Jill's latest case is to find a missing case for a Mr Case. And if that's not weird enough, things quickly take a dramatic and deadly turn. And there's something very mysterious going on at the new village post office.
Additional comment. Into next book and am finding this child even worse. I hope no one finds the last stone and Braxwhoever takes the kid out. Maybe the author has never been around real kids. No kid at her supposed level of intelligence behaves like a three year old. I guess I'm done. The kid has spoiled a very charming series that has remained fresh and creative for over 40 episodes
The plot thickens... Jill keeps busy with various cases in Washbridge and Candlefield. Meanwhile Florence has an imaginary friend, or does she? The life of Jill is as complicated, hilarious and confusing as always. But I've got a feeling we're nearing the end... Entertaining read as always.
This episode in Jill's life is better defined and descriptive than in previous books. I've read all of them. The only thing I would do differently is stop Jill's smarty-like comments or thoughts she makes about someone in the story then addresses with the reader. They just show that Jill is petty and I don't think pettiness is funny or enjoyable. But I really liked the very positive change for Buddy! He deserves it!
So far this series has stayed interesting. How she does it has me confused. I would have figured at 43 books it would have gotten repetitive and boring. But I have enjoyed the series. And I guess that is the best thing I can say. The series has stayed enjoyable and interesting.
Really like the stories this author tell. They are always interesting, funny, and different. The characters are very believable, I can hardly wait to read the next book. Ms. Abbott please keep writing these fun stories. How about adding some African Americans in some of the stories?
This writer never disappoints . The interweaving plots effectively disguise the culprits so one is left guessing right until the case (or in this one, case squared) is solved.
This installment went by way to quickly! I have loved every book even though they seem so short. It was very interestingly loaded with characters and adventures large and small. But I can't wait till the next book to find out who knows where the last stone is located.
This is such a good book! I absolutely love this line of stories. They are really funny and so entertaining. Ms. Abbott is a wonderful author. You won't be sorry if you buy this book.
This book takes Jill to the Fairies, solving the mystery of the new Postmaster and dea!ing with her cat Winky who is always trying to make money. It's loads of fun and a joy to read.
This was a fun read. I love the dogs good news! Seems the little witch is going to fly far past her Mother! Winky you little wheeler dealer, you really are full of surprises and mayhem!
These are great short stories that combine fun and mayhem. They are cute investigations in the human world and "SUP" world. I enjoy these books inbetween my heavy reads as a palate cleanser and when looking for a happy fun easy read.
Continuing on with the magical, mystical series - such a fun read. I don't know how Adele keeps coming up such silly but brilliant scenarios. Loved it!
