Well this series is pretty good but as I said I wish there was more,,,lance moves in with Harry because someone wants to kill Lance and Carl has been told that Harry is the one who Killed his brother so we will find out in the next book what happens ,,,
Once again I enjoyed reading this short book and recommend that you read it as well. My only complaint is they're all to short and I have to go to another book to continue the story.
Carter Clan starts off where The Pack ends. This is the fourth book in the A New Moon series. The previous books should be read in order as this is not a stand alone work.
Things are getting complicated for all the three main characters. The lives of Lance, Harry and Carl are beginning to intertwine. Fate or should we say certain Mr A has been doing some manipulations behind the scenes creating trouble for our main leads. Lance has gotten himself into deeper trouble with his snooping around since he got caught on camera during his trip to the morgue. His love life is no better at least on the earlier parts of this book as he had just broken up with Carl but things seem to be heating up once again between him and Harry.
The tense atmosphere, the feeling of something big about to happen is ramping up in this fourth part of the series. The clues laid out in the previous books, the questions left unanswered and the relationships created, the tiny interactions from side characters and the MCs have some pay off here. Lance, Harry and Carl are interesting characters with their own problems to solve on their own. They grow on you as time goes though at times the progression of their individual stories seems to go way too fast for the reader to properly have a grasp on what is going on. The flow of the story feels bumpy in some sections - pacing being a bit too fast then suddenly a lull that makes no sense. The story does set up the last part quite nicely as it leaves one wondering on what will be the fate of our main characters.
Despite all the flaws mentioned, Carter Clan was an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the conclusion of this series. I am giving this a 4 stars out of 5.

Lance, Harry and Carl are interesting characters. Book 4 starts off with Lance being shocked at Harry’s visit. Harry has come to tell him that his life is in danger. But he sort of drags it out to where Lance gets frustrated because he doesn’t give him the details. Instead he wants to come inside his house. Lance figures he is just trying to get back into his life after having disappeared on him. But he agreed to let him inside with the promise he would leave as soon as he provides details about why Lance is in danger.
Apparently the danger was because Lance was seen when he broke into the morgue, caught on camera. The police wanted to bring him in, but Harry was able to stop them. This did not comfort Lance, however, since Harry said he was in danger which he would not be if the police were no longer after him. Harry was referring to the secrets Lance uncovered which have put him in danger – about the werewolves. And Lance suddenly realized Harry himself had to be a werewolf! Would Harry kill him now? Or will he instead choose to protect him? And who was it that Harry was warning him about, who would want to hurt him and why? Was Harry saying he would have to fight for Lance’s life in The Apex to save him – a fight to the DEATH? And then he calmly informed Lance that the first step in protecting him requires Lance to move to Harry’s penthouse immediately. Things were getting complicated!
Next sequel of the New Moon Series, again full of suspense and a bit of heat. In this part we continue to follow mainly Lance and Carl on their adventures through the territorital quarrels of the werewolf packs. Like usual, the author creates a captivating atmosphere and uses a very livid writing style, which makes you feel like witnessing the protagonists just like being next to you or like watching them in a tv series. And same as any tv series, it stops right when the tension is the biggest, and you have to wait for the next sequel to follow up. I am awaiting the next and last episode impatiently and expect a little fireworks around their fight for power, leadership and freedom. All episodes will have to be read in sequence, they are definitely no standalones. But anyhow, due to the short extent of each episode, it would be recommendable to read them all in one go. I will for sure be a bit sad when with the next book the story will come to an end. 5 stars from me for an enthralling story with lovable characters, and I can only deeply hope that my favorite couple will finally come together.
So much drama Firstly I must explain that this is the first book that I’ve read by this author and in the series so I was extremely confused at the beginning and it took me a lot of time to get into the story but that’s on me because I’ve not read the other books in the series.
When I did started to get into the book I really enjoyed it I know there’s some drama with Harry Lance and Carl but I think I would have to read the other books in the series to really really enjoy this one but overall I really got into it and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
