What happens at a fertility clinic stays at a fertility clinic...unless there's an accidental switch-a-roo...

Successful author Melanie Jane decided after a very public divorce that she would prove to the world, especially her critiques, that she didn’t need a man to make her dreams come true. So, she wrote a best seller and used a fertility clinic to get pregnant. An accidental switch-a-roo left Melanie curious…who was the father of her baby?

Coop Dawson was still grieving the loss of his twin brother when some lady showed up at the family ranch and announced that she was pregnant by Cade, impossible since he’d been gone for over a year. Coop didn’t have the patience for scam artists. He told her exactly how he felt then made her hit the road. Yet, after reading a letter from a fertility clinic, he realized she’d been telling the truth. Now he needed to turn things around fast before he lost the chance at knowing Cade’s child.

Sometimes tragedy can bring a family closer…and bring unexpected gifts.

Coop needed to step up for the first time in his life and do the right thing for everyone. He promised his brother in a late-night prayer that he’d take care of the child—but what Coop didn’t realize he was already falling for Melanie and he couldn’t imagine life without her. Will she learn to trust him? Or will he screw up every chance he’d been given?

Rhonda Lee Carver is a bestselling author of contemporary western and romantic suspense, but she loves to write other genres too. She's known for writing stories that keep readers laughing, crying, gripping the edge of their seats, and screaming all in one book...like riding a virtual roller coaster. Whether she's creating sexy cowboys or tough guys, or sassy, independent heroines, readers are sure to find strong, powerful, memorable characters that are relatable.

By day, she taps into her creative, fictional world but at some point she transitions back into reality where she's a volleyball-stands cheerleader, homework virtuoso (at least she thinks so), amateur nurse to skinned knees, mediocre chef with some awesome microwave skills, pet-guru (all the strays show up at her house), and a Jackie of all trades for her kids who are the loves of her life. Yoga and chocolate keep her sane. Hallmark movies require cuddling up with tissues because she can be emotional. She adds a sprinkle of her own real-life adventures in each story she spins because a little truth never hurt anyone. She wouldn't give up one thing in her crazy, chaotic, ever-amusing life, except, she might do magic tricks for the bungalow on the beach she's had her eye on (GOALS).

Writing for Rhonda is like falling in love and finding a new best friend over and over again. Her characters will find a place inside your heart too.

All Cowboy And Charm is a fantastic contemporary romance by Rhonda Lee Carver. This is a quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Carver has delivered a well-written book loaded with spectacular characters. Melanie is a best-selling author and since her marriage is over, decided to go to a fertility clinic to get the baby her ex never wanted. Coop and his brothers run the family ranch. When Melanie shows up saying she's pregnant by his dead brother, he thinks it's a scam. Coop and Melanie's story is loaded with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading All Cowboy & Charm and look forward to reading more from Rhonda Lee Carver in the future. This book is the first book of The Brothers of Dove Grey Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Seriously Flawed

1. The first half is well plotted. The second half, though, is a worn-out tale.
2. The grammar is poor.
3. It appears as though edits were made carelessly. For example, three words were replaced by one, but that changed the relationship with the next bit, which was not corrected. Result: confusion.
4. Continuity was poor. She was serving dessert in the home of someone she had known for 2 or 3 days--highly unlikely. She was driving a BMW that suddenly became a Mustang.
All these issues could have been avoided with a decent editor.

This is the first story in a new series about the Dawson family of Dove Grey. It’s the story of Melanie Jane and Coop Dawson. She comes to Dove Grey looking for Cade, who is Coop’s deceased brother. She’s surprised to learn of this news but the news she drops on the Dawson family is quite shocking to them. It’s a great start to the series. You’ll want to read this and find out the surprise Melanie brings to Dove Grey.

I started reading this and I thought ooh original story, and I was enjoying it.
Melanie had gone through an awful divorce after her cheating race car driver husband left her for call girl he got pregnant.
She had always wanted a baby and decided to go the fertility clinic route as she was now divorced and single.
Once the letter from the clinic arrived telling her that there had been a mix up with the sperm specimen and instead of the donor that she chose she was give one that was due to be destroyed. Through her friend Steven the were able to find out Cade Dawson was the father and she decided she needed to find out some medical history and met him.
Coop Dawson is still feeling the loss of his twin brother a year after his death. So when a woman came to the ranch wanting to see Cade and saying why...well it totally threw him for a loop. He said somethings he shouldn't have said as she left.
It wasn't until later that his Mother Candy filled him in on the truth and he realized he made an awful mistake and she spoke the truth.
They bonded and both fell for each other fast.
Being an author she decided to stay and write after getting inspiration however we didn’t find out what happened with the book if it was finished or published.
After a misunderstanding with Cade she leaves on a bus, Cade stops the bus and she gets off to talk and the bus leaves without her however her laptop and clothes were on the bus and it’s not mentioned at all!!!
It was after this that I thought it was all rushed which spoilt the story. It goes straight to the epilogue from there so very unfinished.
The epilogue she is in labour where we found out
they’d married 5 months earlier.
I felt the book left a lot of loose ends which could easily have been wrapped up nicely with a bit more adding

Melanie Jane wanted a child, she went through the process, picked a donor, and now she's pregnant. Only the fertility clinic made a mistake, the donor she picked isn't what she got. Now she's conflicted not about the pregnancy but how to find out who the donor was. She should know of any possible issues, right. Her friend and editor Steven manages to get the information, but she decides she doesn't need to know, until she does. A jigsaw puzzle of the information reveals what she wanted to know, including a phone number. When she calls the response is it's the wrong number, so that's the end of that right?

Coop Dawson and his family while still reeling from Cade's death a year ago, are planning a Rodeo in his honor with proceeds going to a charity for kids with leukemia.
He first meets Melanie as she's waiting for take-out at Corby Q's. He didn't get much of a conversation in though, that is until she shows up at his family ranch. The conversation there wasn't exactly pleasant, with Coop denying that Cade ever donated sperm to a fertility clinic. Unfortunately, he finds out otherwise and owes Melanie an apology which he delivers with an offer to show her around and an invite to dinner.

While these circumstances are very unusual, the attraction between Cade and Melanie grows exponentially.

A fun read with laughter, tears and sizzle!

Grabbed my heart strings

What a great story. Melanie had gone through a horrific divorce after her cheating famous face dad driver husband left her for another woman. She had always wanted a family and decided to go the fertility clinic route instead of the old fashion way. After her ex she didn't trust her judgement in men anymore. The came the letter from the clinic telling her that there had been a mix up and instead of the donor that she chose she was give that of us that was supposed to have been destroyed instead. Through her friend Steven the were an!e to find out that the do or was Cases Dawson. She decided she needed to go and met him and get some family health history for the baby.

Cool Dawson is still feeling the loss of his twin brother Care a year after his death. So t to say it was a who I when the woman came to the ranch wanting to see Care and saying why...well it naturally threw him for a loop. He said somethings he shouldn't have said as she left. It wasn't until later that his Mother Candy filled him in on the truth and he realized he made a dreadful mistake. Will be be able to repair the damage? Or will be to too far a chase the woman away that he is calling in love with.

Unexpected gift

All cowboy and charm is an understatement about this book.

Sometimes tragedy can bring a family closer.....and brings unexpected gifts. Coop needed to step up for the first time in his life and do the right thing for everyone.

Coop wasn't sure when Melanie showed up at the family ranch and announced she was pregnant by Cade via fertility clinic a year after he passed away from cancer that she was telling the truth. But their mother knew about what Cade had done just in case he would survive cancer and have a child at some time down the road.

Little did Coop know he had lost his ever-loving mind falling in love with Melanie, not for the baby, but for her. He would go after her if he had to.

Not the end but only the beginning..... Happy reading!

Sweet and emotionally touching

Finding out a mix-up at the fertility clinic resulted in her being inseminated an unknown man’s sperm is more than a shock for Melanie. She decides to learn more about the father of her unborn baby and finds a sexy cowboy and a loving family.

Coop is shocked when the woman he’d been eyeing at the bar knocks on his ranch house and she tells him she’s pregnant with his dead twin brother’s baby. Impossible because his twin had been dead for over a year.

This romance gets off on the wrong foot, but when Coop learns he was wrong he makes every effort to apologize. Apologies turn to kisses and a lot more.

Mix up miracle.

Melanie had always wanted children so after divorcing her cheating husband she goes to a fertility clinic. She finds out that not only is she pregnant but the sperm donor isn't the one she had carefully selected. After discovering the identity of her baby's father, she goes to see him. When she confronts Coop, the father's twin brother, she learns that Cade has died a year ago. Once over the shock of this news how will everyone react to the news that a part of Cade is still here?

Cute, but a bit fast

I know everything is condensed in a romance, but a 36-hour love story is a little hard to take. Chemistry is lovely, but you need to talk, too. This had potential to be a much better book, if only the characters had been fleshed out a bit more. OK, quite a bit more. All we really learn is that they're good-looking and the people around them are interesting.

So wonderful

Oh I so enjoyed this story a twin brother lost but due to today's technology a replacement was in the process from the fertility clinic to a single woman who desired a child the wonderful things that happened after her decision to find more out about the family will leave you smiling at the end you will want to invest in this series as there are five more hunky cowboy stories to read

Coop at 36 and 6 2, the oldest of seven brothers lost half his soul a year ago when his identical twin Cade died of cancer. Melanie arrives declaring she is pregnant with that twin’s son via a sperm bank to which he didn’t know his twin donated. Of all the means of getting a romance started.

Successful author Melanie Jane (divorced) wanted a baby. She found the perfect match and was inseminated - but now the fertility clinic is saying that it was from some random man.
Melanie finds the information about who the donor was. It was nice when she arrived at the ranch to meet the donor. Unfortunately, he had died a year ago.
I really liked reading this story. Characters were lovely, especially all the wonderful cowboys and storyline was good. A nice easy read. 4☆

I loved this book.

Imagine using a sperm bank to pick out a donor for your baby then receive a letter in the mail saying there has been a mix up.

Melanie goes to the family ranch looking to meet Cade. Instead she meets his twin brother Coop who tells her his brother died a year ago from cancer and that this is not funny.

Along the way Melanie and Coop fall in love and get married and their son is born and they name him after Cade

Great Love Story

It's nice to read a love story that has a bit of sizzle without being porn! MS Carver has a way with words that brings romance, warmth, and that down-home feeling into the story. Coop and Melanie made the perfect couple and what better gift to fill the holes in the hearts of a whole family. I'm already headed for the next book in the series!

Good read

Very short, but sweet. A mistake in a lab and a baby was on the way. But not the chosen father from the fertility clinic. A mix up in the lab gives her a different baby daddy. Now she wants to know about the donor and what she finds at the end is more than she wanted to know. Recommend.

Simple minded boring drivel

One of the worst written & edited steaming piles of excrement that I've ever seen.

An example of the quality of her writing:

“My grandfather was a lying adulterous.”

She also seems to be too cheap to actually pay a real editor. She insults potential readers with her sloppy, slapdash writing. Yuck!

While I enjoyed the story overall, and the premise, I’d have liked a few more details as to how Coop and Melanie could fall so quickly for each other. I certainly get that it was possible, but I just wanted to know more about them. The Dawson family was very sweet, and I hope to read more about them in other books.

All Cowboy and Charm: WOW! Excellent story! It has a lot of emotion throughout. Never a dull moment on the Dawson Ranch! A family that had been through a lot. Coop Dawson is still hurting from the death of his twin brother Cade. When Melanie Jane shows up at the family ranch & says she's pegnant by Cade, he's quite skeptical. There's an attraction between Coop & Melanie but they don't trust each other. After a misunderstanding, can they learn to trust each other? What a great start the series!

Sweet romantic novel.

Things that bothered me:
* I didn’t feel the connection between the characters, not even familiar connections between the brothers
* Ending was rushed, compared to the buildup of the start.
* A few grammatical errors that annoyed me
* The car crash was an unnecessary inclusion - added just so the heroine was in the hero’s room to see paperwork.

This is my second time reading this book. I loved it the first time, but for some reason I didn’t write a review. I read it again, because I knew I liked it that much. The whirlwind romance between Coop and Melanie swept me up in every emotion they were struggling through. She brought them the treat that any family who lost a loved one would want. I couldn’t put down the book until I finished it.

I love the characters

I enjoyed this for the most part but there was something that bothered me with their story...I just can't put my finger on what. Something just kept me from being fully immersed in the story.

Guided from above.

A brother's promise comes true. Can a brother guide the love life of the ones he left behind? Rhonda Lee Carter has given us cowboys times seven. How will the other brothers fare? I can nor wait for the next story.
