Sometimes life takes over. Sometimes life gets away from you. Sometimes there just isn't enough time in a day. During times like that reading gets put to the side.

Thankfully the time to read is here. Even better I have books by Grace Brennan to read. Wahoo!!!!! First up was Lightning Storm. I don't think I could have chosen better.

There is no way to not like Bolt. He protected a woman he did not know. He took care of a woman he did not know. His words will have your heart beating faster. His actions will have you swooning page after page. His awesomeness will have you rooting for him.

Anastasia has been on the run for months. No matter how far she runs, or how well she covers her tracks, he finds her. When he finds her, she couldn't have been in a better place. Bolt saved her and takes her to safety.

This is a quick, enjoyable shifter romance with a HEA that will have you feeling all warm a fuzzy.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Lightening storm is a novella is a novella in the ‘’dark leopards’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Lightening storm is the first book of Grace Brennan’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Bolt is a panther shifter that can shoot lightning bolts and Ana is on the run from her abusive ex. What will happen when Bolt discover Ana is his mate?
The chemistry between Ana and Bolt is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
