she was finally free from her ex but she is attracted to her old friends brother who is a wolf. trouble surfaces when her ex turns her. they all want something from her but no one has asked what she wants. will she get what she wants? who will she pick? will her life improve? see where she will end up

The "bad brother" finds his mate in his sisters human friend

Walter still feels the sting of his time.with Kerine. He never bothered.to explain, knowing his family wouldn't believe him. He has so many holes in his memo from that time. He tries to be content with his life now. An accidental bite from his nephew has turned him into a wolf witch, something he wanted but didn't feel he could ask for.
Amethyst has just broken up with her werewolf boyfriend who had been pressuring her to be changed, insisting they were mates. A chance touch with her highs school crush, and her friends big brother, and she imprints with him.
Walter and Amethyst have a lot to overcome. He is just start to get his memories back and fears Kerine used his magic to make something terrible. Amethyst is coming off a bad break up. While she is attracted to Walter, Maria telling her he is the bad brother colors her feelings.

Fast paced and steamy. Liked Walter's story. Really felt for him and all he went through and is still going though. Amethyst, like Maria comes of childish.

This is book 7 in the series and it is a great addition to the series. We meet Amethyst and get to know Walter better. Amethyst a human dating a shifter and does not want to be turned breaks up with him is attacked and turned into a shifter, while Walter a witch is turned to a shifter by accident. When they meet and imprint it is the last thing either wanted. Now they must deside if they are going to complete the bond or lose their wolves, while dealing with the crazy ex and the nightmares of his past. Will they complete the bond in time to save their wolves or will they walk away from it all? This series is a must read!

Another fantastic read by McKayla Schutt, this is Walter’s and Amethysts story. Walter is a male witch until he gets bitten by his nephew and turns into a werewolf, Amethyst is leaving her boyfriend and when she goes to collect her stuff from his place with Walter her ex boyfriend is there, he gets so angry with Amethyst he turns into a wolf and bites her on her ankle. Walter intercept’s him but Amethyst is starting to feel very strange and collapses. That is all I’m giving you guys so if you want to know more then you will need to get this book. There’s danger, action, magic and love everything you need in a book plus great characters. I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

I liked the story line and I liked how the characters were a mix of werewolf, magic etc but I just didn't connect with them or feel their emotions that well. I have read McKayla's Dragons of Tundra series and I connected and could feel those characters a lot more, it may be that everything just happens so quickly in Solar Eclipse so there isn't the time to get to really know them. I haven't read every book in this series so it may be that you really need to read once after the other to build the bigger picture and really get to know the characters more.

Walter has been through hell and he keeps on trying 2 make his family understand that he was trying to protect them. His sis needs 2 fully understand the situation that could be coming 2 alot of wolves even though the bitch is dead. Her ex is a asshole and deserves alot from the alpha after everything he's done 2 her even changing her against her will. It's hard when he tries 2 deny he wants babies cause of his status that his family thinks of him when they don't know the truth. It's good that his bro found out the truth about his ex gf now cause of her being a bitch when the accident happened. At least those hunters got their asses handed 2 them lol

Amethyst doesn't want to mate with the boy she's with and Walter doesn't want to mate. They meet in the supermarket and accidentally imprint on each other and Walter is a new wolf so he doesn't want to lose his wolf and when he goes to amethyst's house to get her stuff her ex boyfriend bites her and she becomes a wolf. Fast forward they mate and then amethyst starts talking about children and Walter doesn't because of what the witch did to him.

This was a very quick read. It is very well written and the flow is very good. However, sometimes Walter seems to blow up so quickly. But he does reedem himself very nicely. I loved Amethyst and fun spirited self. The story moves very quickly and sometimes it feels like it needs just a little more to show the in between times to show how time progresses. Otherwise, it is very good and is definitely worth reading.

Walter has been labeled the bad brother due to his interactions with the witch-bitch Kerine. Now he is back home with his family trying to make amends when he finds himself turned into a werewolf by accident. After only a few days he imprints and spends his time trying to figure out his forgotten memories and how to complete the bond. This book has twists and turns a plenty really enjoyed it. I couldn't put the book down till the last page. Highly recommend this to everyone that loves witches and werewolves.

This is my first book by this author, but I am on my way to Amazon to purchase other books in the series. I loved this twist on the werewolf shifter mythology as it added such an interesting dimension. The characters drew me in, and I felt like I knew them by the time the last page was turned. The author used her words to bring them to life, and I could almost feel part of their inner circle, sharing in the obstacles and more importantly the sizzling chemistry. Great read!

This is the first book in this series that I have read and I know I will be starting these books from the first one.This is Amethyst and Walter's story and I enjoyed this book from the first page until the last one. Walter has sacrificed so much for his family and they don't even know it. Amethyst just wants to be loved and respected. Thankfully even though her ex bites her and turns her into a wolf she has already imprinted with Walter and they are able to complete the mating bond and fall in love.

Great paranormal read. Loved the witches and werewolves, Amethyst and Walter are fun and relatable. Plenty of action, humor, and romance. While this is part of series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone. Loving this series!
