Best friends for years, as they each try not to pine for each other only to reveal feelings after a couple drinks, the ending of a tubulant relationship for one of them, and an awareness that they may never get this chance again.

Love is worth the wait!

Madelyn and Wyatt have know each other for years from high school to college and beyond. There has been a special connection between them from the beginning but their timing never seems to be in line. Even though they both feel a strong friendship neither will admit they feel more for each other. As the years pass life, work and relationships get in the way then his friend Trent takes his one opportunity when she isn't in a relationship and asks her out and once again he doesn't say anything.
A year has passed and they haven't seen each other much between work and her relationship with Trent then everything changes when Wyatt receives a text from her about a dinner with him. Only it not what Trent lead her to believe it's actually a business dinner with clients not a get together between friends. She slowly begins to tell him how unhappy she is with Trent. How she feels invisible. Life gets complicated as he tries to be a friend to her and to Trent all the while realizing he has feelings for her. Their story was beautiful, loving and long overdue. He was a gentleman who went way above because he was such a great guy. I absolutely loved Maddie and Wyatt. I can't wait to read the next book Something Blue I adore all these characters.
I received an ARC from the author for my honest review.

This series is like a breath of fresh air with its charming style and wonderful characters. In Something Borrowed Madelyn and Wyatt, long-time friends, find their feelings have developed into a lot more. However, Maddie has a boyfriend, Trent, who doesn’t treat her well or even acknowledge she exists at times. This becomes a bitter triangle because Trent is Wyatt’s good friend so it’s a tough situation.

I always enjoy the added splash of darkness where there is a problem and yep, Trent is right in the middle of this one. I’m not giving anything away by saying this as very quickly you learn he isn’t coping with things, it’s finding out what those things are that is the fun! Well for readers. 😆

Madelyn is a great character with her caring and giving nature and sassy comebacks. Wyatt too is a terrific character, he is an upstanding guy with great morals. I immediately liked both of them and was on #teamMadatt! 😄

I totally recommend this series and can honestly say Something Borrowed is one of my favourites.

This is the third book in the series and i had loved each and everyone and this book was exception. I read this in one sitting as i really wanted to know what was going on with Trent.

I really liked Madyson she was kind hearted and really didn’t want to hurt people and just tried her best but i think after you have read this book you will get how that got in the way of what her and Wyatt had.

Wyatt was such a gentleman and i loved his character especially in Lachlan’s book as well you just knew he was a great guy and i was not disappointed at all he was even more sweeter than i expected.

I really enjoyed the storyline for this book and loved all the characters again that had been in the previous books for this series and i am super excited to get the next book and especially who that is about

Another gratifying and addictive read by this author, who always manages to create compelling and relatable characters. These are every day people experiencing a multitude of highs and lows and making the mundane seem extraordinary.

The story is told from the perspective of both Madelyn and Wyatt; I particularly enjoyed the text convos between the characters and the thought processes underlying these exchanges. And of course, I loved catching up with the characters from the other, earlier books in the series.

This book was both captivating and uplifting, and although there were moments when I felt some frustration and anger with the characters, in the end, I was left with a smile on my face and joy in my heart….I received an advanced copy of this book from the author

This is such a fabulously sweet series and this book was no different. Wyatt & Maddie are life long friends but each have secretly been in love with each other over the years... but Maddie is in a disastrous relationship with a good friend of Wyatt's. There's never been a good time for the two of them & now is no better. But fate & good fortune step in and it looks as if they could get their happily ever after, but will Trent let go! This book has everything its a second chance love story with a twist. Can't get enough of this authors stories!

Liz Lovelock has done it again! I really enjoyed reading Something Borrowed. Book three in the Jilted series; Something Borrowed tells the story of Madelyn and Wyatt and their friends to lover’s romance. It is a fairly quick read that draws you in from the very beginning! I loved seeing some of the characters from the other books in this series intertwined into the story as well. Something Borrowed truly was a fun read!
