The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check

By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
This is book is part of the Blood Empire series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Luna is known as Gabriel’s girl but she refuses to accept, give in and isn’t going to agree or go quietly just because that is what everyone says. Gabriel is the sexy as all get out Luna’s man but neither of them want to be with the other or have anything arranged for them but from the moment, they met the chemistry is intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored. Luna is sassy, smart and independent which Gabriel love but will he be able to pull her in a little while allowing her to shine, will she go willing to be Gabriel’s girl and can they find happiness?

Part of a series about mafia brothers, in the previous part brother Anders had to get married, now it;s brother Gabriels turn. Luna has no intention of marrying Gabriel at all and does everything she can to stop it. Gabriel is also not very happy with this arranged marriage but becomes intrigued by Luna. Luna realizes that her family doesn;t want the best for her at all and if she has to get married, she might as well take the benefits. Because she and Gabriel are very evenly matched. In terms of story it is not much, paper thin, it is mainly about how Gabriel and Luna find each other, not necessarily romantic, especially carnally. I personally find it more pleasant if there is also a storyline around it, but otherwise an entertaining story to read, fast and easy fast

I really don't know how to feel about this book. The blurb was completely up my street, however I just didn't enjoy it. It was shorter than I would have liked so you had very little character or relationship development.
Gabriel was a great character, stubborn and aloof at times, it matched his Mafia status though which was good. Luna though was the biggest let down. She started off being completely bad a$$, she was tough and determined, both characters were so against uniting. Then by the last chapter I felt like I'd missed part of the story because they both did a complete u-turn on their plans and it really confused me.

This is Book 2 in the Blood Empire Series and my first read by this author. And I must say that I quite liked the storyline and the characters. It is a suspenseful romance between Luna and Gabriel. These likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as an arranged marriage turns into something more. It is a wild ride with drama, action, steam, mafia dynamic, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner with a healthy dose of sexual tension and chemistry, drama and passion, action and suspense. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

Gabriel and Luna's story was full of twists, turns, chemistry, family drama, and more. Neither wants to be in this situation, but the family demands it. I liked both these characters, they were well written, compelling, sometimes likable, sometimes not. I liked book one, Anders and Avery's book as well, so with 5 brothers in the Rossi family, we have a few more books to come. With both books FREE to read with KU, you can enjoy the series for free.

Quick and steamy

BROKEN BRIDE is the second arranged marriage novella of the Rossi brothers with Gabriel being tied to Luna from a Mexican cartel. Nothing makes a good mafia arranged marriage story like a feisty young woman who can stand up to a dark and unyielding man.

The story works and the personal encounters are smoking hot. Blake York is very skilled at knowing just how much story to tell without the reader feeling it is rushed or too much is left out. I liked it a lot.

A new author for me. This is the 2nd book in the Blood Empire series. I did not read the first book but a,though I had a few places I was a bit confused,mit,was pretty much a stand alone for me. I enjoyed this suspense/romance between Luna and Gabriel. Both characters were likeable and it was easy to root for them. Parts were unexpected making it a compelling read. The couple has an arranged marriage but in time they become more. The author added in lots of twists and turns which kept me reading.

Good Story

This book was a good short story. I really enjoyed Luna and her antics. I enjoyed the spicy scenes in this book and the action. I did have a hard time with parts of this book. It jumps ahead with no details and descriptions and leaves you wondering what happened and how did they get there. The ending felt rushed and left me with multiple questions. I really enjoyed Luna though and felt her character and Gabriel's could have had more scenes with them and their antics together.

Wow, this book certainly packs a punch in more than a few ways, it’s exciting, sexy and hot. It’s a book that l read in one go, mainly because l wanted to know what was going to happen next. Loved how sassy and independent Luna was, however, Gabriel had all the experience and wiles to bring her into line! Loved it.

Book 2 of the Blood Empire series does not disappoint. This is the story of Gabriel Rossi and Luna Santana and it is steamy and sizzling. They are a perfect match in many ways and the way their story was written did them justice. The background and characters are well written and make you want to read the story.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

The Rossis family are the ruthless Italian mafia, Gabriel has been told he is to marry Luna, he does not want to marry her. Luna has been given to the Rossis, when she finds out she is not happy and she tries everything to get ride of him. There was a lot of action, danger, heat, lust and plenty of passion.

Humor & hot attraction

Broken Bride, is Gabriel and Luna's story, it is Gabriels turn to do hid duty and marry a girl his father has picked. The story had plenty of angst, drama, graphic violence and sexy time and a dash of humour. Loved the courage and spark Luna had which made her a good match for Gabriel.

A good story.

I enjoyed this book. Luna is a tough woman. She holds her own against Gabriel. This is a quick read with action and steamy scenes.
