A step back to book one...

Great story ... Awesome characters... Yet crappy editing and proofreading again. It really knocks a reader out of the story when the author refers to on MC when he really is referring to the other. Or has words in a sentence that are random and don't fit. I will be reading book 4 when it is released cuz I love these guys and want to see Ghosts story. Here is hoping the author puts as much work in presenting a quality book with no errors as they have always done telling their story.

Another wonderful sweet story by Fel Fern. As always there are many grammatical errors, but I don’t care. I enjoy her stories too much to let that bother me. I think that River and Hawke were two of my favorite characters in this series. Although I always love a grumpy Alpha so I’m looking forward to Ghost and Antonio’s story.

Hawke and River were beautiful together. Hawke took his time to woo his omega and earn his trust.

River was an amazing with Michael - always putting him first. Michael was sweet and adorable but my heart shattered every time his little face fell with disappointment.

Fantastic book and I really enjoyed it.

Hedgehog For Hawke
By Fel Fern

River has been caring for his twin brother, Reece's, son practically since birth. Reece has always been more interested in chasing the latest hot alpha in sight than being a responsible parent to Michael. Though River hasn't dated since he started caring for Michael he wonders if there might be an alpha out there for him after all when he meets Hawke, a brother of his bosses company. Hawke has always been a player, but after his brothers Hunter and Walker mated and started having kids he's beginning to think it's time to settle down.

The story was okay. Hated Reece. It was just a little disappointing. The storyline wasn't all it could have been.

The book is in both River and Hawke's POV. The angst level is medium.

Perfect for one another
What a fantastic read.
In hedgehog for Hawke we learn about Omega River who is looking after his nephew Micheal for his twin brother Reece, who is a waste of space. His brother basically has never wanted Michael doesn’t ask about him in all the three years that Michael has been with him, River has cared for him like a father. When he moves for a job Michael moved with him and his brother couldn’t even care where they moved to if honest. River just wanted to do his job and take care of Michael but when he meets Alpha Hawke things change.
Alpha Hawke has always been on the go he’s only been home visit his family for awhile but he’s thinking of moving on again. He has really enjoyed getting to know his nieces and spending time with his brothers and their mates but he starting to get itchy feet. And then he sees the most gorgeous man ever. Looking very lost he’s got a little boy with him and he works out that he is the new PA for Hunter. He just wants to stay with him there’s something about this guy that’s making him rethink everything.
The attraction between Hawke and River is off the charts you can tell that they are just going to be perfect for one another. But River’s brother could be an issue.
This is such a tender story that it just made my heart sing I couldn’t read the book fast enough and I was extremely gutted when I got to the end but I am super and I mean SUPER Excited about Ghost’s story because that one is going to be a doozy!!!!!!

Can an adorable hedgehog tame a wild wolf? Fate says Yes!

I am so in love with this series! All my friends welcomed me back. I went willingly into their embrace. This segment has it all: laughter, joy, cute kids, brotherly love, acceptance, sweet, knotty heat, all wrapped up in a low angst romp on the road to HEA. Hawke doesn't want a mate. But when he meets River, one sniff is enough for his wolf to cry "Mate!". River has raised his brother's son, Michael, since birth. Only Reece isn't dead, he's just gone. Starting a new job, in a new town, & raising a 3 year old, River doesn't have time for a relationship. But Hawke thinks River & Mike's hedgehogs are adorable; and he will stop at nothing to make them his family. Even Reece's re-appearance can't ruin their romance.
There is one unmated brother left, Ghost. I can't wait for the next book! Please, do yourself a favor. Read the previous books in order. You will be glad you did!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Wanderer nevermore

Our loveable nomad, Hawke, finally meets the persons to make him out down roots! River and Michael are the sweetest uncle/nephew pair ever and they just moved to town. Like Hawke, River has some family and past relationship issues that cause him to be shy of any new commitment. He just wants to start his new job and raise his nephew as best he can. Well we all know fated mates don't work like that and it appears as if Hawke and River are indeed fated. But Reece, the twin brother of River and dad to Mike, shows up and causes some drama for everyone! Can their bond survive the disruption and actually complete the mate mark or will Reece and his antics wreck everything? Seeing the nomadic Hawke get wrapped up in an omega with a child was great. Not only because you never expected him to settle down but because of all the laughs he had at Walker and Hunter's expense. This was a sweet story and I enjoyed how much River loved and cared for his little family. Another good book in the series.

This is a fun, sweet and entertaining story. After he realizes that his affair with his boss was a big mistake, River wants to start fresh with a new job in a new town. He takes a job as a PA and he and his nephew move. He had been raising 3 year old Mike since he was a baby, because his brother was too busy chasing men to care for his child. When he arrives to work on his first day, he runs into an Alpha on the elevator, and is disturbed by the man and his reaction to him. Hawke sees the Omega and is drawn to him, but his cocky attitude has River running the other way. Hawke isn't willing to give up though, so he decides to earn his trust before asking him out. The three of them begin to bond immediately, but the past is in the way of their hea. Hawke is stubborn, protective and caring. River is determined, strong and hard working. They are a charming couple who will make you smile at their antics.

Hawke finally gets him happy ending! And he finds it with a sweet and caring hedgehog shifter named River. River is a hard working omega taking care of his nephew because his twin brother cares more about himself then his child.

River is weary of Hawke at first and is reluctant to allow the Alpha into his life but soon he sees that the once playboy is his fated mate. But it’s not all heart and candy and they will have to deal with River’s twin Reece and all of his drama. I think the one thing I didn’t like about this book was how River didn’t have a backbone when it came to Reece. He let him get away with way too much before he snapped. Most people would have kicked him out from the start. And he let him get away with treating his son, Hawke and everyone else so poorly.

That being sad I still really liked this book and it was so nice to see the fun living Hawke get his happy ending too.

Hawke and River's Story . . .

Hawke Olsen is a restless Alpha wolf shifter who constantly moves around from place to place in his job, a born wanderer, although seeing pack members settled with mates and family, he occasionally wonders if he could ever have that kind of life.

River Harmon, an Omega hedgehog shifter, moved to town with his 3-year-old nephew and has started a new job. (The boy’s father is not a very good dad, so River has stepped in to help.) He meets Hawke who is everything he has ever wanted in a mate. But Hawke doesn’t seem like the kind to want to settle down. Will Hawke convince River they are mates? Can River give Hawke a reason to stick around and trust he won’t leave? Is Hawke actually ready to finally settle down and make a real home with his mate?

It's not a sacrifice, when love is involved! Adorable! River is raising his nephew, Mike because his twin Reece is too self centered to take care of his son himself. Hawke, who prefers to be single, footloose and fancy free, suddenly wants to plant roots and is attracted to River. He jumps totally out of character in his single minded pursuit of River. Will River slow down and let Hawke catch him? Is Hawke ready to put his maps away? How does Mike adapt to another new change. Is Reece okay with a new man in Mike's life? Nice story. Interesting conflict resolutions. Antonio is still helping, but what's he doing with Ghost? Good story, soul stirring and heart affirming. Well done! How cute is a hedgehog and a wolf? Book three into another shifter series about unique fated mates.

Omega River is a hedgehog shifter. Caring for his twin brother, Reece's child, he decides to relocate. Taking a position at Claws, Inc., he never imagined the turn his life would take.

Alpha Hawke is not looking for love... well, sort of. He is the brother who is always on the open road. When he witnesses the life his brother Walker and friend Hunter have with their fated mates and kids, he begins to wonder if he'll ever have that.

Hawke does not exactly have the reputation for being a one omega kind of guy. Then he is faced with the impossible- an omega named River. Hawke has the personality, compassion and patience to gain the trust of this man.
With River having so much on his plate - absent brother, his nephew, and a new job- to name a few. Will either be ready to sacrifice? Give this relationship what it needs?

Now, for the highly anticipated story for me, the book for Ghost. He's the most intriguing of the four shifters. In Hawke's book, you begin to see some of bricks in his wall, crumble.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved the characters and their interaction with each other. This is a story of Hawke and his fated mate River. River is now working for Claws Inc. working with Hunter and Walker. He has his nephew who he has been raising since he was young. Hawke recognises River as his mate, but now he has to convince River of that fact. This was a really sweet story and it had that certain edge to the story that we are used to with this author’s work. You won’t be able to put it down until you’ve reached the last page. There is a happily ever after for this lovely couple.

River is a twin but his brother doesn’t care about his own son so River has had his nephew for 3 years River loves him but the boy needs his dad. River moved to a new town to start a new job he’s had to take Michael with him and now River has too much to do he hasn’t even unpacked his boxes, River is the assistant to Hunter the CO- CEO of Claws Inc and he’s excited to start working there. Hawke is Walker’s brother who is happily mated Hawke doesn’t want a mate but when he meets River he was slowly changing his mind, it’s not an easy road for these two but they find a way. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I'm giving this 5 stars mainly for the adorableness of the hedgehogs. To say I enjoyed reading this is an understatement. This was sweet, fun and adorable. Little to no drama other than River's family issues but that was resolved quite nicely towards the end. River and Hawke as a couple was a nice match. I was happy Hawke found a mate and his restless heart was able to settle and have a family. I loved River and Hawke's HEA and can't wait for the next book in the series.

I loved Hedgehog for Hawke by Fel Fern. It's the third book in the Claws Inc. series. I loved Hawke and River. They had great chemistry, and Hawke was great with Mike. I loved that River's brother, Reece, was getting his life straightened out at the end and made the hard decision to give his brother, River, custody of his son, Mike. I eagerly await the last book in the series, which will be about Ghost, and I'm hoping his omega will be Antonio.

This is an easy, fun read. The kid is cute, the alpha is hot, and omega is cute, strong, and a bit sassy. I liked how Hawke found his home with River and no longer felt that drive to wander. Either there was less "my alpha" and "my omega" than the first book or I'm just not in the same nitpicky mood. I don't know if I'd be as forgiving to Reece but...*shrug* A hedgehog is such a cute shifter! I'm looking forward to Ghost's story. He's a stubborn guy, don't know how Antonio is going to break through his thick walls.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. When Hawke meets River and Michael, he ditches his wanderlust ways to settle to be with River. Michael is River's brother's son but River is raising him. They develop their relationship and are close to committing when Reece comes. Reece is very selfish and not father material but is finally convinced to get his life together. Reece gives custody of Michael to River and Hawkes mates with River.

This was such a fun and very heartwarming read. I was so happy for Hawke and his mate, River. I loved how well they worked together and communicated with each other so there would be no misunderstandings. I also loved how they would take pictures with their cell phone every time a precious and cute moment occurred with the kids or one another. I'm looking forward to Ghost's story. This absolutely brought a smile to my heart.

One is determined to raise his nephew, one has always been a wanderer. Fate put them together, but will they give their love a chance? Will others come between them?

These two were cute! I loved how dedicated Hawke was to proving he was serious about their relationship. I definitely loved River's relationship with this nephew. Another Fel Fern hit!
