Belle is done with men. Her husband left her and their children for another woman and never looked back. All she knows about her father is that he was a bad man who wound up dead because of his bad ways. So why does she feel compelled to trust the man in front of her? A man who is obviously lying when he says he’s a snow leopard shifter. There’s no such thing as shifters. Just like there’s no such thing as true love. Belle’s about to discover she’s wrong about a lot of things. She’s also about to learn that Rift is the right one for her.
Rift has found his mate, at last. But Belle doesn’t want anything to do with him. Somehow, he must persuade her that they’re meant to be together forever. However, she wants him to turn around and walk straight back out of her life. It’s what she wants. He can see it in her eyes. What’s a shifter to do? When Belle and her family are threatened, Rift is the one, she calls on for help. He grabs the opportunity to show her what being a shifter’s mate is all about. But a new discovery threatens the safety of not just Belle’s family, but Rift’s too.
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book but man you can feel Rift’s pain when Belle tells him to leave as she doesn’t believe in men as her dad and uncle were extremely bad men who were part of the traffic*ing ring that took Aidan and Caleb and likely even mu*dered their parents as well as they may be the link to finding out what happened to Ivan’s bio-family. Belle’s ex-husband cheated on her and then left her and her kids so it’s understandable that it takes her awhile to believe in the unbelievable and take a chance at accepting Rift. I loved their connection and Rift was pretty good with Jack and Rosie and I know he’s going to be an awesome dad to them. Wow, there was a lot of strings for them to unravel to find out how it’s all linked and I’m glad Ivan got some of his treasure back and possibly being able to get some information into his bio-family and what treasure actually means to a dragon. Ivan deserves to find his happily ever after in his mate and I wonder if she’ll end up being a dragon like him now I’m really looking forward to reading his story. His brothers will help him with anything all he has to do is ring them and they’ll drop everything to go to his aide as that’s what this family does for each other but especially after everything he’s done for them and their mates. I glad that Belle’s mother Katrina and Oscar are together as she needs a loving man after the sh*t her ex put her through. Oscar is perfect for her. After reading the epilogue I missed getting the usual meet cute of when Ivan met his mate like in all the previous stories. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
The Snow Leopard’s Love is the fifth title in The Bond of Brothers series, and I’ve waited a long time for Rift’s story. He’s the brother who on the surface seems happy-go-lucky, the one that the kids can play with (since Rift often acts like a kid, too), and the parents (paranormal and human) can trust him to keep their precious babies safe no matter what. On the surface is important to remember for beneath that laugh and the contented smile beats the heart of a man who has known pain, rejection, and is convinced that he’ll never find his mate and will always be that “favorite uncle” all the kids adore, and nothing more. That fear is about to become a double-edged sword when Rift’s true mate does come into his life… only to not believe in him, his snow leopard, or even the existence of love itself. She rejects him outright, and as her mate, he has no choice but to abide by her wishes, even if it tears him apart.
Belle has had her life turned upside down between her husband’s cheating, leaving her and their children, Jack and Rosie. Plus learning the truth of her father and uncle’s past horrific actions had shut Belle down and she vows to never, ever trust another man again. The pain is just not worth the small reward, in her mind at least. While searching for answers to questions that have haunted his brothers’ lives, Rift is along when they go to question a possible lead… and feels the physical and emotional effects of his mate being nearby. A mate who wants nothing to do with him.
I have loved Rift the most from the beginning of this series. I try not to have favorites, but this snow leopard shifter won my heart early on and never let go, so it was painful to watch his joy and hope at finally finding his mate only to have that turn to heartbroken ash when Belle rejects him and everything he is. It would have been easy to not like Belle for that reason alone, but she’s had a lot dumped on her recently and I hoped to see her change her mind eventually.
There is, admittedly, a lot going on in The Snow Leopard’s Love. Strings of stories that are beginning to tie off into answers, and perhaps the emergence of even more to come. I adored Jack and Rosie, they easily fit into this huge family of magical beings and non-shifters and it’s obvious they loved Rift. When real danger erupts that threatens her family, Belle will finally turn to Rift for help and begin to see just how amazing being a shifter’s mate can be. Watching her change her attitude and open herself up to possibilities with the man who loves her was challenging and heartwarming.
I’ve loved this story and this series so much – and there is still more to come, and new worlds to explore. If you love a good Paranormal/Shifter Romance, putting puzzle pieces together, with a touch of danger… and lots of love and emotions, then you’d feel right at home with The Snow Leopard’s Love. I will mention that this series grows on the knowledge from the previous story so reading them in order (if at all possible) is highly recommended.
This is an OK shifter romance, with a likable couple -- but it seemed a little slow to me. I'm not sure why, because it wasn't especially long, but maybe it needed more showing and less telling. I also wanted a little more backstory on both Rift and Belle. It gets 3 stars from me.
The couple does fall in instalove, which is typical for shifter romances. There are sex scenes, but they are not overly explicit.
I liked Rift, and I liked that he didn't try to push Belle to accept him as her mate immediately. He understood that she was still dealing with a painful divorce, which would make her hesitant to believe she was his mate -- so he was willing to show her that he could be trusted.
I did think that Belle would have had a harder time accepting the whole shifter and fated mates thing. She wasn't a shifter, and was still dealing with a painful divorce, so I think she would have had a tough time with being the fated mate of a shifter. I did like that her mother convinced her to give Rift a chance, so that he could prove himself trustworthy.
One problem I have with all of this author's series is that there is so long between books. Lots of times I have to go back and reread some of the earlier books in a series, simply because it has been so long that I don't remember all the characters. That is frustrating. I know that this author writes lots of books -- but I wish she would concentrate on one series at a time, so that the books could be published closer together. For that reason, I made a point of not starting this series until I thought it was complete.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
I really liked this story a lot. Rift is a super caring person, but when he meets Belle she is cautious. Her kids Jack and Rosie are adorable. The problems mount up fast. There is a lot going on in this story. People are after Belle and she doesn't know why. Of course Rift will do whatever it takes to protect her and the kids.
The pace is breakneck and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some action and some suggestions of steam but no major details. The characters are vivid and endearing, including all the secondary characters. You do need to read these in order, but you don't have to read any other books by Harmony Raines to follow this series. However, if you get these and you want more by her, there are a ton of books to pick from. I would start with the Bear Creek and Bear Bluff box set, then go to Return to Bear Bluff box set and the many books in Return to Bear Creek series, some of which are in box sets. Then there are all the side stories to Bear Creek. If you like shifter romances with complex characters and some action, then these are good for you. Enjoy!
Very entertaining read but not everything is answered. Lovely to have Rift get his HEA and he also gets two children to start his family off. Bit of a crazy plot that involved Ivan and his dragon hoard as well. We don’t get answers for everything that happens or for what happened re the kidnapping of the brothers as children but I am assuming those questions will be answered in Ivan’s story. Dario didn’t help out in this book either. My only concern was Belle had only been abandoned by her husband just a few months before but her do it alone, rely on only herself attitude seemed ingrained and therefore made it seem more like years. Also the fact she thinks she is better able to handle a possibly dangerous problem than a shifter was silly. I was kindly offered this book for an honest review but chose to read it through Kindle Unlimited.
Rift has just met his mate, the big problem here, Belle doesn't know anything about shifters. Her husband left her and the children and she has lost all trust in men. Rift has his work cut out for him to win his mate and her trust. On top of that, they are now dealing with a past that has haunted Rift's brothers for most of their lives. There are things happening that may unlock the future for Ivan, and may bring closure to Aiden, Caleb & Zara. In the middle of all of it, Rift must protect his mate, her children and her mom from the very people who may be responsible for the deaths of many shifters. Read on to see if Rift has what it takes to care for his mate and her family. See if they figure out exactly what it is that had Ivan tied in knots. I enjoyed this story and can't wait to read Ivans story!
Bella and her mom are at her uncles house cleaning it out after he has pasted away. When strangers show up to ask some questions about her dad and uncles activities almost forty years ago. Rift and his brother need answers his brother where kidnapped when they where little but the person that did it didn’t come back one day and the boy where put in the system and eventually adopted by Valerie Rifts adopted mother. She adopted six boys all special. Because if their shifter ability’s. But what they find is mor much much more for Rift. Bella is his mate but first he must convince her about shifters and their feelings. But he will have to protect her and her kids and mom first because they’re are men after something they think they have. So enjoy another great read and see how it turns out for them and if they get a HEA !!
They did a searching spell on a toy that the police had when the twins were kidnapped. Which lead them to a house that had his mate. Lol he old barely walk and talk and with her mothers help she slowly understood about shifters and mates. P,us he showed hus snow leopard to her. It took being followed to call him to their rescuse. They ambushed the men and was wondering about the treasure that her dead uncle supposedly had in his hands. They went to wishing moon bay and the kids did find something and it was Ivan treasure. Another mystery to figure out of her uncle and dad. Ivan and Oscar went with them and gotten lucky with the men who wanted a pendent that would clear his father on killing her dad and to find out who killed Ivans. They found it gave it to them and gone home to wishing moon bay.
Wishing Moon Bay is a secret town. It can only be found by a select magical few. Inhabited by shifters, witches, warlocks and an occasional vampire, the stories that come from it are mystical, adventurous and loving. Following the family of 5 boys, grown to men, of various shifter species, this book follows the snow leopard, Rift. The five boys were all adopted by hotelier Valerie and raised in Wishing Moon Bay. Rift meets Belle while he and some of his family are searching for answers to family mysteries. Instead he finds his mate, her two children, and her mom. But he also continues to search for answers for his family, and now Belle's. Great story telling and wonderful romance.
As we see from the beginning of the series Rift is always there for everyone in his family and when he finally finds his mate she rejects him. All her life men have let down Belle may it be her father, uncle or her ex and when she meets Rift there is an instant connection which she is scared of. Despite being rejected Rift helps Belle and her family in distress. The mystery of Aidan and Caleb's kindnapping and their parents murder was completely forgotten and now there is a new mystery - murder of Ivan's parents and his lost treasure. Everyone in the family is trying to keep Belle's family safe. But Belle seems standoffish the whole read which irked me. Finally, Rift gets his happy ending. Belle was irritating at many instances apart from which it was a good read.
This was so intense, Ivan is now going to know more about his family and where he came from. Rift is such a wonderful person, and he has a good heart, and I am glad he found his mate Belle. For a moment there I thought the thugs was going to cause harm, but due to desperation they acted as though they were going to hurt Belle and her family. But Ivan story sounds like it will be epic, and maybe Fiona will finally remember that she was the one that save Ivan and gave him to Valerie.. only time will tell, can't wait to read his story...bog fan as always Winzie19 🤗💞.
The Snow Leopards Love by Harmony Raines. In trying to find out what happened to Caleb and Aidens parents Rift finds his mate in Belle. Belle is not looking for another man in her life. She never knew her father and her husband walked out on her a not very long ago leaving her to bring up their two children. Add to that Belles father and uncle had something to do with the twins parents deaths. Get another of Harmony Raines books you can't put down until the end.
Valerie is an incredible woman, She is not a shifter, but she adopts six boys who have five different animals. There is one set of twin bears. The boys adore her and will do anything to make her happy. Each son has his own story about meeting his mate, and each story is interesting. It's easy to love this family and their magical town. I wish they had another dozen brothers -- or some sisters!
While helping his adopted brothers find out about men they think killed their parents and kidnapped them when they were children, Rift finds his mate!! Can he get Belle to acknowledge the connection between them? Will they find out the truth before it is too late? A great romance story!!
Mother ,daughter hurt by 2 men past, find new loves
Had mystery, shifter human mate meeting , Belle having been no father in her life, husband deserts her and kids No reason to trust men, til she meets her shifter mate. Raised by a mother who had also been hurt by her husband and brother.
Rift finds his happy ever after but it takes a lot of work, especially when his mate, Belle does not trust anyone, especially men. Belle has two adorable kids named Rosie and Jack. Rift falls in love with them the first time he sees them. And there is also the problem that someone is after his mate. But why?
Enjoyed this story about Rift and Belle because it had a little mystery in it. I felt happy and sad for Ivan. I mean he found some of his treasure he had no idea about then he realized his family was more important than any treasure. Shocking for a dragon. The story had 2 love stories in one book. Fun read. I love Mission Moon Bay.
Another amazing job of storytelling!! Wishing Moon Bay is definitely an awesome story about six adopted brothers who know what it means to be a family and will do whatever it takes to get their mate !! Protecting family means everything and nothing is out of bounds when they need you!!
Awesome as always. This story has a great adventure filled with plots, action and mystery. The characters are loveable and family oriented. Second chance for Belle. Rift finds his mate while looking for answers for his brothers. A murder is stalking Belle and her family. Together with help of friends and family the will solve the mystery .
The mystery of who killed the twins parents, and Ivan's father are slowly being solved as each brother finds their mate.
Rift meets his mate, the niece of the man they thought had killed the twins parents, but they also find a piece of Ivans missing treasure, leading to his fathers murderer.
This series is so good! For a family brought together by what appeared to be random events, they are all having to readjust what they thought they knew. It just shows that sometimes fate does have a plan. 💞
The "boys" of Wishing Moon Bay just never seem to have an easy time with their mates. But then, that is what makes their stories more interesting! Love the story and the series. I can't wait for Ivan to tell us his.
I love when you start a series by Harmony Raines it draws you into always wanting more. The suspense, love and characters grow to always reach a satisfying end! I can't wait to read Evans story.I hope it is soon!
Rift unexpectedly finds his mate, but she , her two children and her mother are in danger. It's going to take the whole family to solve this problem and keep everyone safe. Love this series. Looking forward to Iran's story.
Rift has found his mate. When he went with his brother to find out what happened he finds his mate Belle. Belle his packing up her uncle's home with her mum when a group of strangers turn up!
This series just keeps on going. Rift finds his mate, who isn't prepared to accept him. He has to show her that being a shifter is not a bad thing, and love can be trusted.
A new author to add to my list! A well written book in this seriously captivating series. I am now going to read more of this really good author. Thank you Harmony Chewie
