SHERIDAN
I love my mama, but she did me wrong by giving me the name of an old lady. I have enough in my life to make me feel far beyond my 24 years, like having an eight-year-old daughter, and my name isn’t helping. I’ve fought hard to be the best single mom I can be. When you move to a new city it’s hard to get into the groove of things. Denver is the biggest city I’ve lived in, but I’m motivated to take on my new job and make the school better for the teachers and the kids. Elementary school is a new one for me, but I’m up for the challenge.
Moving and not knowing anyone could make anyone lonely. That’s why I apply for some photo thing on a whim. Why not? Right?
Turning around and seeing Sheridan makes all that loneliness disappear, but she’s 18 years younger than me. I don’t think that’s a gap we can build a bridge over. Walking away is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I must push her out of my mind and move on with my life.
When we meet again through circumstance, I won’t be able to walk away again. I’m a man who is only so strong. She’s mine and this time I’ll prove it to her.

A forever night stand?
Crawford may let Sheridan slip from his grasp the first time, but he is old enough to know that when you find your 'one' you need to hold on tight and fight to prove your love....he doesn't make the same mistake again!
Sheridan is so brave opening her heart to Crawford, especially after his first mistake, but she is wise beyond her years and cannot fight the hope and love that spark between them, proving she is perfect for him.
I really hope we get Remington's book....and Tiffany's book.....or even Rem and Tiff's book, wouldn't that be awesome!

Holy shit Batman! This book (plus the bonus epilogue) was so freaking hot! And sweet. Jesus, it was so sweet! The bond between Nova and Crawford was amazing. I loved that he did a sort of double proposal.
And the chemistry and passion between Crawford and Sheridan was so hot and explosive! Wow!
Now I need to read more about Crawford's younger brother Remington. He seems sweet and hot.

I freaking loved this story. It was sweet, romantic, sweet, a bit sad, safe and really realistic yet insta goodness. Crawford was self conscious about his age and how it would affect Sheridan. You could feel how he struggled.... although I wanted to smack him upside the head as well🙈😉 Insta love with insta family... so freaking sweet 😍 😍😍

This book was fire! A hot older male and a sweet single mom meet for the first time at a stranger photo shoot. Crawford has just moved to the area for work and decides to go out on a limb and do the photo shoot. When he meets sweet and lovely Sheridan for the first time, he is awestruck. However, Crawford feels that he is too old for the lovely younger gal and refuses to acknowledge their instant connection. As fate would have it, they meet again. And this time, Crawford decides that he won’t make the mistake of losing his other half again.
I loved the connection and sense of rightness that both characters felt towards each other the moment that they met. Sheridan was all in from the beginning. And though she had her heart bruised by Crawford, she never really gave up hope. I loved that Crawford had to work to regain Sheridan’s trust and when he decided to put in the work for their relationship, he was focused on the goal.
This was a sweet and steamy story. It is part of the Stranger Shoot series, but can be read as a standalone. There are also awesome cameos from characters in other Ember Davis series.

Crawford has just moved into town and is the new Principal, leaving where her spent time with his brother. Needing to meet others, Crawford signed up for the photo shoot, but not expecting much to happen.

Sheridan's life might have taken a detour in high school but she wouldn't change a thing. Her daughter is the best thing to happen to her regardless of the circumstances. As a single mom, time for herself isn't a priority or even in the top ten. Along with running her own bakery, time is at a premium. But she takes a chance on the stranger shoots and gets picked. Will she meet her one? Crawford has given up on finding love, having a family. It just wasn't in the cards for him so he focused on his career as a principal. But moving to a new town, alone drives him to sign up for the stranger shoot. There is no way he would find the woman meant to be his, right? Don't let these novella sized stories fool you, Ms Davis effortlessly packs an emotional punch into her stories. This one, especially brought tears to my eyes. This story sealed the deal, Ms Davis is on my autobuy list. Such a lovely, romantic read!

She takes a chance with the Stranger Shoot and meets Crawford. He is a school principal and new to Denver. They have an instant attraction that he runs from because of their ages. He gets another chance but he has to repair what he damaged. Once he gets on the right path, they have a chance for a happy family together. I enjoyed their story and the characters. It had just enough drama, sweetness and chemistry. I have enjoyed the books in this series

Smoldering, steamy, electrifying heat and love course through this wonderful age gap, second chance instalove story!! Crawford, the new sexy, older school principal, is hung up on the age gap between himself and Sheridan, a younger single mom and baker, when they first meet at the stranger photo shoot, despite the instant connection he feels for her. Sheridan and Crawford's story was sweet, heart breaking yet warming at the same time. I thought Sheridan was an awesome mom; she did everything that she could for her daughter and she didn't have any regrets. It took me a bit to like Crawford since he ran scared instead of talking but he did redeem himself and was really sweet. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what is in store for us next. I would recommend this book and Ms. Ember as a great author.

This is such a beautiful, fun series about strangers who are picked to participate in a stranger photo shot and ultimately they all find love and happiness. Crawford and Sheridan are drawn to each other but they do have tiny hurdles in their path to their HEA. Although Crawford is a few years older than Sheridan they have an instant attraction and connection. This is another great book in a quirky series. I have enjoyed reading them all so far and I cannot wait for the next book.

This was another very enjoyable entry in this super fun series. Age gap is my most favorite trope so this book held a bit of extra appeal for me. As a couple, I really liked Crawford and Sheridan. Crawford I thought was pretty swoon worthy and I liked Sheridan but I didn't love her. Still, I thought this was a very good read that delivers some solid feels, swoon and cuteness to the reader. I am posting an unbiased, unsolicited review.

I really like how strong and independent and hardworking Sheridan is. I love her parents and her best friend. Little Nova is a doll. When she meets Crawford in such a cute and sweet way, I really fall hard for them as a couple. They have to work through his stubbornness and his failure to pick up on all that Sheridan feels. This is really a good story and I'm looking forward to a story for Remington.

Ember has given us such incredible characters, Sheridan and Crawford have the best shoot and I just adore Ellie and her matchmaking. I love how Craw gives his girls a home and how they have the perfect ending.
