Call girls aren’t meant to have relationships, but my mercenaries are a little too hard to resist. Good thing I never minded breaking the rules.

The guys have another big job to do, but they need my help… again. And this time, it’s a family affair. Girls are going missing from their cousins’ clubs, and it’s our job to hunt down and kill the culprits. Whether it’s linked to their less-than-legal business dealings, MC connections, or just the shady bastards they call customers, no one knows. I have a feeling we’ll need to go all in and knives out.

Not to mention I’ve still got my own business to take care of. Having that white picket fence and a happily ever after was never in the cards for me, and now that I’ve formed attachments, the future looks just as complicated and even more fucked up. Especially since ex-lovers and new clients are waiting in line to join the shitshow that is my life.

I played a little too long in the darkness, and now there are secrets and skeletons coming into the light.

Life isn’t done testing me or my guys. In the end, I’ll find out if they are the home I was always looking for or just another place I was passing through.

3? 3.5?

I'm torn. On the one hand, I was compelled to finish this but on the other hand, there were multiple times wherein I questioned my sanity for that very feeling.

I'm going stick by my assessment of Nic from Hard Limits in that she is street smart and I'll even give her wily but she's also craycraybenaynay. And unfortunately her craycraybenaynayness got on my last good nerve in this installment. I understand it's supposed to be part of her "charm" but she's going to get her little, narrow ass shot full o'holes with her dumbassery.

I freely admit I'm new to this whole 'reverse harem' deal. To be frank, I don't really understand the need/desire for a harem, reverse or otherwise but to each their own. However, what I did not expect was for 3 new men to be added to said reverse harem. You read that right. Not a typo. Now there are 7, count 'em SEVEN dudes for Nic to bang on the regular. My ladygarden is sore by proxy.

What I find truly amusing is how all of these jokers keep talking about "love" and how much they love her and will fight for her, yada, yada, yada but none of them can say why other than (I'm paraphrasing), she's a firecracker!

Anyhoo, I should probably get to the trigger warnings; so, as you can well imagine with seven dudes now in the picture Pound Town is a regular destination so brace yourselves for MM, MMF, pegging, force play, impact play, electro-play, pseudo-voyeurism, edge play including knives and breath, some humiliation, sensory deprivation and a cock cage! There are also memories and flashbacks of rape, child trafficking and some other unpleasantness, so do heed the warnings.

In the midst of all that is an overarching storyline that will keep me pushing forward, though I'm not happy about having to read the second in the Lies and Loves series prior to reading the final book in this series as I didn't care for the first one in that series but evidently it's going to be "instrumental" to the finale so...

But, in for a penny, in for a pound. Or something. Plus, I want my $#@%^&!!! Sasha/Bodhi payoff cookie as well as restitution for the $@$&^%@!!! fade to black Alexei, Maks and Nic boom boom scene.

In a nutshell, some good, some bad, still intrigued but considerably less gung-ho, if you will. Then again, one could argue I'm picky and oftentimes hard to please so (as always) YMMV.

TW : Reverse harem, pegging, MM smut, Bdsm play, Knife play, conversations about rape, toys, dub-con, branding, non-con, blood play, rope play, torture scenes, voyeurism, electro stuff, sharing also discussion of child trafficking and parents rejecting their LGBTQ+ child.

Yes yes yes and yes for the book.
Read it ✋😌✋

This time, I was playing by my rules.
This fucker had taken everything from me, and now I was going to do the same to them.
I’d hunt them down, and then the games would truly begin.
We’d go back and forth, trading bodies and blows, until I was standing with my brother and my men, safely on the other side.
That I would be the victor was without question.
There were no safe words in war.

(Somewhere in my twisted lil heart I lowkey take pleasure in cliffhangers but damn I have NEVER felt so frustrated)

GIMME THE NEXT BOOK NOW!

Update.
The next book is here and rereading this one made my silly little heart race and I'm in love how unhinged this is

This much crazy sex in one book?! I'd love to read Suki Williams research for writing this one....🥲

Nowhere close to figuring out who the stalker is and the addition of not one, not two, but THREE MORE HEROES. I'm here like 👀. That's like 7 guys! I was totally cool with the fifth guy, but out of nowhere two more come with a shared past with the heroine🤦🏾‍♀️.

There's literally almost every single *tolerable* kink in here. Also I have a question..how much sex is too much sex? 🤔

And YOU get an org@$m, and YOU get an org@$m, and YOU get an org@$m. EVERYONE GETS AN ORG@$M!

So, basically, Safe Word has all the stuff. Butt stuff, knife stuff, pegging stuff, electro stuff, voyeurism stuff, blood stuff... This book, and Nic, are so stuffed that you can't help but be satisfied.

Safe Word is another journey into the layered world that Williams has built for Nic, a complicated web where we have plots underlying plots. The aftermath of Warren's death and the mystery of his connections continues on, along with the question of this other, undeniably more unhinged stalker with a penchant for torture and necrophilia. We also have a book 2 plot, a job that Nic and the guys get brought into by some newcomers- Alexei, Maksim, and Rhodes.

Our original men are a pleasure this second time around, and although they've got some issues of their own, like Bodhi and Sacha thinking about *that kiss*, Vas' struggle with his possessiveness, and Oli's past rearing its ugly head, Williams does a great job of keeping you invested. For someone who hates writing about feelings, she's got a lot of them packed into Safe Word.

We've got some delicious MM coming from our originals as well as the newcomers, so get your extra batteries ready! If you're not a fan of MM, honestly, I'm not really sure how you made it to book two, and I'm giving you fair warning that it's definitely not lessening as time goes on. One of the things I like about Williams' way of doing MM is that she doesn't just try to give us a good d1cking in order to make you sweat; she's giving us relationships, which I love. I like seeing the men through different lenses, and her openness to write men who love each other, loathe each other, and are afraid to confront their feelings for one another, gives us that.

Alexei, Maks, and Rhodes are interesting additions, and they're rough and tough enough to fit right in with Nic's current queue. Overall, I like them, so I am very pro adding to the harem.

Nic keeps the foundation that we got for her in book 1: she's tough, dominant when she needs to be, and submissive only when she chooses to be, which is an important distinction. Like Williams, Nic isn't a big fan of feelings, but the poor woman is being attacked with them from every angle. It's kind of funny sometimes, watching her stumble through this relationship where she has to deal with so many complicated men. There are some SHAKE MY D@MN head moments, but they're more in amusement than anything else. The road blocks that Nic and her harem go through make sense for who the characters are, and Williams does a good job of giving us drama that makes sense instead of drama for the sake of having conflict on the page.

Personally, I think that Safe Word is a great follow up to Hard Limits. If you're not into all different kinds of play, the s3x might get a bit much for you, but that's not all there is. Williams actually has a plot, which is one of the big reasons I was a fan of book 1. Safe Word has a sort of cliffhanger because of those multiple plotlines. So, while we have some resolution to the job that Nic and the guys are involved in, we have open doors that we'll need to walk through for book 3. So, yes, if you're looking for *complete* resolution, you're not going to get that, but that's par for the course when a book is part of a series. Fair warning, there's a *insert exploding head emoji* moment right at the end, but I think that will just make you all the more eager for book 3.

I want to start this by saying I absolutely LOVED the first book. I gave it five stars and read it twice, it was amazing. This book however had me wanting to throw my kindle against the wall so many times. I normally read a book a day but this book took me five days when the most it should have taken was two. I had to put the book down and walk away because my frustration levels would rise.

SPOILERS AHEAD

This book didn’t feel like it was about Nic and her harem. This felt more like it was about the guys building their relationships with each other and barely any focus on her. Don’t get me wrong, I love MM mixed in with my harem but only so long as the main focus is still on the FMC. This wasn’t the case in this book. So much of the book focused on Bodhi and his relationships with the other men. I love him with Oliver, they are great together. But now adding in sascha? Too many things were wrong with it. Nic disappears for three days and they aren’t even bothered really and bodhi and sascha are too focused on their own relationship instead of where Nic is when not even a month ago she had been kidnapped and tortured. Bodhi already doesn’t seem like he’s a part of the harem and he is mostly there for Oliver with barely any relationship with Nic, but now it’s like he’s building his own harem and we now have two main centers for it. I’m not okay with that.

Then we have when Nic showed back up at the apartments before she disappeared. Bodhi reacts and recoils from her and everyone is more concerned about his feelings then hers even though she is getting taken away by the police! Then not a single one of them checks on her at the police station or to see if she’s okay?! I mean that’s not a very caring group of men and it got me heated and I had to walk away. Then when she shows up beat to shit after being gone for so long, her main four barely seem concerned at all. They’re still more concerned about Bodhi instead of her. Not to mention we don’t even get to experience those three days with her, just her recounted version of what happened after. This again made Nic feel like a second string character in the book. I found myself so heartbroken for Nic so many times during this book because it genuinely felt like the guys didn’t really care about her. She had to bow down and apologize for Bodhi recoiling from her and then the guys being awful to her even though she is the one who turned up beat bloody? Ugh that made me want to quit the book right there.

Everything just kept adding up and sitting wrong with me and it just stopped feeling like a book about Nic and more a book about the guys. I just didn’t feel like we got much of Nic in this book even though it was a long book. I’m really bummed with how this turned out and I’m hoping it turns around. Im just more concerned now that they’re still going to be more focused on their relationships with each other in the next book instead of finding her, even with the bomb that dropped at the end that will affect all of them. I just don’t know if I have the heart to read the next book if it’s going to be more of the same of this lack of true focus on her. 😞

Absolutely loved the first book and this one was good too, but I just had a hard time with the dynamics of all the guys this time. There was a lot to unpack in this one. Nic gets asked on a job to use her expertise to help find club girls who are going missing. Unbeknownst to Nic and her guys, the people they are meeting to help are part of Sasha’s family, who Nic has had relations with in the past.

Part of what troubles me a little is that they start to have heavy feelings in this book toward each other and even say I love you, but they don’t seem to care when she is arrested. No one even bothered to check if she was still with the police 3 days later. Sasha and Bodhi all of a sudden have feelings for each-other and are busy making date nights together (which no one has ever asked Nic to do) but they are upset that Nic hasn’t come home? Bodhi is a mercenary but constantly flinches when Nic raises her voice? The guys get upset when Nic yells at her ex (who helped ruin her life by the way), but again they are more worried about Bodhi’s reaction? Personally I don’t see why Bodhi is part of Nic’s guys anyway. He clearly likes men more and has trouble even being around her. He seems more like a friend to me. I feel like Nic deserves a little bit more then what she is getting from some of them. They seem to still see her as more of a possession then someone they truly care for.

The next book should be interesting with that massive bomb we found out at the end? Not sure how that’s going to work but I can’t wait to see!

Safe Word by Suki Williams is a dark reverse harem romance. This is the second book of the Queen of Hearts Trilogy.

I absolutely love this series! Suki does an amazing job pulling me in from the first chapter. I am loving the relationship between Nicholette, Bodhi, Oliver, Vas, Sacha, Rhodes, Alexei, and Maksim. Their relationship is messy but so HOT!

I really enjoyed that we got Rhodes, Nicolette, Bodhi, Alexei, Oliver, Maksim, Vas, Sacha, and Unknown's point of view throughout the book. It really brings the story the life.

The book ends on an amazing cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book in the series Their Domme to be released on October 21, 2022 so I can get more of their story. In the meantime, I am going to have to read Beauty Of Corruption since its based in the same world so I can get more Emmerich and Blake.

I would highly recommend this book if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, or romantic suspense.

*Before reading this book, please give the Trigger Warning page before the prologue a quick look-see before beginning the book. Like Hard Limits, this book contains multiple triggers and not all are the same as the previous book.*

Safe Word was such a rollercoaster of events that Williams wove together so smoothly. Honestly, this storyline is so complicated but so well done. The past and present began to blend together and you started to see connections, and not just small ones, huge ones. Even little things that might not have seemed important before now seem like huge red flags that we should have seen in book one. Although this book is busy with both the character relationships (8 different people can be hard to follow sometimes) and with the events that are happening, it wasn't done in an overwhelming way. Sometimes information was thrown at you in massive amounts and other times it came in small trickles, but Williams gave us enough based on the situations the characters were in at the time.

I really enjoyed seeing the past meet the present for a lot of the characters in this book. Traumatic events bring back memories that were meant to stay hidden in the dark corner of the mind or ones that were being kept a secret for a reason. Sometimes this caused issues between some of the characters but I think they also provided an opportunity to come clean and break down some walls that were forever being kept up. Oliver was a big question mark in regards to his past and even though he was somewhat forced to reveal his past, pushing him past limits he didn't even want to go near, I think the entire group was better off for it, especially Oliver. The weight on his shoulders seemed to lessen after he was able to talk about his past. Even with Nic we get to see the bad memories that led up to her leaving home and beginning to work the streets at the age of seventeen. It was much more complicated and emotional than I was expecting but I loved seeing what helped make Nic into the woman she is today. The past also brings with it new characters that add a nice touch and a different dynamic to the harem. They were completely unexpected but I'm definitely not complaining since the guys are all so distinct in their likes and personalities and bring out a different side to Nic and to each other as well.

I'd like to say that this group has finally gotten to a point where they are communicating well with each other. They are getting better at it for sure, but they are just not fully there yet. The level of trust that is shown between Nic and the guys has improved tenfold, but there are still secrets that are being kept. Some of it was frustrating at times but this group has only been together for a few months, so I can't really expect drastic changes overnight. The changes I have seen so far though have been great. There are still issues, every relationship will have them, but Nic and the guys are putting forth effort at least. I think one of the major issues that you will see with this group is that a lot of the characters react first and think/question later. In the moment their own feelings take priority over the others' feelings and actions causing things to get blown out of proportion. This goes back to the communication problems that they are working on.

I think Safe Words is the book that Nic has shown the most vulnerability in so far. She has dealt with so much and it is all being brought up front and center in the book. Not only is her past coming back to haunt her in several ways, she is also acknowledging her feelings, something she refused to do before. It's a scary thing to take new steps and allow yourself to feel things you didn't believe yourself capable or deserving of in the past. It's nice to see Nic and the guys express themselves and allow themselves to be a bit more open with each other about their feelings. Some express them in a more physical and aggressive manner but it is understood all the same.

The ending cliffhanger of this book is definitely one that hits you right where it hurts. I have to admit I was getting a bit comfortable along with all of the characters. Things seemed to be going well but I knew it wasn't going to last for long. I can't imagine what Williams is going to throw at us in the next book. The suspense has been notched up even higher and I'm dying to see the conclusion to this insanity. Who could the stalker be? I keep flip flopping on who I think it is but no one is really standing out to me as "the" guy yet. I cannot wait for Williams to blow our minds with the reveal!

Lol sorry for a messy review but this is just a lot of my thoughts after i just finished this book xD

OH MY JESUS LORD, i feel like i have come down from being high!!! This is a freaking rollercoaster of everything. This is even better than the first book, god damn give me strength.

So many ups and downs, this whole book you wont know what´s gonna happen you just have to get on this crazy ride. I think the heroin Nicholette aka Nic has to be one of my favorite badass girl, i love to follow her journey how much she has been thru. How confident she is, not taking any kind of shit from anyone, she can kick ass, is straight forward and not beating around the bush. She is actually smart as fuck, knows her shit and is one step further. I love to see how big connection she has, all the persons she knows and have met. But she is sometimes ofc getting on my nerves, cuz she is a complicated fucking person.

So the guys is also very interesting, all 7 of them are so damn different even tho they all are hot heads and bloody fkn crazy, some more than others tho. First off, the four guys in the first book. Oliver, Bodhi, Sacha and Vas. They are also very complicated and not easy to deal with, Vas is being this hotheaded guy that has some dark kink but also being jealous the most i think in this book. Oliver and Bodhi was a couple before Nic so they ofc still are in a relationship but they have their ups and downs as well. Oliver is hiding a lot of stuff from everyone even Bodhi and they go way back i think they have been together 3 years or something. He is the more dominant of the two of them. Bodhi is the more softer one, but don´t underestimate him he has his dark side as well. Sacha is the leader and the oldest of the four( right?) likes control.

Then we have the other 3, Maksim, Alexei and Rhodes, very great addition i have to say. Maksim is the most crazy dark dangerous guy of all of them, but i think he is one of my fave guy. Alexei, i feel like i need to know him better tho more on a personal level. Rhodes is also one of my faves, i like that he is older and i got some tears when Nic thought back of how he was one of the very few that cared about her back in the days.

And they all have dark kinks but different from each person, yaas i am here for that.
The best moment is when they all walk in for a meeting and realize that Nic knows everyone, she does not know either which is making it even more hilarious.

So there is MM which means male on male, usually i prefer when it´s not MM but for some reason there is a couple of exceptions and it goes well with when the book/series is being dark as fuck and we have a crazy fucked up main character that is badass in her own way. I actually enjoyed with the mm we got in Safe word. I have no problem with FF either which is female on female, i just have a hard time if it´s a girl that´s gonna join the harem.
The author did a great job with juggling all the sex and also having the story going forward fast paced

BUT DAAAMN that ending, Nic is getting more and more threats and she aint telling the guys. She is pregnant??!!( i just hope it´s gonna go well with the pregnancy now with her throwing herself into danger all over again) and her brother is in the hands of the stalker or one of them. So she is ofc gonna save him, but i felt like she could have told the guys or used some help. That fucked up stalker is baaaad news, how he cut Ava( i think it was her) into pieces , shoving up knives in places you should not have any knives... I did have my suspicions about who the stalker could be, but now until the ending i aint that sure.
my poor heart, i don´t know how to survive until the third and last book!!! noo, this book leaves me with answers but the same amount of questions again.

Btw i don´t get how people even could come after the author for not putting Em in Nic´s harem, what is wrong with people.

Cliffhanger will have you all the way dead.

Holy shirts and socks.
HOOOOOLY. SHIRTS. AND. SOCKS!

Firstly, let me say, READ THE TRIGGER WARNING-don't let the Kindle app do that thing where it auto skips to the first chapter. Read them all, don't miss a word. It's better (and kinder to the author) to read the warnings than to just jump into the book and then turn around and leave trash reviews because you read content you didn't like but could've been warned against to begin with. This book will definitely not be for everyone and THAT'S OKAY.

Now, the book. Holy cheeseballs, Batman. THE. BOOK. I'm not entirely sure my brain has switched back on after Suki got in there and jumbled all my damn thoughts.

Honestly, the foreplay violence Nic craves was almost a little bit much for me but then I realized how deeply hurt and damaged because of that hurt basically Every. Single. Character is and I spent the rest of my read feeling their actions like sandpaper in my brain. In a this-is-some-deep-shhht kind of way. Maybe I've interpreted the characters incorrectly but the big, heavy moments where horrible truths unraveled and giant emotional cliffs were climbed gave me real people emotions so...🤷🏽‍♀️

If you're reading reviews before the book, this next bit is for you. If it were for me, I'd tell you all the damn things so we can freak out together but I can wait patiently (not really) for the group posts.

We meet some new additions to Nic's RH and are entertained by Vas' struggle to accept them, even though he has history with each one.

The dynamic shifts a little between some of the guys as they finally sort out some of their own feelings and start to morph into slightly sandpapered versions of themselves.

We see the original 5 opening up to each other in new, confusing to them and maybe not always healthy, ways.

Nic throws herself into danger trying to pick apart a murder mystery and eventually comes to all the right conclusions about things. Seriously, idk if she could live that life but maybe future Nic can be a PI.

Nic has been withholding a dangerous threat she received from her men (in her defense, it's been a very busy story) and in the end, it comes back with natural disaster type force and causes her to make a heartbreaking decision. This happens on top of an already exploded bomb literally one second before.

We're left on huuuuge cliffhanger with no safety lines and have been told that Blake's story needs to advance a little more before we can get more of Nic and her men.

I am not okay. Send help!

This is one very hotly anticipated release. I could not wait to devour this as soon as it hit my kindle. This book picks up on events following Nic's kidnapping in Hard Limits.

This is another thrill ride through Nic's life with her deviously dark and taboo harem of men. She starts Safe Word with Sacha, Vas, Bodhi and Oli and by the end she has added several equally untamed men to her collection. This is the most tempting and taboo reverse harem I've read and I adore every single member of the group. I love the safe exploration of their kinks and how Nic is the powerful centre to everything (I will say pay attention to the trigger warnings as this is full of boundary pushing and violent encounters). These characters read each others needs so well and the end result is super steamy and a rivetting, if unconventional, romance.

I love a strong female lead and Nic kicks ass. She is independent and fierce. But at the same time you can see her heart slowly being opened to her men, each offering her something different in the ways she needs.

This is a deliciously dark romance. The events of this book feel like they are leading to an epic conclusion and I cannot wait for it. I'll even happily endure that unresolved cliffhanger of an ending to give Nic and her guys the big ending they deserve.

Wow! What a ride this book took me on! I have been waiting anxiously for the next installment in this series as soon as I clicked over to the last page in Hard Limits. Safe Word is book 2 in Nic’s story and takes up just after the events in book 1. Nic is settling in after her ordeal and is firmly in a relationship with Vas, Sacha, Oliver and Bodhi. Now, this group has been tasked on for a new job, brought in by their cousins Alexei and Maksim. Unbeknownst to them, Nic was brought in by an old…shall we say acquaintance? Rhodes is an older man, MC president. Let’s just say everyone is actually well acquainted. So many twists and turns. The new relationships being developed. There was one that you hoped would happen after book 1. So many hot scenes. Especially Vas and Nic. Their chemistry together is absolutely palpable and so unique to them. But don’t discount the others, Nic manages to wrangle not just 4 guys but 3 more as well. Each one of them discerningly different but all with one end game, Nic. They would absolutely raze the world for her. This book was just the right amount of drama and action to keep me absolutely riveted.

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All I can say is WOW HOW MANY MEN 😳🤤
Nic is up there with one of my fave FMC, I love how badass she is, I love she takes no crap.
I loved this 2nd book, soooo much happened but left me with so many more questions 😱 that ending 😡 nothing worse than miscommunication, LIKE TALK! 😂 (makes the story though so I’ll allow it 😂)
Normally pregnancy’s really put me off it not at the end, but I didn’t hate this one, a little gutted but I love Nic and the guys that it’s got me more interested.
I was in 2 minds about how many men were now involved but for some reason I can see it working, because they’re separate from each other.
My only meh is Bodhi I have a love hate relationship with him 😂 he is the cutest but to me he seems more interested in the men than Nic with doesn’t fit my idea of a reverse harem, I’m hoping come the final book he will have changed my mind.
Definitely recommend this series! So much spice and action 🥵🌶🔥

Lord have mercy on you if you pick up this book to read. There is no safe word that you can come up with to stop this story. Trust me this book is NSFW or any where public. Also if you have triggers, please read the warning before proceeding. I read this book in one sitting and that is because it is so freaking good. Nicholette is back with her men but this time we add more to the harem. When you find out who wants to claim her as well, your mind will be blown. I was like dang it is a small world after all, even in a book. I have to say that this book gets hot on several occasions. We also have mystery, action and a moment where you are like OH NO! We also delve deeper into the characters. We learn some pretty interesting things about them all. I was shocked at moments and gasping at others. This was an intense read but I loved every word. I love Nicholette and how tough she is. So when I got to the end of the book I was so frustrated because there was nothing I could do. Check out Safe Word if you are looking for something really good to read. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

I just finished this and let me tell you I’m obsessed, I didn’t think I would into this serious as much but I’m seriously hooked.

Only because I’m personally not into all the kink shit but weirdly it didn’t bother me and I quite enjoyed it. I can’t believe this lucky bitch has seven men, my only wish was the Emerich or however you spell it became apart of it. I don’t know I loved him in the first book.

I don’t know where else this can be discussed but I only have person in mind who could be the stalker otherwise I’m truly stumped. Please comment below my review on your theories on who it might be. I need to discuss this with someone.

Don’t read comments below incase of spoilers.

I’m not even going to list the triggers and kinks in this; there’s just too many but I f****** love it! Yes, 7 guys is a lot but they are not all dependent on nic which makes it so much more realistic. Some of them form other relationships such as sascha and bohdi. I do like the addition of Rhodes because I have a huge hard on for older men lol. Alexei is a pleasure dom which is def different from the rest of them. Maxim is crazy but I actually think adding oli to his dynamic with alexei wud work. I can’t believe that I haven’t figured out who the stalker is yet. The plot is strong enough to stand on its own without all the sex and the toys and the kinks, but I sure love it all.

Dying for more!!!

The development of Nic and her relationship with her men as she recovers from being kidnapped was amazing! You get to learn more about everyone’s past. Just to mix it up - you have the addition of new & old clients/lovers 🥵🔥 Jealousy from her current men and new/old lovers that won’t let Nic go either lead to some super steamy encounters. There’s also the issue of women who are being attacked and dying that needs to be solved. Nic and all the guys need to work together to figure it out.

I could not put this book down & devoured it in one day! I was left with the biggest book cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see how this story ends. A MUST read because I know the completion will be worth it ❤️

@authorsukiwrites pulled a Miley and came in like a wrecking ball with this one. Nic and her men came in and fucked some shit up (and each other) 😂. I feel like I have a good guess on who the anonymous stalker is…

Maksim, Rhodes, and Alexei were delightful and sexy as hell. Nic exposed some secrets and laid down the law with people. That end scene ooooooo Nic your men are going to tan your ass and mark you up girl. Then we entwined Blake and Em and I was here for that whole dam show. I can’t wait to see what the hell happens next in book 3.

As always, make sure to check your Trigger Warnings as this is a very dark romance. Despite the darkness of the content, the story is still grabbing my attention so deeply. So much is happening between Nic and all her guys. She continues to be such a strong and empowering character. There is so much delicious steam and violence. After an intense cliffhanger, I can't get enough!

This was a fantastic read that had a bit of everything in perfect balance! It was great to learn more about the characters from the first book as well as get to see some new ones. Loved exploring the relationship Nic and her guys have even more. Also, it had everything from romance, if a little unconventional but perfect for the characters, to murder. And it fit the story perfectly! Can’t wait to see where the story ends in the next book!

Hardcore realistic

One problem solved and one coming to a head. The dominance is hardcore rough play. I liked period week wasn't an after thought but realistic as life goes on as usual. The dominance is a little outside my comfort zone as well as some of the play during period week. Kudos for going there though. If it's not your thing just skip that scene because the story is good. I can't wait for the next.

I liked the new additions to the harem, the stalker plot gave me the angst I wanted and I loved that, I definitely ship Bodhi and Sasha and the cliffhanger this book ends with left me flabbergasted.

With all that said, I definitely recommend and I’ll be reading Blake's duet. Toodles!
