Pattukkottai Prabakar is a prolific writer of Tamil crime and detective fiction. At the same time he has penned lot of novels in all other genres like love, social, comedy. He has also worked as screenplay and dialogue writer for more than 25 tamil movies. He has also worked as a screenwriter in the Tamil film industry, and also for Paramapadham, the first Tamil-language "mega-serial" shown on Doordarshan. First published in the 1977 in Anandha Vikatan. He has written more than three hundreds novels, more than two hundred short stories. Lots of his novels are translated in Telugu and Kannada. He has also worked as a Dialogue writer in more than ten movies in Tamil. Prabakar's novels most commonly feature the adventures of the detective couple Bharat and Susheela, of Moonlight Agencies, and their employees Marikkozhunthu (a.k.a. Madhavi) and Ravi. There is a running gag in the books about the slogans on Susheela's T-shirts.

Pattukkottai Prabakar (Tamil: பட்டுக்கோட்டை பிரபாகர்) is an Indian Tamil writer and screenwriter for movies as well as TV. Pattukkottai Prabakar was born to V. Radhakrishnan and R.Chandra on 30 July 1958. He completed his master's in economics in St.Joseph's college, Trichy. He pursued his career as a writer.

His debut as an author was in 1977, when his work was published in Ananda Vikatan. He has penned 250+ short stories, 300+ novels, 85+ serial stories. More than 200 works has been published by several publishers as special edition books. A monthly magazine named A novel time was publishing only his novels. His famous works are Bharath Susila Detective series. His versatility has taken his works to other languages too. He ran Ungal junior and Ullasa Oonjal monthly magazines for ten years.

கிங் இண்டியா என்ற கம்பெனி நஷ்டத்திலிருந்து மீள ஜப்பானிய இஞ்சினியர் ஒருவரின் ஐடியாவை வைத்து புதுரக air conditioner ஒன்றை மார்க்கெட்டில் அறிமுகப்படுத்த முயற்சிக்கிறது. அதன் competitor கம்பெனியான நிக்கி பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் தன்னுடைய உளவாளியை கிங் இண்டியாவில் plant செய்ய, இரகசியங்கள் கசிகின்றன. இரு கம்பெனிகளுக்கு இடையேயான rivalry, ego clashes, reciprocation என ஒரு cat-and-mouse game ஆக நீள்கிறது இந்நாவல்.
