I had a brilliant life, living in England where everyone knew me as just Ben, the massage therapist. Then my mother summoned me home, determined to marry me off. You see, I'm not just Ben. I'm Bennett Worthington Montague, crown prince of Mithoria, and my mother has arranged for every eligible aristocratic girl to compete to become my princess.
Does anyone care what I want?
But I'm planning my escape. When a mate offers to let me stay at his house in New Hampshire for Christmas, while he's on holiday in Switzerland, I jump at the chance. But on my way there, I get lost. During a blizzard. Then a sexy girl rescues me.
A snowstorm, a hot tub, and a beautiful woman. Need I say more? We've only just met, but we can't keep our hands off each other. This might just be the best Christmas ever.
Unless someone tells my mother where I've gone.
One Hot Christmas is the sixth book in the bestselling Hot Brits series of romantic comedies.
Anna Durand is a bestselling, multi-award-winning author of contemporary and paranormal romance. Her books have earned bestseller status on every major retailer and wonderful reviews from readers around the world. But that’s the boring spiel. Here are some really cool things you want to know about Anna!
Born on Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, Anna grew up moving here, there, and everywhere thanks to her dad’s job as an instructor pilot. She’s lived in Texas (twice), Mississippi, California (twice), Michigan (twice), and Alaska—and now Ohio.
As for her writing, Anna has always invented stories in her head, but she didn’t write them down until her teen years. Those first awful books went into the trash can a few years later, though she learned a lot from those stories. Eventually, she would pen her first romance novel, the paranormal romance Willpower, and she’s never looked back since.

(audiobook) I knew what to expect, and I wasn’t disappointed. The author didn’t lie when she named the series Hot brits. That was one hot Christmas for sure.
Okay, I’m getting real tired of instaloves that go from strangers to married in fifteen seconds top, and that was one. I love seeing feelings developing and characters learning about each other, and there’s no time for that when they declare their love after three days. I can get over it, but ultimately that means that what could have been real chemistry between the protagonists is little more than lust and desire, physical attraction, and for me it isn’t a solid foundation for a forever relationship.
I have to admit, though, that the physical attraction here was eye melting–or ear melting in my case. There’s unexpected nudity in chapter two, and they even have public intercourse soon after. The author throws some tidbits about who they are, but it really doesn’t matter, they have other priorities.
Until their families become involved. That’s when the mood changes a bit. Since they didn’t actually have to seduce each other–see instalove–they switch to seducing each other’s family. There’s not much to say about Sam’s. The drama comes from Ben’s family, and his position: he’s a crown prince!
Yep, this book is also a royal romance. That may have been the most endearing element of the story, for me at least. Ben’s struggles, his tensed relationship with his mother, his aspirations, all of that finally made him more than just a dick on legs, and an interesting character.
The narrators have been doing the series since the beginning, but they’re both extremely talented and have the perfect voices for the English guy and the American girl, bringing just enough nuance that the characters are different from book to book. A very entertaining audio.
Quickie
- Series: Hot brits #6 (can be read as a standalone) - Hashtags: #holiday romance #royal romance #instalove #stranded in the snow - Triggers: N/A - Main couple: Samantha Lockhart & Bennett Worthington Montague - Hotness: 5/5 - Romance: 4/5 - + damn that was hot! Sam and Ben are fire, public sex and awkwardness for the win - – lightning fast instalove still bothers me
One Hot Christmas by Anna Durand was quite the steamy royal audio treat! I have loved every book in this series, and was super excited to finally get Ben's story. Ben and Sam have this instant hot chemistry that will consume you to very the last minute of the book!
Shane East and Vanessa Edwin narrate this audio, and once again these two are simply perfection at bringing Anna Durand's characters to life. Shane East does a fantastic job at portraying all of Ben's royal, charming, and swoon-worthy personality. Vanessa Edwin conveys all of Sam's hesitance, passions, and desires brilliantly. Both narrators helped me envision and get completely sucked into this snowy holiday world.
Overall I loved this book! If you are love a Hot Brits story with a royal in disguise, a bold passionate woman, meddling parents, holiday traditions, restaurant steamy times, snowmobiles, holy hot tub, and HEA perfection, then you will adore Ben and Sam's story! If you are a fan of Anna's Hot Brit Series, then you will absolutely love this book!
T´is the season and Anna Durand treats us to this fun, sweet, steamilcious insta-love holiday romance to leave us feeling happy with all the warm fuzzies.
I really enjoyed ONE HOT CHRISTMAS, a meet-cute in a snowstorm that leads to finding love when you least expect it. Ben and Sam both have their own reasons for being put off by love. One does not believe in it and the other being forced into it by duty but one look at each other and they have fallen in lust at first sight. Expect sexy cosy times in the hot tub and well, other places…., a bit of royal drama, plus fun interruptions by loved ones who show up unexpectedly to celebrate Christmas, all being in forced proximity. There is also the little fact that Ben is a Crown Prince and has duties which he is currently hiding from. Will Sam become Princess of Mithoria or will they live happily ever after elsewhere?
Shanessa perfection strikes again! Vanessa Edwin and Shane East bring us the festive joys of listening to their talented voices in this hot little holiday number. I have a lot of love for them as an audio pairing and believe me when I say Vanessa´s male voice will give you the goosebumps with her delicious sexy whispers. Shane, well he is perfect as always giving us the Hot Brit charm of a crown prince turned massage therapist.
Another amazing installment in the “Hot Brits” series and a fun and sizzling Christmas book.
Ben is on the way to a friend’s house for vacation when a snowstorm and a dead cell phone have other ideas. Lucky for Ben, he meets Sam, a fun and vibrant woman with a snowmobile. The two have a connection that is electric. Christmas magic is definitely in the air even when both families and a secret show up to their party of 2.
The chemistry between Ben and Sam is so hot, it could melt the snow in New Hampshire. I loved their instant connection. Ben is a British dream who has a bit of a family secret, nothing that’s too scandalous but a great plot twist. I loved how fun and sweet Sam was. She was an instant like for me. When both families showed up in their Christmas bubble, it made things even funnier and so relatable. The setup for the next book is great and I can’t wait to read that next.
Book six in the Hot Brits series brings Ben and Sam's story. The author does a great job building the story and pulled me in right from the start. It's a steamy holiday romance with the two getting together during a blizzard. They have a strong chemistry and growing love. It's an entertaining story and I enjoyed reading. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This would have benefited from 1-a lack of instalove and 2-less of a focus on sex that's presumed to be love. It was ok; the writing was good but the story was kind of weak.
The narration by Vanessa Edwin and Shane East was terrific, though.
Ben’s car breaks down in a snowstorm in NH a couple of weeks before Christmas. Sam finds him and takes him back to her house. (They never explained why she was out in the storm to begin with.) They are immediately attracted to each other and have sex. Then the story really begins.
Ben was a likable guy and Sam seemed nice but I never felt we got to know much about her. I don’t know how old they are supposed to be but based on several comments he made I think late twenties. They both acted nineteen years old, max. Ben seemed to have multiple personalities because he kept changing the way he acted. He never acted like a man with a law degree who was also a crown prince. Even his mother, who was supposed to be stern and formal, seemed to suffer from split personality. (Maybe it is genetic.)
The plot was superficial, silly and completely predictable. I knew how it was going to end by the second chapter. It reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas movie with several hot, explicate sex scenes and adult language. (Don’t get me wrong. I’m very fond of steamy sex and real talking. That part was not a problem for me.)
There were quiet a few funny scenes and I laughed more than once. (The condom in the hot tub was very amusing.) It’s like a bag of potato chips. Quickly consumed and then forgotten.

One Hot Christmas Hot Brits, Book 6 By: Anna Durand Narrated by: Shane East, Vanessa Edwin
Anna Durand pens another steamy and wonderfully delightful romance novel set in her “Hot Brits” series. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end, it is the perfect book to enjoy during the holidays or anytime of the year. Bennett Worthington Montague aka Ben, is the crown prince of Mithoria, a small country outside of England. He has been spending most of his time in England but his mother has plans for him, one being to marry an aristocratic girl to become his princess, the second being to fulfill his duties as the prince, the next in line for the crown. Except he does not want any of that, so he dodges his mother by hiding out in a small town in New Hampshire for the Christmas holiday, staying at a friend’s house who is vacationing in Switzerland. Except he never makes it to his friend’s house, driving in a major snowstorm, his rental car gets stuck and he is stranded somewhere in New Hampshire. But a beauty in pink comes to the rescue on her snowmobile and takes him to her cabin in the woods to warm him up. Samantha, who is staying in the cottage she inherited braved out to rescue the stranded motorist. It does get lonely out there but she is surprised by the instant attraction and how she hit it off with the stranger, the chemistry between them is sizzling and it just feels right, so before you know it, they are enjoying each other in hot steamy ways. The more they get to know each other, the more they like. But their alone time is interrupted when her family shows up and, to top that his mother, the Queen, tracked him down, comes there to take him back home. I loved how everything played out in this fast-paced, beautifully plotted story, there is a perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. It is an enjoyable story, one that puts a smile on your face and warms your heart. Anna Durand thank you for another fabulously entertaining story.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Anna Durand cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the character to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor flawlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
'Perhaps one of the most hottest introductions in a novel that I've read this year! Anna really upped the heat and with a breathtaking Brit at the helm!'
Thank you to Anna Durand and her team for sending me an ebook Advanced Readers Copy for me to read and review. This review is spoiler-free but contains references to the blurb.
Anna wastes no time in delivering us the goods right off the bat. Normally we'd have to go through the traditional wait until halfway through (or just after) the book to get anywhere near clothes-off level, but not this time. My jaw hit the floor within the opening pages and wow, what a way to kick start of a novel that would prove equally as impressive as the opening did!
I can see why now why this series is called Hot Brits, because boy are our bookish British Boys bringing the heat! --This is my first introduction into the Hot Brits series, as I haven't read any of the previous five but I must say that right off the cuff this far down into the series, I'm incredibly impressed!
Moving onto the storyline, I've not read one from the male perspective like this in a while. Usually stories revolve around the females main character and her issue/problem/scenario/secret/a past etc, but this time the centre of attention and main focus lies with Ben. Will the reason he has run away from both his royal title and therefore his family, stay hidden or will he reveal it to the very woman who rescues him from the snow? There's only one way to find out. Props to Anna for keeping me guessing as to when or rather, if, this moment would happen. Talk about holding my breath!
This is a novel with a very modern take on royalty, yet it was teamed with the familiar traditions and expectations that we all know are associated with royals both past and present. Anna explores this area through the eyes of a set of royals from an imaginary principality--allowing for creative freedom to give us the Worthington family--, giving us an insight into royalty from the outside perspective as a writer. The family itself, when we are slowly introduced to them one by one, were a complete contrast to Sam (the female main character) and her family. They represent the parallel opposite and it was interesting to see how the two families would get on when placed in a forced proximity situation, or on the first time meeting one another. There were many echos of times and people we often see in our own families both near and distant, which made for many a smirk, grimace and eye-roll.
Families aside, One Hot Christmas proved to be equally as funny as it was steamy and festive. I always like to see added dashes of humour woven into romance novels or novels with a serious, dramatically dark tone, and there were several comedic moments included in this novel. Usually at the expense of Ben and Sam, which only made things ten times as funny.
Many lessons and messages were taken away with me as I turned--or rather swiped--the very last page closed. You'll soon discover what those are for yourself but I applaud Anna for including so much in this novel, lessons and messages included, giving us a read that I can honestly stand up and say that everyone should take a chance on and read this upcoming holiday season.
Treat yourself to a Hot Brit, and sit down with One Hot Christmas!
One Hot Christmas Series: Hot Brits 6 by Anna Durand Narrated by Shane East, Vanessa Edwin
Perfect to start out the holiday season! Anna Durand's audio release of One Hot Christmas is sure to get the festive feeling going. Ben is a massage therapist in England. Given the chance to spend some time in New Hampshire for the holidays may be the break he needs. Until he needs some rescuing. Lost on his way to the cabin, in the middle of a blizzard, he is luck to have Sam find him and take him in. She is not looking for anything, but this good looking man may just be the perfect present. “One Hot Christmas” the 6th story in the ‘Hot Brits’ series by Anna Durand, is royally entertaining. Although the book is part of a series, it could definitely be enjoyed as a standalone. It’s a story told from the leading man’s perspective, something this author has effectively done before in other books.
Instead of the hero rescuing a damsel in distress, this story opens with the hero trapped in his car that’s trapped in the ice, then being rescued by a beautiful woman on a snowmobile with pink detailing. She whisks him off to her home after saving him from the clutches of the snowstorm. As you know from the book blurb, Ben is a Crown Prince whose mother is aggressively demanding he get married to fulfill his responsibility to his family and his status in their country. Although Ben loves his family and his country, he has no desire to be a royal. He’s been perfectly happy hiding out in England and working as a massage therapist. on a vacation in America, when he meets Samantha (Sam), and she rocks his world. Instalust morphs into instalove. As if the situation wasn’t complicated enough, her family members start showing up, and then so do his!
This entertaining book manages to combine sweet and steamy stuff with snow and some Christmas magic. The main and the secondary characters are all likable. I enjoyed the ending, although it wrapped up almost too quickly because the book was so enjoyable.

What a hot feel good romance story for the holidays! This was so much fun to read. It's a runaway prince who's had enough of his mother trying to marry him off to an appropriate socially acceptable to her woman, and an ordinary American woman. It was just plain fun.
Bennett Montague Worthington is the crown prince of a small island that has British ties. Bennett has gone to school in England and talked his Mother into giving him a few years to live a normal life with his mates in a small town in England as a massage therapist. His time is up and his Mother hauled him home. After a week of a parade of women all wanting his title and riches but not him, he's had enough. He leaves his family a note, sneaks out his bedroom window and flees to the US to housesit for a friend. When he gets stuck in a blizzard, he's rescued by Samantha Lockhart.
Sam is a virtual assistant working from the isolated cabin her grandfather left her. She's had a string of bad relationships and she's off men and people for a while. She finds Ben stuck in a snow drift and brings him home. He finds himself fascinated and incredibly drawn to Sam. While waiting for the roads to clear they get to know each other. They learn a lot about each other when her family arrives unannounced on her doorstep for Christmas.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
What a delightful Christmas gift from Anna Durand! One Hot Christmas is not only passionate, witty, fun, endearing and adorable, but it also has so much depth and heart that it's the perfect romcom for the holiday season.
Ben is trying to escape the royal family obligations that just don't appeal to his heart and soul. But when a road trip on the run goes awry, he gets rescued by Sam. Little does he know that she didn't just rescue him from a snow storm. Oh, no, she's going to rescue him from the life that he doesn't want to lead.
I love Sam and Ben's instant spark, their palpable connection, with chemistry that just leaped off the page. But there is so much more than the physical between the two of them. Their souls really seem to speak to each other, to search each other out. That recognition and connection makes them so close so quickly. I also loved how Sam's family provided such a strong counterpoint to Ben's family. Where Ben's family was about obligations and appearances, Sam's is about joy, fun and love.
The narration by Shane East and Vanessa Edwin is fantastic. They are both brilliantly cast. I'm a fan of both of them and have listened to many of their works. I think funny pondering Shane East just may be my favorite. Strong, supportive, determined Vanessa is definitely at the top of my list, too.
Steamy and dreamy, sigh-worthy holiday romance One Hot Christmas (Hot Brits Book 6) by Anna Durand is a perfect Christmas romance with a dose of humor as well. These characters are so personable, I just adore them both! Ben is super sweet and so humble he is a sexy book boyfriend dream come true. Sam is one lucky lady who matches Ben superbly. She’s also a real sweetheart with a lot of confidence and strength. These two shore each other up as they navigate the uncertainty of the future beyond the holidays. Their meet-cute begins this near insta-love romance with their inexplicable draw to one another in all ways. There’s fun, frivolity, and family on top of all things new in developing relationships. I love the bravery of this couple, and the Christmas season is the perfect setting for it. Family dynamics add to the mild antagonism and especially the humor as more and more family members invade their ‘quiet’ holiday vacation. Overall, this holiday romance is a dream come true for Ben and Sam and for holiday romance readers. This book couple and their holiday love is going to stay with me for quite some time. Their unexpected meeting, designed by fate, makes their Christmas meaningful and magical, adding sweet romantic elements to their guaranteed HEA. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Bennett/Ben is a massage therapist living in England that is heading to a friend’s home in New Hampshire for the holidays when he becomes lost and stuck during a blizzard. Samantha/Sam rescues him on her snowmobile and she brings him back to her house. Sam finds him cute, sexy, and she loves his accent while he is also attracted to her and they flirt and become intimate while snowed in. He hasn’t told her that he is really the crown prince of Mithoria, a small country, and his mother wants him to marry an aristocratic woman from their country and leave England and return to Mithoria. Will they be able to find happiness together or will he be forced by his mother to return to Mithoria and accept his duties as the crown prince?
I give this book 4.5 stars. I enjoyed this story where Sam rescues Ben in the snowstorm, takes him home, and they become intimate. He hasn’t told her who he really is and he knows that they can’t have a future, but he stays with her. They have to deal with his family issues and decide how they really feel about each other. The epilogue was a great ending for their story.

One Hot Christmas is a charming & hysterical One Hot Christmas is a fun, hysterical fairytale romance. A holiday romance worthy of an annual re-read (or listen).
One Hot Christmas is the 6th book in Anna Durand's Hot Brits series, and it is without a doubt my new favorite! With a hilarious beginning in which the heroine rescues the dude in distress, I was hooked in the first few minutes!
Anna Durand's style, lovable characters, and steamy storytelling make One Hot Christmas a holiday must-read! I love Anna's writing and this lighthearted, low-angst, high-steam Christmas romance is absolutely delightful.
Ben is in need of a respite from family drama, so he escapes to New Hampshire for the holidays. But after a road map mix-up, our hero finds himself stranded and in need of rescuing. Sam is tired of the dating game and living a somewhat isolated life making a sweet inherited cabin her own and working remotely. Out for a ride on her trusty steed(er, snowmobile), she encounters a stranded stranger. Sam is the quirky, adorable, funny, gorgeous badass heroine Ben never knew he's always needed. Ben and Sam soon realize that a chance encounter could change everything. The chemistry sizzles in your ears between the intrepid MCs in this whirlwind escapade.
Chock-full of holiday fun, goofball relatives, witty banter, signature steam, and a whole lotta cheer, this audiobook should be at the top of everyone's Christmas list! A steamy twist on a chance encounter, forced proximity, love at first fireside glance romance. IYKYK. This is the heartwarming, adventurous holiday romp we all need. I was snort-laughing from the very start.
Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are perfect in this audiobook. They bring One Hot Christmas to life with their marvelous performances. Shane is hilariously charming in his narration of Ben. Romcom Shane embodies the stranded, mysterious, deliciously endearing stranger perfectly. Vanessa Edwin is witty, alluring, and utterly beguiling as Sam. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are always a one-click narrator pair for me. They bring Anna Durand's words to life with lovely charm & smokin' hot style.
Prince Ben needs some alone time instead of his mothers plotting to marry him off. He takes off for a cabin of a friend, located in New Hampshire, but does not know how much snow comes to that area of the country and gets stuck. Samantha is at the cabin also for some alone time and ends up rescuing Ben via her snowmobile. As they warm up, other things heat up and the fireworks fly high. Just when things are getting stronger, her family descends on them, trying to cheer Sam up. Then the worst case senario.... the Queen finds out where he is and also comes to call. The characters and terrific and heartwarming in their relationship. The families cause a lot of situations they did not expect, especially his mom. The storyline has drama, tension, surprises, secrets revealed and steam. Love the chemistry and trust they feel for each other. Great way to end the story and I still want to read more.

Bennett Montague, Crown Prince of Mithoria escaped across the pond to the United States just before Christmas in near blizzard conditions outside a little town called North Slipperton when he went off in the ditch and he was rescued by Samantha Lockhart. As far as she was concerned, he was some good looking dude with a British accent that she was extremely attracted too that did not know how to dress for the weather. Bennett thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. All they wanted was spend time together, but time was the last thing they had. As always this author produces fun, corky, and somewhat off the wall stories. This was no different they will face many obstacles besides the snow for them to be together. Gab on tight for the ever changing list of characters in this story as you wait to discover what's going to happen.

Super cute holiday story that is a shorter audio. It hits a whole bunch of buttons that make it a wonderful holiday snack. It’s part of a series, but it completely stands alone with just a few name drops that make you want to explore the rest of the series.
Stranded in the snow and rescued by a stranger? What a way to start a vacation. Only it’s a little more than just that! American Samantha rescues lost crown prince Ben with the aid of her trusty pink snowmobile when he veers way off course for his Christmas holiday getaway to New Hampshire.
The two fall fast an hard for each other but Ben still needs to share the Royal part of his reason for running away for the holidays.
The Audio for this was performed by Shane East and Vanessa Edwin. The pair were adorably well matched for this one and they seemed to have a ton of fun with it.
This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. One Hot Christmas is the sixth book in the Hot Brits series. Its a different couples story so it can be read as a standalone like I did, I wasn't lost at all but I do plan on reading the first five books.
Ben is on the way to a friend’s house for vacation when a snowstorm and a dead cell phone have other ideas. Lucky for Ben, he meets Sam, a fun and vibrant woman with a snowmobile. Ben and Sam both have their own reasons for being put off by love. One does not believe in it and the other being forced into it by duty but one look at each other and they have fallen in lust at first sight.
I can't wait to read the first five books I missed as well as read any future books in this series.

After spending a month at home having a slew of wannabe girlfriends paraded by him, he escaped to the wilds of New Hampshire to hide. Ben loves experiencing his first normal Christmas with her family. His mother shows up demanding he return but he refuses. Ben's parents give him the option to not be crown Prince and live his life in England. He agrees and marries Sam for their HEA.

I really enjoyed this book. It told the story of Ben and Sam. Ben got into a wreak and Sam, who lived near the area he had car problems, came to rescue him. The pair had an immediate attraction to each other and got to know each other better over the next couple of days. Things get really steamy between them but things almost come to a halt when both of their parents show up out of the blue and through a wrench in their plans. What Sam doesn't know is that Ben is a prince. Will the back woods girl be able to handle his busy world that holds him under extreme responsibility? This was a great sweet but steamy book. I really liked both characters and love the fact that the author always uses British or Scottish men in her stories. Makes me really wish I could be one of her female characters.

One Hot Christmas (series: Hot Brits 6 ) by Anna Durand Narrated by Shane East, Vanessa Edwin
It was a fun, adorable, and steamy kind of holiday romance. We have Ben, a Crown Prince, running away from his problems as we have, Samantha, a beautiful lady, who was going to spend days in her family cabin by herself during the holidays. Ben drove through a blizzard but his car broke down and a lady came out to rescue. Overall, they meet under these circumstances and they had a strong chemistry with each other. Yes, Many delicious and steamy moments!!! The story is predictable, does have little funny bits, and narration is perfection. The plot and writing is great. For me, I am not into love at first sight/insta-love but doesn’t mean, I didn’t enjoy this holiday romance. If you love Insta-love, this is for you!
Wow. I have been reading a bunch of Hallmark channel worthy books lately for Xmas and this one popped up. After 3 weeks of fade to black, this one made me laugh out loud. Chapter 3 is one long sex scene. I cracked up. In 3 weeks I forgot all about my usual fare.
This book is fine. Like always, Anna Durand brings the sex. If you want to enjoy the story itself, you need to totally suspend your disbelief. Don’t ask questions like, why would a woman who lives alone be out on a snowmobile at night. Why would she then take the man she found home & screw him within minutes of knowing him? How could she take learning he is a prince of a country she admits never having heard of so calmly & believe him without question? So yeah, disbelief suspension thing.
Not to mention the stuffy queen learning how to have fun again. It’s like a Disney movie with sex.
This is a great addition to the Hot Scots series. Ben is a royal in hiding, he has escaped to America to get away from the intentions of his mother. But the New England winter may be more than he can handle and soon finds himself in need of rescue. Sam is taking a break, after being burned many times over her remote cabin ifrom her grandfather seems the perfect place to spend Christmas and what a gift Santa left her. With a house full of family, Ben realizes what he really wants in life but can he give up his title to get it. Great story with Characters from past and I hope future stories, with scenery that just might give you goosebumps.

Samantha and Ben are amazing. Ben, who had been happy as a massage therapist, suddenly has the need to hide out from his mother, the matchmaker. Ben is really “Bennett Worthington Montague, crown prince of Mithoria”, and his mother thinks it is now time for him to marry. He is not so keen on that.
A friend offers his home in New Hampshire while he is off to Switzerland, and Ben thinks that is the perfect hideout. However, he gets lost in a blizzard on the way and is rescued by Samantha. The two of them have wonderful personalities and a delightful sizzling chemistry. With the mingling of family, tradition, and fun, this book is one you will want to read! Is their relationship something they want to last? Or will learning the truth scare Sam off?
Ben and Sam meet when Ben goes off the road in a snowstorm on his way to his friend's house. Sam saves him and takes him to her place until the roads are clear for him to get his car. Instant chemistry ensues, and Ben and Sam take advantage of the time they have together.
Ben has a secret only a few people know about. As he gets closer to Sam, he wonders if he should reveal it to her, or just leave with the memories of their time together. Fate has other plans, and Ben and Sam both have to face their feelings for each other. I loved this beautiful Christmas love story. I don't want to give anything away, but it was just the perfect holiday treat.
Shane East and Vanessa Edwin (Shanessa) did a great job narrating this beautiful holiday tale.
*** AUDIOBOOK ALC REVIEW *** This was such a delightful holiday treat! It definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. Ben and Sam were the best and their chemistry was spicy! This forced proximity, instant attraction, holiday royal romance will make you swoon, laugh and feel warm inside. Narrated by Shane East and Vanessa Edwin, this wonderful Hot Brits story comes to life. They were the perfect cast for the swoony crown prince, Ben and fun, lively ,Sam. Shane and Vanessa so talented and a joy to listen to. They are two of my favorite narrator duos. I loved Vanessa’s British male voice, so swoon worthy. Shane’s voice is just delicious all around. If you need a fun, stemay, feel good, holiday romance give this book a listen!
