Best book of the series thus far!

Absolutely adore this series! Awesome world building, characters that make you root for them and kinda make you wish shifters were real! Got my fingers crossed and hoping there are more books coming in this series!

FORBIDDEN MOON is the fourth book in the Gladstone Shifters series and you really need to read this as a series rather than a set of standalones.

Now, I've been waiting for Jonah's story, desperately needing the Omega to get his HEA but Luna (or maybe Mr Elliott) decided he wasn't going to have it easy - oh no! Instead, during a time when humans are threatening the pack with exposure and death, Luna decides to make his human mate known. There are a whole host of problems with a human/shifter mating, not the least of which is that RJ didn't have the first clue that shifters actually existed.

As with all these books, it's an emotional ride. I found myself welling up within the first 2%! RJ is a sweetheart who deserves all the good stuff, and that includes Jonah. Oh man, these two melted my heart.

The overall story arc is in full swing and I am LOVING how it all comes together. There is a huge character cast to this series so it definitely keeps you on your toes with just who is who and who they are mated to, if any. The pacing is perfect, giving you a plentiful mix of steam, action, and quiet times to get your breath back.

This series is a wonder - every book gives you something new. And it isn't over yet! Woot!!! I can't wait for this series to continue so I can lost in the lives of the Gladstone shifters once more.

Absolutely and utterly recommended!

Gladstone faces yet more danger.

There’s a lot going on simultaneously in this, probably the most complex in the series thus far, so the story has to jump around several characters, until it all comes together in an explosive end. More hot and steamy, a great romance and HEA, a massive threat to the shifters existence to be overcome and more plot twists, with more big changes still to come.

A brilliantly woven meliu that is only getting better.

Alexander has been developing a great series of novels that have grown in leaps and bounds. The meliu that he has created around the Gladstone pack and the characters he has fleshed out with a lot of detail and background are a delicious addition to the shifter and lgbt community. Im pleased to see an interracial couple and human become the central characters in this instalment of his series. I'm truly excited to see where the tale goes next. A big shoutout and Thank you for bringing this episode onto kindle unlimited just in time for me.

Another Surprising Mate For Gladstone

Through the first three books about the wolf shifters of the Gladstone Pack, they faced many trials and threats, along with great joy in meeting their fated mates. This time, the threats and the fated mate came from the human world around them. The story moves quickly as new revelations and twists and turns continue push the story forward. It was hard to find a place to stop reading. There needs to be at least one more book in the series, if not more.

The story continues

Always happy to dive back into the Gladstone universe. More excitement with mates discovering each other, lots of antics by the children, and dealing with dangerous future changes.

Amazing story!

This story had everything... Love, lust, friendships, family, new beginnings, loss....I had to keep stopping while reading, not ready to finish and have to say goodbye to the pack from Gladstone... I laughed, wept and rejoiced right along with the pack as events unfolded....what a wonderful and amazing story.....now I want to know what happens next......(maybe only Luna knows!)

The best book of the series, so far. It was even enjoyable! I'm happy to report this one (unlike the second and third in this series) boasts of a solid protagonic couple, Jonah and RJ. And it sticks to their story! It also has a conflict! It still has its moments in which it gets side tracked to side characters, but it's not as prominent, distracting or bothersome as in the previous books.
It feels like, for the first time in this series, Alexander wrote a plot outline and stuck to it. No random side quests! He had the skill, just needed a solid plan. This is a promising turn as far as the series goes. I hope the next book is as well edited as this one.

This series goes from strength to strength. Building on the previous 3 books, the central characters Jonah and Rascal' s journey to find each other. The problem is Luna has chosen a human (first time in memory) as jonah's mate. The wonderfulness of these books is that you also get the storyline of the previous books' central characters and a continuation on how the struggle for the existence of the pack is progressing. The book, though, introducing a new couple, also keeps the other characters central to the storyline.

This is one of the best MM romance shifter books I have read, and I have an extensive collection of them!
The world building from book 1 of the series is phenomenal and well worth checking out.
The "scenes" are exceptionally well thought out and written. If you know, you know. 5☆

I hesitated on picking this up because I detested the 3rd book and the lack of focus on the 2 fated mates.

This was as good as books 1 and 2
