one character I am hating on, though. There's simply nothing amicable about her despite her backstory (Ruka). And there is one character that even if many fans hate, I love the most (Mami).
Reviews for this volume assuming this one will contain Chapters 185 to 193.
