A Taste of Honey
Remus Lupin had never dared to hope that he would be cast on his favourite television show, The Great British Bake Off - and yet there he was, stood in the tent being stared down by national baking treasures Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall. That already would have been too much to handle; he didn't need the extra pressure of housemate drama, a long distance friendship, and a dangerous rivalry brewing between the other competitors. Not to mention the leather jacket clad baker who just wouldn't get out of his mind.

This is quite frankly the best fic I’ve read since All The Young Dudes. I loved following Remus through his journey on The Great British Bake off whilst also trying to navigate matters of the heart.

«I don't even remember my life before you.»
Creo que es mi frase favorita de toda la historia, porque no aplica únicamente para wolfstar, sino también para cada uno de los personajes viviendo esa gran experiencia en sus vidas. Vivir algo así, aunque te vayas a casa el primer día, marca un antes y un después en quien eres. Y estoy muy orgullosa de que el después de Remus haya superado incluso lo que él consideraba como "estar bien".
No lo voy a negar, habían cosas que me dejaban 🤨 pero luego me daba cuenta que simplemente eran detalles que hacían a los personajes más reales. Así es la gente en serio, esos son sus pensamientos, sus actitudes, sus temores y sus mecanismos para llevar la vida. Al final los hizo mejores.
LA TENSIÓN DE WOLFSTAR, me volvió loca, lo juro, ni siquiera intentaban disimularlo y yo sólo quería gritar. Son lo mejor que existe, se merecen tanto el uno al otro, snif snif. Los amo.
Fue un fic muy bonito, entretenido, agobiante Y UN POCO -MUCHO- TRAICIONERO... REMUS PERDIENDO??? SI FUE EL ÚNICO AL QUE VI -LEÍ- COCINAR. Pero es feliz y realmente está bien, mi niño.

I don’t always review my FanFiction reads but this one was good. I only have a few complaints (because I’m picky not because this was great!) 1. I hated who one. Fuck that guy Moony deserved it and always will. 2. Sometimes I felt like the characters didn’t allow conflict to happen/they talked out their issues a little too good for real life but whatever 3. I wish there was an epilogue of Remus and Sirius where Sirius opens his studio and they are living together and maybe something about Remus blog taking off after he stopped review books? Idk I’m just a sucker for a sweet epilogue!
Overall great book, glad there wasn’t too much jealousy and no cheating. Love Sirius so much and think this was a perfect love story with a fun background thing of the bake off!!!

I finished reading this a couple of days ago but it took me some time to review it. It was really cute, I suffered a little with their fights or actions, but it was so cool to follow them through the show and relationship. The pinning was omg they had me laughing because of how oblivious they were. As someone with anxiety, Remus gave me some anxiety as well so it was hard to read his panic attacks, but loved how relatable he was.

Oof I cried a lot, honestly I dont know I I really like the end..? I didnt like Peter that much but I think it is good, Remus learned that he doesnt need to be always the best.

AMAZING. It's a funny, cute and short wolfstar story. The writing was so good and the twists weren't as predictable tbh
