I love dark romance and boy did this deliver!
The main character Calen’s determination for revenge takes it almost to that point of no return, that you spend the entire story in a grip of anticipation. And in a totally good way.
The victim of Calen’s revenge, Katiana, was very well written. I could feel her emotions bleed out on the page.
The whole point of this book was to set up the rest of the series & I can’t wait to dive into more!
