This story is only about fifty pages long so it is more of a short story than a book.
I have said this before about a another book I read by this author … the editing/proofreading department did NOT read this book before publishing.
There are grammatical errors all over the place which are too numerous to mention. The spelling errors get confusing because the reader has to go back and figure out if the wrong word is being used or if the correct word was just misspelled; and it would have been nice if the author had used the thesaurus so that the word “grab” was not so overused. ( fifteen times in a story of only approximately fifty pages ) There are also story consistency errors, such as Heidi’s homemade fudge turned into brownies within the same scene in the same chapter and Orlando’s car was not parked in Anthony’s driveway on Friday but it was there on Sunday.
There needed to be a discussion regarding safe sex practices. Orlando having unprotected sex with Deidra is irresponsible. Where is the conversation about safe sex and birth control? Where are the condoms?
I would give this story 3 1/2 stars instead of four but I’m hoping in later editions the above issues will be corrected.
This writing is playful, without too much angst so the reader doesn’t have to spend a lot of time reading endless chapters about how Deidra is riddled with guilt for an attraction to Orlando. She has some guilt regarding her feelings but she is a middle aged woman so she has the maturity to not engage in endless emotional self flagellation about her feelings.
There are some light touches between the men but I would not call this an MMF story since the focus is primarily on Deidra’s pleasure, putting the story more in the MFM category.
