As a black nurse, I appreciated other black nurses’ experiences navigating the nursing profession, racial inequality, and overall personal life challenges. Some of the stories I could relate to. Unfortunately, I felt that the book could have been edited better because numerous typos were a bit distracting. Otherwise, I’m glad our stories are out there for others to read and learn from.
