But falling for him? That’s not optional at all.

Author’s note: SHIELDING HIS BABY has a HEA, no cheating and no cliffhanger!
Author’s note part deux: Shielding His Baby was previously published as Proving His Worth by Cari Quinn through Samhain Publishing in 2014. This edition has a new cover and has been lightly re-edited.
USA Today bestselling author Cari Quinn grew up wanting to be a singer more than anything else. When she realized she probably wouldn’t be hired as the opening act for the Foo Fighters, she stopped singing and started writing. Now she happily writes about rock stars, MMA fighters, suited heroes, bodyguards and everything in between. And she blasts her music as loud as the neighbors can stand, because hey, she’ll always be a rock star in her own head.
She's also half of the duo Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott, as well as one half of the USA Today bestselling author Taryn Quinn, who writes steamy small town romantic comedies (among other things.)
I so enjoyed and devoured every word I read of this story. This one is so hot and the sexy beast is about to learn a few things from a dirty, filthy hot girl. Sterling Vance, is another sexy hero and the third member of the "Deuces Wild" bodyguard business. He's prim and proper, suit wearing man and he carry's it well. Angelina/Ang is the daughter of Sterling's best friend. She's in trouble and in need of his expertise. She's also pregnant.
Out of the three books in this series, I like this one the best. Sterling is such a good guy that nobody can picture him as being anything other than boring. Angelina has always had a crush on Sterling but because she ended up pregnant, she is convinced that he will not want to have anything to do with her. When he discovers that someone is harrassing her, he moves her into his house to better protect her. When she offers up sex, he takes her up on it but ends up bungling things. Things up getting awkward between them, which is something neither one wants but doesn't know how to address. When they finally give in, they both don't want things to end. Angelina, however is hiding a secret from Sterling and is afraid of how he will react if he finds out. When he accidentally finds out, he is hurt and angry at first but decides he will just wait for Angelina to tell him her secret. When the baby daddy tries to blackmail Angelina by threatening Sterling's career, she feels like she finally needs to confront him to get him out of her life. Things don't go as planned but end up working out for the best. I really liked the ending because it shows what happened to Sterling and Angelina and what their future holds
Sterling Vance works with Chase and Jax in their bodyguard business. When his friend’s pregnant daughter admits she’s being stalked by her ex, he makes it his business to guard and protect her by moving her in with him. She’s younger and off limits. Soon they realize there is an attraction between them. These two have you laughing and enjoying every minute of their road to love. I couldn’t get enough of seeing the changes in Sterling as he and Angelina became involved. A great read that makes you realize opposites do attract!
Fun, sexy and smoking fast this third book with Angelina and Sterling focused most of its time on building their relationship.
With a good bit of the first two couples together and separately supporting the pair said relationship still had a few speed bumps to work out on the way to their finale HEA.
I’m pretty sure Cari Quinn will be taking out a restraining order against me after this review. I have loved this series from the beginning, but with each book I become more convinced that Cari and I are destined to be BFF’s. Seriously, this woman knows how to write a book with everything I love included; an alpha male hero who is a little geeky but highly protective-check, a smart mouthed, quick witted, slightly off centered heroine with a heart of gold-check, intelligent banter laced with dirty talking-check, hot as hell intimate scenes-check, a fantastic supporting cast-check, and a happily ever after that makes me smile-check, check and check! To top it off the woman quotes Fleetwood Mac, so I just know we’d get along just fine. In all seriousness Cari Quinn is an author I’ve been reading regularly since I first discovered her work and I simply can’t get enough. In Proving His Worth she throws two people who seem like polar opposites together and it was so damn fun to watch them figure out how to handle one another. A very uptight finely bred man with a woman nine years his junior and who happens to be the daughter of a man he considers a friend makes for a very entertaining story. Watching prim and proper Sterling Vance unravel and find the passionate guy underneath his suit was truly a thing of beauty just as much as watching Angelina McFee learn her own self worth and that despite everything she is a strong person who is more than capable of standing on her own two feet. These two made a lot of mistakes along the way mostly due to their unwillingness to share their true feelings but the one thing that impressed me no matter what was happening, no matter how it made him feel Sterling would not give up. He knew what he wanted and even when he hurt, he was there for Angelina. He is a special man and he proves it over and over. While at time Angelina frustrated me, I had to remind myself she is young and she is dealing with an impossible situation. She grew on me throughout the book mainly because of the way she so readily jumps to Sterling’s defense when she thinks he needs it. From the beginning these two have chemistry in spades and while they have a few issues figuring out what to do with it from the start once they do get there their passion burns brightly. There are some pretty hot emails flying between them as well and quite a few really hot encounters that will give you all kinds of ideas. However, there is a lot going on in this book and the extreme sexiness only makes this book better than it already is. Their story has multiple layers and each one is more delicious than the next. With each book I fall more deeply into scary fan girl territory with author Cari Quinn. She simply writes what I love and for that I’m grateful. I have loved every book in the Deuces Wild series but there is just something about this book that has it sitting on the top of the heap. A great book for me is one I want to jump inside and join in the fun and craziness and Proving His Worth does exactly that and more. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also fun, outrageous, and spectacularly sexy and I have no doubt that Ms. Quinn has another hit on her hands.
Sterling Vance is kinda dull and boring. In the last book, Sterling and Jax were like a good comedy team...Jax was the funny guy to Sterling's "straight man" character. They could be the new "New Odd Couple." Sterling by himself? Stuffy, stodgy and not really interesting enough for his own book, IMO.
Angelina was just...stupid. She was squarely in TSTL territory. Needless to say, I didn't like her.
There was a little bit of a danger element, which always makes these stories better, more exciting...but not enough to counteract the personalities of the main characters.
The best part of the story (to me) was the fact that Chase had Sterling's back when the trouble came down. Yeah.
I usually love Taryn Quinn's books, but this series? Nah.
I loved reading this book. I couldn't put it down even when I was tired and falling asleep I wanted to keep reading it. I would love to read the rest of them

•••••••••••••
REVIEW: 3.75 stars--SHIELDING HIS BABY is the third instalment in Taryn Quinn’s (Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn) contemporary, adult DEUCES WILD erotic, romance series. This is thirty-one year old bodyguard and businessman Sterling Vance, and twenty-three year old Masters’ student Angelina McFee’s story line. SHIELDING HIS BABY picks up immediately after the events of book two Guarding His Best Friend’s Sister but can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: SHIELDING HIS BABY is the re-release and re-edited version of Cari Quinn’s August 2014 release Proving His Worth.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Sterling and Angelina) SHIELDING HIS BABY follows the building relationship between childhood friends bodyguard and businessman Sterling Vance, and Master’s student Angelina McFee. Pregnant, alone, and recent college dropout, twenty-three year old Angelina McFee struggles with what’s to come next including the ongoing threats by the man who fathered her unborn child, a man who is unwilling to step up and take responsibility for yet another fatherless child. Requiring help, and a possible bodyguard for the foreseeable future Ang comes clean with her childhood friend, businessman and newly minted protector Sterling Vance, and the man with whom Ang will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Sterling and Ang, and the potential fall-out as Ang’s past threaten everything she wants, and the man that she loves.
SHIELDING HIS BABY is an erotic story line; a highly sexual tale about two people pulled together by need, desire, and a palpable sexual attraction that does not go unnoticed by our leading couple. Angelina McFee is a pierced, tattooed, strong willed, sexually competent young woman who isn’t afraid to go after the man she wants, a man to whom she has been lying – a fake dating profile, and papers served force Angelina to go it alone or come clean and reveal the depth of her lies. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic, seductive and intense. Angelina likes to talk dirty forcing a once stoic and old-fashioned Sterling out of his comfort zone, willing to try something new.
All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters including Chase and Summer (Protecting His Rockstar #1), and Jax and Cassidy (Guarding His Best Friend’s Sister #2). We are introduced to Angelina’s father Marcus McFee; Sterling’s ex Tricia; and the requisite evil-the baby’s father-Pete Lamont.
SHIELDING HIS BABY is a sexy and spicy, character driven story line. The premise is spirited; the romance is captivating and provocative; the characters are colorful, lively, dynamic-a passionate couple struggling against the odds, and the secrets that threaten them all.
The third installment in the Deuces Wild series features Sterling Vance who is an uptight GQ guy who likes to keep his life in order through spreadsheets. He has known Heroine Angelina for years and he regularly plays golf with her father. Ang is in a bit of a mess -flying by the seat of her pants, just trying to survive a shock pregnancy and rejection by the baby’s father.
The Heroine’s various predicaments brings Sterling’s protective instincts to the fore and he corrals her to move in with him while her life is in crisis. She is not used to being cared for in this way, and it takes some time for them to get to know each other’s feelings and motivations. Of course moving in together, and lusting after each other, results in complicated sexting and sexual shenanigans. I loved how gentle and caring Sterling is from the start of Angelina and the baby. Her first ultrasound appointment is hilarious and heart warming.
Sterling’s sex life has been relatively classy and tame up to this point, and Angelina is the one who is more sexually liberated, adventurous and provocative. She takes Sterling waaay out of what he thought was his comfort zone, to new sexual practices and thrills that he discovers he never knew he wanted, but thoroughly enjoys.
Conflict in the story is provided by their huge lack of communication that leads to a series of misunderstandings, and they are both emotionally immature in their responses. Their mixed signals to each other takes time to unravel. Like the other male leads in this series, the guys all have their moments of frustrating dickishness.
Sterling’s confused (and what seems out of character) responses to their first two sexual encounters created a bit of a downer. Spoiler ahead *His inexplicable walking away and shutting down immediately after initial sexual encounters could be a huge trigger for some readers.* Eventually they figure out their own stuff and figure out each other’s stuff, and they get their HEA after more drama around Angelina's Ex.
It was nice to see that Chase and Jax were there for Sterling when he needed them the most, and it was lovely seeing Cass and Summer immediately treat Angie as one of their own, and she is embraced as part of their extended family. Final Rating: 4.5 Stars

Oh God, I love Sterling and Angelina together! He's the buttoned up (so she thinks), proper friend of her father who's 8 years older than she who decides he's going to put his newly acquired bodyguarding skills to use with her when she lets him know someone's harassing her. So he moves her into his home and their never before acknowledged (or realized) attraction explodes at the close quarters contact.
She's an almost 23 year old pregnant Master's student, he's a smart, proper businessman turned bodyguard who is in business with his two friends (Chase and Jax from Protecting His Rockstar and Guarding His Best Friend's Sister). They haven't formally made him a partner in their new business, but you just know that's coming soon, especially after the events of Shielding His Baby. I loved seeing Sterling's dirty side come out when he and Angelina were around each other, even when she didn't realize to whom she was talking on the dating app. And I loved it even more when Ang came to the realization just how much she could trust him, fall for him.
Although Shielding His Baby is a standalone, the other two stories in this series are Chase and Jax's stories, so if you are thinking of just picking Shielding His Baby up without reading them too, I'd advise you to 1-click them also, it will help make this whole world that much more complete. I think this one is my favorite so far. Sterling is so sweet and seemingly proper, but beneath that sweet outer layer, he's a dirty, dirty man. He's such a contrast to bold, sassy Angelina. Opposites attract can be a beautiful thing in the right author's hands, and nobody can do a classic trope better than Taryn and Cari, so get to 1-clicking!
This is book 3in the Deuces Wild series. It's about Sterling Vance and Angelina Mcfee. We saw the start of their book at the end of book 2. Sterling is the straight laced, suit wearing, uptight man who has been helping Chase and Jax get their business off the ground and running. Ang is the daughter of one of Sterling's good friends, even though he is only 8 years older than her. At the end of the previous book we saw him going after Ang as she was leaving the bingo hall to try to get answers on not only why she is working there but how she can be pregnant. Little did he know exactly what was going on and because he considered her a good friend that he would step up and make sure that she was not only safe but have what she needed to take care of her baby.
I loved this book! Sterling was one that I was really hoping we would see that there was more to him than just the very uptight man he was portrayed as in the other books. And boy is he!!! He is a stand up man who really wants to find his special someone and have the family he always dreamed of, but he is also unsure of himself in certain areas which makes him absolutely lovable! Ang is this younger, snarky woman who tries really hard to do what needs to be done but she also doesn't realize her own self worth. When Sterling moves her into his house to help her, he sets of a series of events just by not thinking before he speaks (or types). And it definitely changes both their lives, but only for the better. I loved how they are together. Ang manages to show Sterling that he can have fun and still be the stand up person that he is. And he also realizes just how many real friends' that he truly has when they both need them. Great read!! And can I just say, I really loved the tidbits we saw of Ang's friend Brandy! I would love to see something about her!
We got glimpses of Sterling in the previous Deuces Wild books (although you don't need to read them to enjoy this book), I was definitely intrigued by him and couldn't wait to read his story.
Sterling is a successful man that has worked for the bodyguard company with Jax and Chase, however they won't make him a partner even though he seems to have the most business sense. Sterling is also quite conservative in his dress, mannerisms and speech which is quite fun to hear. Sterling is at a bingo game with his co-workers and friends when he runs into Angelina (Ang) who's a close family friend. He realizes that she's pregnant and becomes very protective of her. He really likes her but she's younger than he is and he's best friends with her dad. But Ang fears for her safety and feels that her ex (the baby's daddy) is after her. Sterling agrees to protect her and she moves into his place. Sterling's social/sexual skills seem to be lacking. But Ang catches him on a dating site and she creates a profile and quickly matches with Sterling, only he doesn't know it's her. While he's become socially stunted in her presence all bets are off online.
Can he protect her from the baby daddy? Can he finally talk to her in person? Is there more to Sterling than meets the eye? Read on to find out. My favorite book in this series!
Shielding His Baby is the third installment of Taryn Quinn's Deuces Wild and readers will rejoice as they finally get the mysterious Sterling Vance's story. He's the buttoned-up, GQ-esque third "unofficial partner" in the Deuces Wild Bodyguard business. He is ultra-refined, proper and a bit stuffy but we finally get to see the other side of him and whew, is he HOT! Sterling has a hidden kinky side that nobody has seen before. Enter Angelina, his close friend's daughter who he watched grow up. There's only an 8 year difference between them but that might as well be 20 years the way Sterling rationalizes it. She's pregnant by a loser of an ex and Sterling steps in to take care of her and watch over her as she is hiding out from said ex and his shady ways. That's when things get interesting! I loved watching Angelina break down Sterling's walls. As he let his hair down, so to speak, he morphed into a completely different person. He completely melted my heart!!! We should all be so lucky to have a Sterling Vance in our life....
Quinn does a great job of adding some suspense and danger into the story just as was done in the first 2 books in the series. It's an added layer of fun that will keep readers engaged and interested. With a happily ever after for Sterling and Angelina, this is the perfect fun and sexy book to lose yourself in.
Taryn Quinn penned a delightfully enjoyable romantic suspense with Shielding His Baby. This is the third book in her Deuces Wild series. In this series, readers get to witness the romantic journey of Angelina McFee and Sterling Vance. She is nine years younger than Sterling. He is a good friend of her father’s, Marcus McFee. Destiny brings them together at a Bingo game when Sterling realizes that she is pregnant. Seeing her in that condition and knowing she is alone, Angelina or Ang, awakens his protective and possessive streak. She lives life with zest and his life is quite dull and starchy. Their romantic journey is not a smooth one. There are several bumps along the way such as Pete Lamont, the biological father and lowlife, or Marcus McFee when he realizes that his daughter and his friend are in a relationship.
I enjoyed Ms. Quinn’s writing style even though I thought the plot started off quite slowly. As I became more invested in this romantic suspense, I realized Ms. Quinn took time to provide a backstory. Her protagonists are multi-dimensional with vulnerabilities and character flaws that endears them to her readers. The dialog is rich and the descriptive passages are vivid.
Sterling and Ang are two peas in a pod because they had the same upbringing, but they are the polar opposites and that makes for the best story. Sterling finds out that Angelina’s life is about to drastically change and he wants to be a part of it, he wants to help her, take care of her and be with her. Taryn Quinn writes these male leads so deliciously that you just want to wrap one up and bring him home with you permanently! Sterling is all that and a bag of chips (he definitely wouldn’t approve of that description, lol)! The dynamic between the two is refreshing because you get to see Angelina fighting for her independence and fighting to be responsible and fighting to succeed on her own and you get to watch Sterling evolve into the man that Ang wants to be with above all else. As always the dialogue between these two is hilarious, they fight like the best of them and make-up like pros. Ang definitely impacts Sterling in the way that she able to get him to loosen up and be more open to life and its’ twists and turns. I truly enjoyed this series because the Deuces Wild Bodyguard Agency brought together a fun bunch of characters.
1,5 stars. This book was ok, an ok read for days where you do not want to read something heavy. There were a lot of issues with this book. Things seemed rushed for the beginning, how they meet again after some time and their "friendship" was hard to identify. The age gap is mentioned a lot, then it is friends with the father aspect simultaneously showing other aspects that do not matter regarding age. Much emphasis was put on the age gap while it really was not that big, sure there are years in there and they are at different places in life but too much emphasis nonetheless. Some descriptions were repeated too many times and it got annoying. The continued misunderstandings and hiding small stuff from each other were not necessary from the get-go and only to be shown in the very end. Of course, everyone has misunderstandings, but in the book, there were just too many, and sometimes unimportant ones. It did not make sense that Ang's parents had no idea about anything until the end and there was not a good explanation as to why the ex-boyfriend did not want her to have the baby hence threatening her and attempting to kill her. It had the potential to be a better book, just ok.

An unexpected pregnancy forces Angelina McFee to rethink her life choices and make some changes. Just when she needs a place to live, Fate reconnects her with family friend, Sterling Vance, who insists she stay with him at his home. Secretly, both had felt the stirrings of something deeper, but age and circumstance had been an obstacle. This time around their desires quickly dominate.
Ang and Sterling shouldn’t fit. Except for their privileged backgrounds, they are polar opposites. She’s brightly colored chalk streaked hair, fun, and uninhibited, while he’s a formal suit, analytical, restrained, and so very protective. They’re an unlikely couple, but they totally work. They’re adorable together...and hella hot, practically setting the world on fire exploring each other and their fantasies. Sterling quickly learns how to both loosen up and exert the dominating control that Angelina craves. They are explosive.
Besides all the sexy, the story is sweet and emotional with laughs and a little drama thrown in. I highly recommend it.
Shielding his Baby was the last in the wild series. You don't have to read the others to appreciate the book or characters in it although it does start where the last book ended. Sterling is a bit of a throw back from past generations. He might be characterized as a stick in the mid but he's really a true gentleman. The way he dresses, acts and speaks. He's always had a crush on Ang and now it's his time to save the day. Ang's got her self into a pickle. She's dropped out of school and now faces parenthood alone. She has had a crush on Sterling but due to the age difference has kept it on the down low.
The pair keep their feelings hidden for most of the book. I was getting a bit tired of these two constantly pushing away their feelings towards each other. He was a bit passive for my liking.
Last book in the series.....or is it? I hope not. This is the third book in a series. Each book in the series has had a different feel and vibe, but each one has been cohesive, smart, funny, and hot. You do not have to read the others to understand what is happening since each book is the love story of a different couple, but you will love each couple and not want to say goodbye. Sterling is my favorite because suits hiding muscles/ink and portfolios (made not inherited) are my weakness. (Ignore my drool). Watching Sterling’s dominant side emerge from behind the ultimate gentleman facade was.....(fanning my face)....hot....very very hot. Ang is so damn lucky. Wish there was more interaction with the rest of the gang is my only complaint, but fortunately they appear throughout the book and Chase reminds you at the end of why you love him. Made me go back and read his story and then I had to read Jax’s again....you get the idea.
I loved Sterling Vance and his love of Angelina! Sigh... 😍 Sterling is a numbers guy, someone who grew up in a family with money. He is straight up honest, conservative, speaks properly at all times, alpha and is melting with sex appeal. Sterling left the family business to branch off into a security business. Angelina is in hiding from her deadbeat ex-boyfriend and father of her unplanned pregnancy. The deadbeat wants her to end the pregnancy and is stalking her. Angelina and Sterling grew up in the same social circle. Sterling is 8+ years older than Angelina. Sterling becomes Angelina’s bodyguard. He invites her to live with him in his home and things heat up between them. It is angst lite, there is NO cliffhanger. It is part of a series but you do not need to read the other two books to enjoy. Please understand I am OCD about reading the all books in a series and in order. It’s ok to not in this case. It is my favorite book of the series.
Sterling is a man who says Poppycock and balderdash? Is there a man so proper and nice and wears nothing but proper suites? Yup! He runs into an old family friend Angela, who is working at a Bingo parlor who is also accidentally pregnant and hiding from her ex who wants this baby gone. He invites her to live with him since she needs protection and since she is living with a friend and sleeping on her couch, this is a very good invitation. Sterling works for Deuces Wild, a security firm and wants to be her body guard. And more.... Angela has been crushing on Sterling ever since she was a kid, but really wants this baby. Pete her ex will do anything he can to make this child go away. Sterling is a prim and proper man with no clue how to speak except for the dictionary. Angela is all about speaking what is on her mind and it is very blunt! Two opposite people that will have you laughing as you read. Great romance!
Sterling is learning to become a security guard while working in a PI company and also runs the electronics in the business…soon he hopes to become a partner to Jax and Chase. He runs into a lifelong friend’s daughter who happens to be pregnant with no spouse. He is immediately drawn to her, even though she is eight years his junior. Angelina went out with a no-good wealthy boy who got her pregnant and wants nothing to do with her or the baby. He wants her to terminate the pregnancy! So, she took his money, went on vacation, and came back. Now, she has run into a friend of her father’s named Sterling Vance. He is like a proper Englishman! She ends up staying with him and having a relationship of sorts with him! He wants to make it permanent, but she is undecided. Things start happening…her ex comes around, Sterling and he fights, she makes friends with Sterling’s friends, her family finds out and all heck breaks loose, and someone is trying to kill her~ What next?
Shielding His Baby was a fun read! It’s the third in the Deuces Wild series and Sterling and Angelina were great together. I loved how Sterling was a bit old fashioned in his ways and in his language. I also loved that he wasn’t a total ladies man. He struggled to understand women and relationships in some ways. Angelina, was a pure delight for him. She’s his opposite in almost every way. I loved seeing them bring out different sides to each other.
The only thing I wished there was more of was simply a bit more interaction between Sterling, Jax and Chase. Especially between Chase and Sterling. I felt like there has always been tension between them and while it was resolved, I wish there had been more interaction between them both leading up to the resolution and afterwards.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is book 3 in the Deuces Wild series, and it's my favorite of all of them. I love, love, love Sterling Vance so much. Sterling and Angelina seem so mismatched initially, but I love the way they bring out traits in the other. Sterling is a mart, proper, spreadsheet loving kind of guy with a fierce need to protect his long time friend Angelina when she gets herself into a bit of trouble! Ang is a rebel, with wild hair and a bit of a tendency to be reckless. She brings out a dominant side of Sterling that he didn't know he had and together they are hot, hot, hot! Characters from the previous books in the series are features as well, which I always enjoy. It takes them a while to quit denying the obvious 9that they belong together) but the ride is entertaining, funny, and very sexy. I've already re-read this one a 2nd time!
This 3rd book in the Duce's Wild series shows us a totally new side of Sterling Vance from the nerdy gentleman who's life is spreadsheets and rules. Angelina is a friend of Sterling's and has been since childhood, her father is one of his best friends. When Angelina needs his help with an Ex that won't leave her alone Sterling is going to do everything he can to protect her and her unborn baby. What he has trouble with is his growing attraction to her. Angelina has had a crush on Sterling for years and she has a sexy, dirty side that just might lead to some hotter than hot sex if she can get him to break a few of his rules. This story has it covered. Sex, suspense and a hunky, nerdy hero!
Part Three in a series, though helpful to read the first two, not necessary. Ang (her friends call her this) finds herself unexpectedly expecting! The dad is a jerk and is trying to cause her problems. Ang doesn't want to tell her parents about the baby. She is mostly in denial herself. The baby daddy problem needs a fix and that is where her old family friend Sterling comes in. Sterling is a partner (sort of) in a body guard business and has offered his services to Ang. Ang has had a crush on Sterling but Sterling is to proper and unwise to the ways of a woman's no d to see this. Plus there's an eight year difference in their age. Sterling is also good friends with her dad. Do they ever get together? Read this no cliffhanger HEA.
The blurb interested me and I liked the start of the book but it fell off. Sterling was a decent character he had his moments but Ang was so immature, she continued to wallow in self pity and kept talking about how she wanted to get her life back on track but you never actually see her working toward making a better life for herself and child, a lot of her decisions were questionable.
Their relationship was very physical and there wasn’t much to it outside of that, I couldn’t really see why Sterling liked Ang outside of sex. There was really no character development from both of them at the end of the story. The Pete situation made it a bit more interesting but not enough to rate the book higher.

Stirling stops at nothing to keep his woman and baby safe.
Sterling would d like anythi g fo keep Ang. AMD her baby safe. What he did n ok t mean t ok d ok is t ok fall in love with her. But when she needed protection and he needed her safe he moved her into his house to keep an eye on her. The baby daddy tried everything he could to get rid of that baby. There was just one person standing in the way. That was Stirling. I think that Stirli g was my favorite character from this series. I sk wish there was more men out there in this world lol him. This was a great read and the 3rd book in the Deuces Wild series. Great book guys.
