So far, every single one of these books has had really interesting information about the behind the scenes of characters, but this one had the best info on the technical side of how scenes were shot. I think this third episode had some of the coolest looking transitions in the season, from the switch to an animated sequence turning perfectly into a real scene of Kat sitting on the bleachers, to the split-screen shots with Jules and Nate showing them both going throughout their daily lives while messaging each other. The episode looked amazing on screen and it was cool to read about how the split-screen shots were filmed. I also really loved reading Barbie Ferreira's interview where she discusses the complexity of Kat's character; the way Kat transforms throughout the season, and the way she treats herself and others, is fascinating because it makes so much sense but is still heartbreaking to watch, and Ferreira clearly played a character that she could empathize with and enjoyed portraying.
